Hi,

I have applied for a credit card 1/05/08, and haven't received any kind of communication from the bank on approval / disapproval of the same. My & My friend Application no. AA 3474904 & AA 3474903. The bank reps confirm to deliver cards or respond on status within 12 business days, I have contacted the bank several times, but apparently none have clue about it apart from a vage answer that, " They will get back to us within 2 business days". All i have to say is please atleast confirm the cancellation of the process so that, we have a peace of mind.

I have applied for my Barclays credit card 40 days and more and haven't been reverted with any kind of an information or reply from them. I have submitted all the required documents including my salary pan card . Leet me know the status of my credit card, else return back the proofs and documents submitted to them. Barclays Credit Card — Amount Reversal Request 0522-2009

Hi,

Iam sreevidhya holding barclay credit card as of number [protected], I had a made a purchase for a amonunt of 34000 rs on march month and its due date was april 28th and i had made the payment in two options one through the balance transfer option the amount was 17321 and another thorugh the online payment was 16660 Since by mistake i made the payment a 15rs less of the acuatual amount but for that 15 rs when i recieved the may month statement a amount of 1895 was charged for it due to people think for 15rs outstanding a amount od 1895 is too much to pay, so i kindly request you to reverse the amount and i have to know how you people have derived this amount if i dont get a positive reply i very sure that i will forward this issue to the RBI and to the consumer court i have a voice recorded speech o[censored]r customer care executive in that she was not able to give a solution for my problem and she was not able to tell me how did you people derive this amount .

I am also facing same problem with barclaycard. They charged membership fee in aug2008.i applied to cancel that membership in sep2008. i called so many times to call center and mails to service desk.
at last they sended one mail in jan regarding cancelation .upto jan i paid minimum amout .
after that mail i thought my amount will reverse and i didnt make payment.but upto now they didnt reversed and now they r telling it is not possible to cancel.
they time passed 9 months to cancel.
now that amount increased 9, 000rs .they r not sended any vouchers regarding that membership.
what is the use of taking that membership ? and daily so many calls getting from third party .

Every month i am paying minimum amount .now i am facing new problem with ur CSC Financial services.
Last month one extutive from CSC financial services called me to pay amount 300 .
if i paid that amount i will get reversal but upto now no reversal .
the receipt no: 536351.(collector name : satyam)
excutive name : nikhil - [protected].
Today i got call from this no -[protected] .
That excutive question me why u paid that amount. is not effected in ur account.
that excutive (nikhil ) is not updated .
he is telling now if i paid 310rs i can get reversal of 7860.
if not paid my name will update in cbil .because o[censored]r problem why my name will update
that guys r threating me.
how can i belive that guys.
every month telling same story but upto now my amount is not reversal.

from last 9 months i am facing problem?

As i have made a purchase of Rs47160.00my due date was 25/3/09 on 23/3/09.I drop a chq. no 103280 of excellent co op bank in your drop box. but after 5days the chq was not presented in my account so i call your customer service no. They said your chq is lost so pls make a stop payment and issue new chq or give cash on 2/4/09 i made a cash payment receipt no c658185 dt 2/4/09.but again i was getting message on my mobile for payment so i call your customer service no. and i gave them full detail on same day they dabetait in my account on 8/4/09 Next day i got a call that your chq is not lost but it was out dated chq. from due date till 8thApril there was no call regardingmy chq.this is not my folt i made a payment on time.then why should i pay late fee charges and interest.
I request you to pls settle my account. and finesh of this matter.

I had recieved a call from Ms. Shabnam for a FREE credit card on 30th May 09 at 16:54 hrs on my phone and I had given all my personal details at the same instance. The booking number I got is AL 090528 YAT0283. Kindly trace out what happened to this request. Thanks.

