[Resolved]  B. E. S. T. Undertaking — best bus complaint

From kandivali to bangurnagar there are only 3 buses running 210, 707, 205. i want to suggest them that there is no proper frequancy is maintaining by them. every 3 out of 5 occations this buses comes same time then there will be a half hour break.also their drivers & conductors are very careless specially 707 long route buses, they always skip to stop some of the small stop. I faced lots of trouble with best buses. some time i also argued with conductors regarding this, plz take some serious actions immediately on best buses we public have to face lots of trouble because their drivers & conductors are becoming very careless. plz do feedback to my email id [protected]@yahoo.co.in & on weekends also frequancy is very less, some this buslike 205, 210 whos last stop dahisar bridge some time they runs till chincholi bundur or orlem church (210) why they are wasting petrol to run for such short distances. i observe this buses for short distance they never had passangers, plz do take immediate actions on best buses

Bus no 35 : I am a regular traveler Bus no 35 to Chakala. 1 bus comes at 7.55-8.01am. Then no bus till 8.30 am.

Earlier one bus use to come from plaza around 8-10-8.15 of late no bus.

Note the bus which comes early reaches at 8.40-45 and bus which comes at 8.30 reaches at 9.20 due to traffic jam after 8.30 .

There are other buses which are regular for eg 87, 315, 91, (Bus No 414 two buses go in 10 min gap

Kindly action is taken at the earliest. I have on several occasions complained .

From Ghatkopar to MHADA CHANDIVALI there is only 1 bus running 421. I want to suggest them that there is no proper frequancy is maintaining by them.In the evening time at 5.45 p.m to 6.30 p.m. there is no bus from MHADA CHANDIVALI TO GHATKOPAR I am requesting you please put 2 buses between that timing. I faced lots of trouble with best buses. some time i also argued with conductors regarding this, but they told that complaint about this to depo but i don't have that much time to go to depo after off hours. plz take some serious actions immediately on best buses. plz do feedback to my email id [protected]@rediffmail.com.

Dear Sir

I would like to bring to your notice that even after increasing the bus fares of tickets at regular interval the service and quality of buses running in the Mumbai are not adequate.

It is very dangerous & unsafe to travel in a BEST BUS which has brocken seats with big crack on the flooring of Bus.

I have attached the photographs of the broken chairs of Bus No: MH-01 LA.6349 running on the route of 298 between Borivali(E) station to Ravalpada on 6th Jan 2013.It is clear from the pics that BEST is not undertaking any checks for maintenance & repairs of broken chairs and seats.

They should ensure checking and proper maintenance of Buses before they bring bus on the road to prevent accidents and injury to the passengers.

service should start from Kanjurmarg station . No reportin g necessary from Hirnandani stop for First bus. As ther are many commuters from call centres early morning inbetween 5.30 to 6.30 from Hiranandani gardens, Best should give their service sharp @5.30am as usual done by other depots. I feel they are ignoring Hiranandani commuters, but we can not afford rikshaws at high fare, so prefer to go by BEST with charge of the bus. Bus route 427 has a bus service after every .30minutes, but the commuters only can tell you what is the frequency.
so In my opinion start more 602 and 392 bus services early morning from 5.30onwards or start a NEW route from Ghatkopar to Hiranandani Gardens, that will be benificial for the BEST. Please note that after making so many complaints also Hiranandani BEST Commuters probelsm has not been solved. We have a bus depo near Jalvayu Vihar for 602, but of no use. After making so many demands to start 602 @5.45am onwards also, first bus of 602 come to Shetty college stop @6.20am. Staff says they have to come to hiranandani depo to report. I feel no need of this. The staff of various distance can very easily come to Kanjurmarg station from where 602 starts and the bus increased rates also. One more bus route of 427 after a public demand started for Hiranandani commuters to go to Ghatkopar is just a nusance. Bus conductors and Drivers and supervisors and the in-charge Ghatkopar who relaesed the 427 buses from Ghatkopar always complain the same...We do not have staff and they have their own policy of start 427 bus anytime as they want. I have literally seen Drivers and Conductors enjoying throughly @Ghatkopar without given the
Increase bus services of 602 from 5.30am onwards. We @Shetty bus stop waits for any bus going towards Vikroli statioin or Kanjurmarg station @early morning inbetweeen 5.45am to 6.15am, but nowadays 392 bus service is also afeected because of new staff.Thje schedule of the bus service is same but staff changed made hiranandani commuters suffered very badly at early morning hrs, as ther is no bus during that time.
Please start 602 service from 5.45am onwards, as well as take supervision of 427 route as they are running at their own interests, and start more 392 buses from 5.45am onwards from Shetty college.

