refer my complain of 25/4/12 no 1815055 for digital TV id-[protected].the registerd mob no is-[protected] and [protected].everyday the customer care use to tell that the set box needs to be changed and they will send it from BANGALORE.ON 4/5/12 I went to city service centre where service technician sri subramaniam mob [protected] told that set box has come to the transport agency and he will fix up the same or he will borrow from the other service centre and defenitly complete by evening.But all promisses failed and finally we were advised to contact sri VINAY MOB [protected] and he promissed to get it attended by 14/5 but not attended and today even he is not responding over the mobile.we have now no hope whether our complain will be attended at all.despite our children and family suffered for want of TV during the summervacation.now we request you to either attend the complain or refund the money and terminate the connection so that we can find the alternative.our address-302, D-BLOCK, PALACE HEIGHTS, SIVAJINAGAR, KORMANNAPALEM, VISAKHAPATNAM-530046

In India companies are looting people. Government should do something for that to save people from these crooked companies. Govt.should make rules that company should provide the equipment, cause if they do so they will provide good service, otherwise they don't care about the customers. Because they know customer buy those expensive equipment, they can't leave the company and they can charge anything they want. Same thing is doing airtel.
On October 20 - I used "my airtel app" to provide a complaint that my tv is not getting a
signal after the cyclone hudhud. Here is the response from them

after the cyclone, today the power got restored at sagar nagar. when I
switch on the set top box, it stays with orange color light and on tv it
sayys there is no signal. when pressed ok it shows signal strength as zer0.

When I did not get any response from them I wrote another complain on 23rd Oct.- again
using airtel app. Below is the reply from them

although three days have been passed by no body has responded to my last
service request ...

Then after waiting for another 36 hrs, I called them back on 24th Oct. 5:47 PM to the
customer care number [protected] and lodged a complaint stating the problem. When I asked
them that I have complained earlier on "my airtel app", they said they do not have any
reports of the problem (even though the above two messages say they have received my
complaints). Anyway after reporting my problems they provided me a reference number (which
is[protected] and said that it is going to be solved within 24 hrs. They also provided me a
number to call to [protected] (I have tried several times to this number but it hardly
connects, so i stopped calling this number after two days) and also said that one person
is going to call me on this.
After I did not receive any response from anyone, I called them back once more on Sunday
26th to [protected] at 10:26 AM to which they give me a false promise that the person is
going to call me on the same day for checkup. I waited and waited and even did not went
to shopping thinking that at any moment they might call me. But nobody turned up on that day.
The same day (Sunday 26th), I got an email (which I checked on 27th). The contents are here

reasons
1- They are deducting money everyday without providing any proper service and giving false promises
2 - Even though I have given a complaint 7 days before nobody is giving any particular date as to
when it is going to get resolved. and thirdly
3- They never provide any response. and every time I have to call them for which the charges are
also high and I havd to hear their annoying advertisement stuffs.
So, I put them on facebook and also complained on their facebook forum regarding their pathetic
service. Here is what I wrote

and when I did not got any one I again called them up on 26th at 10:24 AM. They said that one person
is going to come there on that day and will look into the matter. It is already 29th Oct 2014, I
neither get any person to look into the matter nor any reply from them telling when they are going
to correct it. And that also happens in the city of Visakhapatnam. So pathetic customer service and
I suggest everyone to boo booo airtel products.

call was from the number [protected] (once at 12:00 PM when I was on exam invigilation duties, so i
cancelled it) and another time at 4:25 pm. When I picked up the later call, they said some one is
going to come and correct it and he will call me back. It is already 31st 3:07 PM and so far no one
has called me back. And yes I have got an email... the content is

Almost 12 days have been passed since my first complaint and so far no solutions have been provided but they keep asking for more time (exactly how mach more only GOD knows) . Not only that they everyday, are deducting Rs 12/- per day from my digital TV account.
So I am providing this complaint against Airtel digitla tv, not only to restore my service freely as soon as possible but also restore my balance in my digital tv account plus a Rs 5000/- fine to me for providing false promises