Barclays Credit Card — Non Receipt of Card & Over due charges on the Same

This is with reference to my complaint pertaining to Barcley's credit card and the charges imposed on the same by the Bankers. As a matter of fact i have applied for the Barcley's Bank Credit card in the year 2008 and i haven't received the card till date and i am receiving the messages from bank that an amount of Rs.1, 827.15 is payable from my side. I tried my level best to contact the bankers and all my efforts are went in vain as the toll free no. pertaining to the said bank are not answering by any one. Am also receiving the threating msgs from the bank stating that this issue will take up to CIBIL. This is my humble request you to kindly look into the matter and do take necessary steps to prevent such things.

Barclays Credit Card — these people lack in doing their jobs and try and make you pay for their mistakes

This is Sameer Shah, I had got a Barclay yatra platinum card bearing a no. [protected], after I first used it for some shopping for about 1000/- plus their billing department was lazy enough to send me the bill for the same, for which I had to take pains reminding them of the same (if at all they have a system of recording the calls, you can verify it), and even after me doing so their lazy department people didn't find it necessary to send me a copy of the bill. in the meanwhile I had got the due amount on the phone and also the place where I had to drop the cheque, and did the necessary to clear the payment. suddenly their people got woken up by this and they saw that my payment was credited to the account and as per their absurb observations they say that my payment was a late payment( I don't know whether people do have a sense of responsibility at their end or they simply are paid for their foolishness). and since then they have become hyper active in giving me repeated reminders and calls for the so said late payment charges and fines etc.
And let me compliment these people (if I haven't done yet), on their so irritating services and so very annoying calls, that make them active only after a customer does the job that actually has to be done by them which they are paid for. You can imagine how favorable an experience it was for me to use my Barclay credit card.

Thanks to them anyways for giving me some work to attend their calls at a very disturbing time and to receive sms's at every odd moment possible.

Hope this email brings them a bit of responsibility and sense of duties to be followed at their end before getting into harassing the customer in every possible way.

And yes if they have got some time at, do verify the things that I have said above viz. date of delivery of the first statement, date of me calling their helpdesk, etc.

I want to put in on record that Barclays have the most pathetic Credit Card facility & service in the country. Their teams have been taught to only tell false things to their customers.

My card had been blocked by Barclay becoz my payment for the outstanding was delayed by a couple of days............& since then I have been fighting a long one sided battle with them. I have been talking with them to settle the card for the amount for which the card was used, &they have been asking for small amounts so that they can get an approval for the settlement. It has been almost 4-5months that I have been following up for the letter & everytime the email ID has been given to receive the letter, but without vain.

I wish someone would take the matters with Barclays with stern hand.

Somebody please help.

this is pankaj sharma i m barclay card holder my credit limit is 16,000. & my credit card no. is [protected]. sir problem yeh hai ki mujhe jab se main card use kar raha ab tak koi statement nahi mili hai but jab bhi mujhe ph. aata to main apni payment ka deta tha. but kuch din 07/06/2009 me mujhe barclay executive mr. punit ne ph.no([protected]) karke bola ki aap 6436 ki payment kardijiye aap ki settlement ho jayegi, (kyoki maine 15,000/- ka use kiya tha or main is amount se pahele min. 9000 ki payment kara chuka tha isliye mujhe ye amount bataya gaya) or mujhe bola gaya ki aap 15% 6436 ka pahle cheque de dijiye uske baad bacha hua amount cash de dena. maine unhe 10/06/2009 ko 1436 ka amount cheque no-887492 or baad me 5000/- cash on dated 21/07/2009 ko diya jo unka excutve mr. priyanshu lene aaya or recipt no. c921305 hai. ko cash payment de diya tha uske 1 month jab mere pass koi letter nahi aaya to maine mr. punit ko ph. kiya or kaha ki mere cell par baar baar barclays se payment ke message aa rahe hai to unhone mujhse kaha ki aapko letter aapki statement ke baad milega but merei statement ke baad bhi abhi tak nhi aaya. or aaj mujhe alag alag ph no se mujhe ph aa rahe hai or mujhe dhamki di ja rahi ki main apni payment kar do. ph no is parkar hai ([protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]) or mujhe mentally harezment kiya ja raha.
main aapko apni payment ki list de raha hoo jisse aapko pata chal jayega ki main kitna payment kar chuka hoo.