sir/madam, in-charge I am a A/C bus pass holder since 2.5yrs.I traveler from vashi gaon to bhayandar .you can see how I travel .7.30am 505 a/c bus santa cruz depot from their 707a/c bus.OR 503 a/c bus to sion depot from their C72 to bhayandar OR 592 a/c bus to sion depot from their C72 to bhayandar OR C53 to ghatkopar from their 388 a/c bus to poisar depot from their 707 a/c bus.It is good route for some shot distance pupils .I request to give direct bus to save time .524a/c bus is not used in morning hence 1st bus arrive at vashi depot 8.55am but it is good to others because mostly all traveller short distance.since I work in TATA POWER CO.site-work.All the way I have to travel from andheri to bh
ayandar site.I request again to alternate route or improve the service.from vashi their is no a/c bus to international or domestic air port .

Dear Sir/Madam,

Respectfully I like to bring to your notice the incident happened with me on 09 Feb 13 while travelling from Navy Nagar to CST. I tendered Rs 20. (2 notes of Rs.10) instead of Rs.12. to the bus conductor. The bus conductor asked me to give Rs.2 change, but I did not have change. He told me to get down from the bus. I requested him to return the balance money when he would have. But in rude manner he refused to give ticket and angrily informed me to get down. My 02 co passengers gave him coins and then I told him to return my change. In turn he returned my money and bull-sheeted and demanded for Rs.2 change which was not possible during running bus that I informed him. On demand from other passengers he gave me ticket. He did not reveal his particulars when I asked for. The particulars revealed from the ticket is mentioned bellow from which information may be deciphered (Hindi letters/numbers have been written in English).

DEAR SIR,

THIS HAS REFERENCE TO ROUTE NO.259 STARTING FROM Andheri Depot the best did not halt at Laxmi Indl Est.and when shouting the driver stopped the bus but the conductor asked not to stop the bus then while boarding the bus i was about to fall and the bus came nearly after 30 mins there is no frequency of the bus also when shouted at the conductor he said there was a vacant bus behind so i asked him to atleast update us that there is a bus coming from behind and the driver was also very rude he did not stop at most of the bus stops.

Bus number was MH02L-9868.

Please look into the same at the earliest or i will have to lodge a serious complaint about the issue,

I have traveled by Bus no. 4481, from Pratiksha Nagar Depot to Kalanagar on dt 09/04/2013 with ticket no.[protected] of Rs 12.00.I have paid Rs102 (100+2).Due to nonavailability of change, the conductor told me to refund Rs 90 later.But I have forgotton to take the refund Rs90 Please arrange to refund the same. The frequency of this bus in the peak hours is very bad and you are changing the timing of every & then which affects our daily schedule, even if you are changing the timings, you do it at least at the interval of one month. I have been observing for the last few days that bus comes in time for 15 days and then again the time changes or the frequency affects and it will continue like that for another 15 days. Please try to maintain the frequency of at least 15 mins. in the peak hours especially between 8.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. in the morning and between 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 pm. in the evening as there is no other alternate for this bus and we are totally depend on this bus. Otherwise please create some alternate from other routes i.e. buses coming from Dindoshi (Route No. 523), Andheri (Route No. 509) to Mahape, which you can extend up to L&T.

