[Resolved]  Airtel — Cancel my airtel postpaid connection

Hi sir,

I have been using airtel post paid connection till dec 2008, as i planned to move to u.S.A, i requested to cancel my connection in airtel customer care center( indira nagar, bangalore) on 11 on dec 2008, but it was not canceled and i was receiving bills and i could see that the connection is still in active state. I raised a complaint about this on 3 of feb 2009, to the customer care center, somebody named sathish from cancellation department told me that it would be canceled within 24 hrs. On 12 march 2009 i saw that it was still active, so i called up the customer care on the same day, they told me to clear the outstanding, which i was not at all using still i cleared on the same day through online payment and the call was transferred to same person satish from cancellation department, he regretted for the inconvenience and again told that he would ask the concern department to cancel it and he assured that it would be cancelled within 24 hrs. It was deactivated the next day, however i could see it active state now on 24th of march. Now i am staying in nashua u.S.A and i will not be able to use the sim card nor talk to the customer care, i kindly request you to cancel my airtel postpaid connection immediately.

Please help me out in this regards. It has been very frustrating for me to go over this.

Airtel Chennai — Prepaid Connection Termination without Intimation

I was using Airtel prepaid connection mobile number [protected] for the past six years now. I was posted at Assam temporarily where the network connection was not available. When I got back to Indore in April, I found out that my sim was inactive even though the connection was valid till end of April 2011. I called chennai customer care and since I was at Indore, I was told to go to the nearest airtel office and try to reactivate the number. I even lodged a complaint on the website through [protected]@in.airtel.com and got an acknowledgement but I'm still yet to get a reply. Please help me as this number is important as all my friends and relatives can contact me through this number. It would save a lot of inconvienence.

Airtel Postpaid Connection — cancellation of postpaid connection

The mobile no. [protected] which was allotd to the Deptt. of Food Supplies and Consumer Affairs,K-Block Govt. of NCT of Delhi Vikas Bhawan for official use is to be surrendered as the afformentioned mobile no. is not in use at this time. As per the bill dated 04/05/2011 an amount of Rs 1333/- has been shown outsanding which is to be paid bythis departrment. The department is ready to pay the aforementioned amount of Rs.1333/-. We have already mailed on your site on 12/05/2011 and again be submitted a letter on 16/06/2011 for cancellation the number and the dealing hand whose name is Mr, Sunny given us id no. 38002762. Airtel service for my 3g number [protected] has been rediculous and i have to incurr a huge loss . Its speed in not crossing beyond 5 kbps and its happening from past two months. Airtel is least bothered and now i want to disconnect it.

Airtel Postpaid — Cancellation not processed

Cancellation not processed despite several mails to [protected]@airtel.in. Everytime i receive a standard answer that your request will be processed in next 24 hrs.

I want to cancel my no. [protected], given cancellation request several times but what i am seeing they are keep on generating bill despite regular reminder to airtel on [protected]@airtel.in.

I don't know reason and feeling harashed. I have cleared all outstanding. I am not owning anything than why?
