I have lost my mobile phone along with airtel sim.
The telephone no is [protected].
The sim has been purchased at Aurangabad. Maharastra.
Please block the SIM so that it should not be used by any wrong person.
The sim & phone has been lost on 16.11.2008 at arround 7.00 pm.

Airtel — Did not Block the SIM,requested 3 times , suspiscious usage

Dear Sir/Madam,

I want to file a complaint against Airtel (Rajasthan) in lieu of case that my phone went missing on 16th January 2009 & despite making frantic calls to the Customer Care number & requesting them "thrice" to block the SIM to avoid wrongful usage of the missing phone they dint take the requisite action.
Time & again, I was assured by three different agents (one of them was Sumit Jain c/o Airtel Rajasthan) that my SIM will be blocked with in 30 minutes but was not done so.

Due to this negligency of the company I have incurred huge bill due to usage of my Phone & SIM by some suspiscious person.
I also have reported FIR of lost phone & have copy of FIR & bill which holds the record of my efforts taken to avoid misuse of my phone.

I want to write a plea to consumer court to help me get justice against this case & help me to save myself from the hefty bill of service usage which were not even used by me,

Airtel Prepaid SIM — block of sim

respected sir, i am a prepaid customer of airtel from about 1 year. i bought a sim no [protected] in 2007. when address verification was made, then everything was ok. but on 26 january 2009 i lost my mobile[nokia 3230] with this sim card. i complained to my nearest police station. then i went to airtel office with the copy of f.i.r. to make block my number. but they refused to close my number. they says this number is not issued on my identity. so please let me know what to do. thank you.