Sometimes I have observed that 2 to 3 buses comes one after other in the evening from L&T and after that there is no bus for another half an hour or for 45 mins. Please instruct your bus drivers & conductors to follow the timings and frequency so that the general public will not be affected and please note now the bus fare is also very much on the higher side, even after paying a very high fare, we are not getting good service from you.

Awaiting for your better frequency and fixed timings immediately.

I normally opt for Best no. 37 to go to Sitladevi Temple from Vakola and board from front door as I am handicapp. The fare from Vakola to Sitladevi Temple is Rs.12/- which I everyday ensure to keep rupees two change with me. Today I couldn't manage to keep rs.2 change and I gave Rs.20 to the conductor Batch no. 111, BEST Number 2192, 3.25pm. He refused to give me ticket and put me in dilema whether he is insisting me indirectly to get down of the bus or what? Yes... this guys are so afraid of coming in front to give the ticket even when there is no rush in the bus. I had to take ticket of rs. 15/- instead of twelve and he gave me ticket of Rs.15/- to be on the safer side. I donno but I saw giving him change to two passengers after my ticket. May be because he had to come in front for my ticket. Seriously this guys need to be trained and make them feel what he would have done in case in my place if his family member would have been travelling at the same. Come on guys, 3 rupees might be nothing for you but its really very valuable for me as I work very hard to earn that money. I donno what good will come out of this. Its upto you to decide now...

Travellers have to wait for hour for this bus plz increase the frequency from both the side

I want to bring to your notice that Best Conductor of sangarsh Nagar near Chandivli his number is 31675 or 31657 neither 75 or 57 don't remember exactly. but this conductor removes the public if we don't have change. every day I give him change but today I had 10 rupee and my ticket is 6 rupee from Chandivli junction to Oberoi Garden. I was paying him but he was rude and he made me get down from bus. According to Indian rule bus Conductors cant remove anyone nor they can misbehave with public. We are not criminals and only for such a Small amount .
They have change but they trouble the public. We are already in hurry as we have to rush to work and this conductors remove us from bus as if we are criminals. please take strick action against him.

I faced a serious issue regarding the best fare bus.
From IIT main gate to MANGATRAM CHOWK the fare is 10rs but the cunductor charged 12rs, I know its a matter of 2rs but its not about money, rather its about ethics and corruption. When I argued with the conductor he gave me silly reasons n later threatened me n forced to to leave the bus.
Kindly look into the issue.

Dear BEST colleagues,

You have given a press release about terminating AS-13 currently plying from Hiranandani Estate, Thane to Backbay Reclamation - a ride of nearly 50 kms. You wish to terminate this at King's circle and then introduce two more buses A-6 & A-7 to Backbay from Maheshwari Udyan from Nov 1, 2013.

It is terribly inconvenient for passengers to change over in Maheshwari Udyan and BEST is insensitive to customers who travel this long distance and have to change over. Imagine that central railway decides to end Thane trains at Kurla or Dadar and take a connecting train. Sounds silly. But BEST is hard of hearing customers' plight and it is only worried about serving as per their convenience.

Kindly ensure this decision is rescinded and the current service continues.

In fact by increasing the service from Hiranandani AS-13 and decreasing AS-1 will help both passengers at Hiranandani and Cadbury's largely. You have to look profitability of Thane services and not split between AS-13 and As-1.

Hi- This is to bring to the notice that bus route no. 309 has reduced frequency for the past few months. Fortunately, yesterday I got an opportunity to board this bus from J B Nagar and I checked with bus conductor yesterday and he agreed to it. He mentioned to me that this is happening due to reduced no. of available buses.
I request BEST to look into this matter immediately since this bus is very comfortable for people traveling between Western suburbs to Kurla.

the frequency of the buses like 205, 203 and especially 202 is very low and the crowd which comes on poisar depot between 12 to 1 pm is very high as many kids go to school in malad through this buses ...
so I request as a student of hsc too please increase the frequency of the buses
BUS ROUTE 83/84...frequency is very very poor please see to it and pl improve we have to wait for nearly 45 min daily to get the bus ...both the sides its the same while going and returning ...U say use publec transport if this way ur frequency is half the time i have to cab it up
