[Resolved]  Airtel — Deficiency in service

I, harsh golchha, residing in lajpat nagar having broadband connection and fixed line services of Airtel. On 30th August, 2011 a lodged the complaint for dsconnecting of the broadband and telecom services but till of writing this complaint[protected] services are not disconnected by the Airtel, when i called they just gave me a new complaint no. and assurance that i will get the call from Airtel and services will be disconnected. Mean time on 5/9/2011 my brother received a call form Mr. Pradeep form airtel saying that instrument will be repaired by the company and the engineer will come to my home nut no engineer has never come. I also wrote a mail to nodal officer of the Airtel but i dont think she has time to read the mail and take any necessary action on the same. If Airtel took right action on right time than my instruments can be repaired.

Why Airtel is not responding on the complaint.

This is AKHILESH KUMAR DIXIT, having mobile no -[protected].
I am using Airtel for last 3 year, and I am very happy with your
service but now your it is not so .

Now what's the Matter that make me annoyed about your service?

On 2nd December, 2007 my Mobile was lost.
After that I informed custmer care to stop my services from some
other number ( which I don't know)

But your customer care didn't do that and reply me that they don't
have any authority.Then I file complain with Police and approach
Airtel showroom for new sim.
Between this period the person who find the Mobile activated some VAS
service on my number and make some calls also .
For this I asked your CC to tell me those numbers when I get my
duplicate sim or any other services by which my balanced was reduced.

But your CC didn't tell me.
After that I didn't take cognizance that my balance was deduted by Rs
15 every month .I received some messages from 543212 that enjoy VAS
pack in every five six days, for this I talk to your custmer care
that why I am receiving these messages, he told me that some time our
server send to our customers as default and you need not to vary for
it No money will be deducted for this ( this talk is before I get to
know that my balance was deducted every month)

After this I talk to your CC on 2nd May(i think) he transferred my
call to his senior, Senior assurred me that your service will be
deactivated by 6th May afternoon. I said ok .
But still after this I am receiveng message from the same number to
enjoy your VAS pack. Again I talk to customer Care, he told me that
your service is deactivated know.
After it I get relaxed and didn't talk further on this matter.

But again today my balanced is deducted for the services, which was
told to me that it is deactivated by your customer care.

This is totally a deficeincy in service u/s 2 of Consumer Protection Act.

Now I want my money back for seven months i.e 15*7=105, which you deducted.
Because I took all precautionary measures, but it is your collegues
who didn't provide me full information.

Reply to this complain.

AirTel — deficient service

I think my letter is self explanatory, here goes a copy of the letter
Dear Sir/Madam,
We are Loyal Airtel customers and have had no other cellular service provider but Airtel
Oflate, I’m sad to say that it may not be the case.
I had bought a new Airtel Simcard on 10th october and was promised immediate activation .I had also submitted all the required documents and photo.I further paid Rs333/- for talk time currency .The activation hasn’t happened till now and hence I request you to kindly refund my money to the below address.I am mailing this as I have not received a favorable response from my local(Malleshwaram 13crs sampige road, Bangalore)office.The service at that centre is pathetic, even after continous follow up and waiting for hours together at the showroom availability of knowledgeable personnal is scarce.
I had bought this new sim card because my previous sim was deactivated even upon my request to keep it active and was valid till November 16th this year.I had particularly requested for the number since it is the one printed on the visiting cards and advertisement material.
The company representative had asked me to pay for 1 year validity and had said the number will be active since the validity would continue through
November 16th 08 and even so till 90 days after the expiration of the validity.
After some 3 weeks of running around for my previous number I had had enough and bought a new simcard paying Rs 100! And the manager promising a free 2 year validity .Its bad that Airtel sold my previous number even when I was promised it would’nt happen and then I’m asked to buy another one! I further bought additional currency of Rs333/- believing the manager of the shoowroom!. Continued personal visits and telephone requests havent yielded any results.
I’m not sure where to take this matter but the consumer court and I have since written a complaint and obtained a acknowledge for the same since I was told that airtel didn’t provide anything in writing and I had believed everything I was told everytime!.There was also a excessive charge complaint on my previous phonenumber([protected]) I was told that the charges were for activating International calling facilities which were standard and I had to cancel them calling a 3 digit number.Even after doing so I could still make international calls and then I recently learnt from the Airtel manager that there were no such charges levied by Airtel to its prepaid customers and that I was given a madeup answer!I don’t know why I was given this wrong information ! and the complaint itself is almost a year old without any response from your end.
I think this is more than sufficient proof of customer neglect and defiecient service on part of Airtel and hence I am asking for a refund of the charges for the 1 year validity, New sim card purchase and currency of Rs333/- which will add to RS 1433/-.
I hope the matter will be resolved with some priority as its already been a long wait for me

AirTel — Airtel deficiency in services

Hi

I have taken Airtel Corporate connection through HCL technologies .
I asked then to change billing addresses to Home address instead of office office.I have submitted all required documents and all and even address verification has been done .I am also using its Broadband connection also.from last two monthsi am not able to make outgoing call despite of serveral reminder to Airtel office wasting time to talk to Customer Care because some times they are disconnecting the phone.I am really in mental tention as my number [protected] has been distributed among lots of people.so many times i been to Airtel office but always they are pretending and throwing ball to other's.
I want to go in court.
Please advice.

AirTel — Deficiency of service

I have lodge complain with my mobile No. [protected] with service provider Airtel regarding weak network at my residence. My First complain was lodged on 23/01/2010 and time and till now. They have been making promise that they are working on it as there are many complain of same nature from my area but till date nothing has been done. I feel this is a case of Deficiency of Service.
On[protected], i received sms, offering television channels on my mobile phone using airtel connection and accepting the terms and conditions in the above messages i tried subscribe 'all channels/7 days for Rs.40/-' but received directions asking me to try again to subscribe the above service. thereafter on[protected] again i received messages deducting Rs 40/- from my account for using and choosing the above service but no service is provided by airtel despite lodging of repeated complaints so far.

My name is Rahul P. Hotwani. Cricket pack service was activated by Airtel, without any intimation and the balance of Rs. 20 was deducted for the same. Airtel refuses to pay these Rs. 20.

Me and my family are Airtel users since the last few years. we have had several complaints abt the deficiency in service provided by airtel but none of the complaints are ever entertained.
I recently (26- 30 oct 2011) sent a few mms from my air tel number. i got a false delivery and msg retrieved report and my balance was also deducted, but the mms were never delivered to the recipient. The customer care executives are pathetic.They don't even understand the nature of complaint and give false assurance. In one single day i called up the customer care as well as technical help center several times but was only given false assurances.
Airtel is looting people by starting VAS and deducting money for the same. the balance is never returned n it's a headache to keep calling customer care for stopping every damn service that i never asked for in the first place.
I request other harried airtel users to join me in taking airtel to consumer court.
