[Resolved]  Airtel — Cancel my airtel postpaid connection

Hi sir,

I have been using airtel post paid connection till dec 2008, as i planned to move to u.S.A, i requested to cancel my connection in airtel customer care center( indira nagar, bangalore) on 11 on dec 2008, but it was not canceled and i was receiving bills and i could see that the connection is still in active state. I raised a complaint about this on 3 of feb 2009, to the customer care center, somebody named sathish from cancellation department told me that it would be canceled within 24 hrs. On 12 march 2009 i saw that it was still active, so i called up the customer care on the same day, they told me to clear the outstanding, which i was not at all using still i cleared on the same day through online payment and the call was transferred to same person satish from cancellation department, he regretted for the inconvenience and again told that he would ask the concern department to cancel it and he assured that it would be cancelled within 24 hrs. It was deactivated the next day, however i could see it active state now on 24th of march. Now i am staying in nashua u.S.A and i will not be able to use the sim card nor talk to the customer care, i kindly request you to cancel my airtel postpaid connection immediately.

Please help me out in this regards. It has been very frustrating for me to go over this.

Consider this as my authorization to cancel my connection and please cancel my connection immediately and deactivate my sim card.

Dear all I got a Airtel post paid Sim, my monthly plan 299/-including 1200 local min-free, 300 sms free, & 1 gb 2 g data free after cross limit then 30 paisa per call but 2nd month my bill is 1483/- my mobile data use 10570 kb. I call catomer care his said only first month 1 gb mobile data free. please help me cont-[protected]

Hi!

Similar problem here. My request was ignored and they kept on piling up charges for nothing. Finally, they deactivated it for "non-payment" of dues and threatening me of legal consequences. Plus I still get the Billing of 3000 rupees minimum to my mail box every month, when the sim itself is deacvitated long back.

Please take necessary actions ASAP.

Hi,

I am Satish Chukka requesting you that please close my Post paid connection no [protected]. Because I lost my data card. Already I gave the complaint in phone, but nobody is taken the action. and they are doing billing for every month.
Already I paid 1300 rupees without any data and after I gave the complaint also they charged this much.
Please take the necessary action.

Worst service I have ever seen. These nuts customer care people do not cancel the connection just to loot more and more money from the customers. I suggest you all not to go with the Airtel Postpaid service if you want a peaceful life. They know how to make your life hell.

I moved out to USA in nov this year and called customer care to deactivate my airtel mobile connection ([protected]) but still i am getting online bill for the same number even if i am not making any call using that number or anything.

I have even removed that number sim on 1st nov, 2014, still getting those bills.

Please deactivate my airtel number ([protected]).

the following procedure said that we have to send an official mail to close the procedure so take this as an official mail close the procedure, please do the needful,

Hi,

Same here, I've declared my SIM card lost and ask to close my connection. I just received a bill again, even though the line ([protected]) is closed. Please cancel the account ASAP.
