[Resolved]  Airtel — no signal

I am not getting network signal in my house and just outside. I cannot make any calls or attend any calls inside the house, as soon as i get a call i will have to run outside and attend the call... and this Iam not talking about a distant place away from the town. This is within the city limits of Mumbai in Kalyan as soon as i reach in front of my house the call gets disconnected.
I have been complaining with airtel about this from last 6 months. Every time they say that they are looking into it, but nobody has even bothered to call me and let me know the status and they are not even sure if they can set it right.
I want to change my connection to some other service provider, but i will have to let go of the number, which i have been using from last 2 yrs. If there is an option of retaining the number, then i would certainly change the service provider. There are 3 other connections in my house with different mobile sets, all are working proper network.

I am living in sec-46 chandigarh.I have 5 connections of Airtel but none of the connection is working at my home I have repeatedly made complaints to airtel since dec'07 regarding signal problem but nothing has happened so far I am a businessman and I have suffered a lot due to this I want to ask who is responsible for the losses incurred on me Other connections like spice, reliance, tata etc are working fine in my area .Please guide me what to do and where to go.

i am resident of 2-2-1074 Alekhya Radha sadan 6 no bus stop amberpet .
Problem is once i enter my apartment then airtel doesn't works. There will be no signal and dam i miss very important calls.Initially i though it was my mobile problem but i have seen same problem with all of my neighbors. Beside our apartment there are some mobile towers. I think because of them we are unable to get airtel signal. I have many times registered complaint regarding this and no response from airtel. I am thinking of chaging th network. In spite of being in the center of city we dont have enough signal to communicate and besides no response from airtel.

I am living in Vertix Paradise on Nizampet Road, Kukkatpally Hyderabad 72. There is no signal in our apartment i have made several complaints to the nearest Airtel office (ie Narla Enterprises, 1-2-25/12, Atmaram Complex, Main Road, Kukkatpally Hyderabad). Some technician has also visited our place for checking, he also confirmed that there is no signal in our apartment and said there is some optimization problem. But nothing practical has been done in this regard .I have this problem since i have moved in this place for seven months.
Kindly try to rectify my problem as my work is suffering due to non availability of my phone. I being in corporate office need to stay on call and my work is really suffering due to this.
So i request to do something in this regard otherwise i need to change my connection..

Dear Sir,

I have been using Airtel Postpaid for about 6 months now. The signal reception in Medavakkam, Chennai is very poor. The signal is not available indoors and most of the time the mobile phone displays "No network found".

Please install boosters to enhance the signal in medavakkam, chennai.

I am currently staying at Janapriya Apt, Attapur, Hyderaguda, Hyderabad. I am not getting the signal in my flat, for any call i need to go to outside of my flat. Almost all the corner flats having very good signal. Not sure what to, though for emergency I have taken one more new connection from TATA docomo where the signal is excellent inside my flat, , but i dont want to change because i am customer of Airtel since 1999.

I complained several times to Airtel but no reposnse. Any suggestion, i am ready to buy a booster if its availlable and will give me the better signal.

Seems like Airtel got broke down in Nizampet.
I stay @ Balaji Nagar in Nizampet, In our flat we just recieve Airtel signal but for the past one month we lost signal on our mobiles. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.

My instrument is showing NO SIGNAL since 4th May, 2010. I have been getting assurances and dates from AIRTEL Customer care for the resolution of my problem since 4th may till date but their engineer has not arrived till date. I have send a number of mails for discontinuing the service and refund of my annual recharge amount 3722/- but still there is no reply. I have already forwarded the same mail to [protected]@airtel.in. asking for the early resolutions.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — SIGNAL LOSS ISSUE AND NO RESPONSE

I have been calling Airtel customer care for 4 times and by selecting the Technical department correctly, the call lands to the marketing team and when they try to transfer the call, the call either gets disconnected or it goes to a long hold. I repeatedly told this to the customer care saying the call that you transfer is not getting connected but they give no hear to it. Please can somebody come and rectify the SIGNAL LOSS issue that is flashing on my TV.

Airtel DTH — no signal and no response to complaint

No signal received since the onset of monsoon (7th June) , on my digital TV.

Complaints raised - at least 5 times with customer care. as at today (27th June) still to be resolved. football worldcup gone! and my account balance is getting deducted despite no service.

once an engineer came, was to comeback an hour later, but never came back.

Here is the status. An engineer came on 27th and fixed the antenna for correct signal (according to him your previous engineer had not fixed it properly!) - This I have noted in the customer charge slip.

The status now is the signal is still going even at the slightest of rain... so what do i really do in monsoon?? I checked with your engineer if dish location (already on top of a 18 storey terrace) need to be changed, but he said no need.

Now I have been charged Rs. 100 for the engineer's visit while the problem is very clearly with the signal strength or with your team's installation or both... its not the question of amount, but y should a customer keep paying you for the cost you should be bearing for setting the wrong right. on top of it i keep paying for a package i am not getting full time, and still pay for engineers visit?

I have written a separate complaint to [protected]@airtel.in for adjusting the subscription for loss of service for three weeks as well as to reverse visit charges. While i do not know what to do to watch tv !! may be need to change the service provider but dont know how others fare...

Could you at least attend to above complaints??

I have been receiving No Signal error for the last 3 days and I have called the customer care for around 10 times, but these irresponsible people are bluffing around the issue but no resolution has been taken till now.

Even the local cable operators would have given me a better service than this one. I am feeling bad for choosing airtel and thinking of switching to some other service provider.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — NO SOLUTION TO PERSISTENT PROBLEMS

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV is the worst service provider I have every been through. I am highly disappointed with the level of service they think they are offering. It has been more than a week i have been complaining regarding no signal receipt on my dish but they have been continously ditching by saying that today the problem will be solved. From the first complain on 24th of July till today (3rd August) the complain still remains the same. No employee or the service provider has approached us till today.

This is the worst case of hopeless service i have ever been through. I kindly request the government to set a body to regulate these kind of fraudulent behaviour of company with the general public. These companies charge us in advance and then they are not able to give service on time or ever.

There should be some thing which can regulate this frauds.

Airtel DTH — No Signal

I am the first customer of Airtel Digital TV in my locality, was proud
to here that indeed.

But I realised the big mistake I made by choosing such a irresponsible
company as DTH service provider.

My story begins within one month of my installation. I registered a
complaint ( complaint no. 3713586) at 9.15 pm on 31st Aug 2010. I was
told next day ( 1st Sep. 2010) before 1.30 pm my problem will be
solved. As there was no one at home, I had to take leave and wait for
the call or technician. Also I got an SMS confirming the complaint ,
the message is like the following “ dear Customer, thank you for
contacting us. Your Service request no. is 3713586 for “Video
Problem”. For any further assistance please contact at [protected]”
message received at 9.18 pm on 31st Aug. 2010

Nothing happened till 4.30 pm and then I had to again make a call to
the customer care at 4.00 pm on 1st Sep 2010 – I was told within 1 hr,
it will be addressed or I will get a call.
Waited for 90 minutes again the routine call back to customer care at
5.30 pm on 1st sep 2010 and had to listen to all the commentary and
to repeat the all story, and after lot of persistence I got to speak
to one Mr. Bala, Team Leader who committed within one hour I will get
a call to solve the problem.

Waited again for 90 minutes and 6.45 pm on 1st Sep 2010 called the
customer care, got a customer care executive and he was so rude and
has got the audacity to bang the phone.
But after that I got one more message on the phone stating the
following “dear Customer, thank you for contacting us. Your Service
request no. is 3721460 for “Wrong Resolution (Domino)”. For any
further assistance please contact at [protected]” message received at
6.52 pm on 1st Sep 2010.

I thought I call the no. provided to get some assistance. But to my
surprise the person who picked up the phone told me it is wrong no.
and has nothing to do with airtel and he started abusing me that he is
getting too many calls. I told him to complain to airtel for giving
wrong No.
Again I made a call at 7.10 pm on 1st Sep 2010- one Mr. Yuvakanth
picked up the phone. He said in another 15 minutes I will get a call
back or someone will come. I writing this mail at 7.50 pm that means
40 min. passed nothing happened.

Now it is 1.35 pm on 2nd sep 2010 still no information... and i am waiting

I fail to understand the service levels of a company at this stature.
Silly mistakes of wrong numbers, wrong commitments, rude customer
support staff and what not….
I have decided not to recommend and discourage people from using any
services from Airtel. I have met different venders for different
services but this is the worst of services I have ever come across in
my life time.

Hope GOD save this company as it may not survive for long if the
services goes on like this

I am new user of airtel DTH. I have got it from my cousin. But I don't know that what name and cell no. did he used when purchasing it. Airtel DTH — bad signal or no signal

dear sir, i had recharge my account yesterday .but it has given no signal on tv today also this is minor problem please sir solve it early... thanks.. my id no is [protected]
i have total 4 sims of airtel. beside ayyappa temple , if airtel incoming call comes, i shall have to come to road to receive it. where as for idea,vodaphone,uninor ,tataindicom sims i can receive it in my house louder and clear. no signal for airtel in this area. but we are pleased with airtel services out of our 10 portion building. if airtel does not take necessary action to imrove signal, all 4 sims and other sims in the apartment will be converted in number portability option to other service providers..because you are forcing your customers to change to good signaling partners.
