Hi,

I have applied for a credit card 1/05/08, and haven't received any kind of communication from the bank on approval / disapproval of the same. My & My friend Application no. AA 3474904 & AA 3474903. The bank reps confirm to deliver cards or respond on status within 12 business days, I have contacted the bank several times, but apparently none have clue about it apart from a vage answer that, " They will get back to us within 2 business days". All i have to say is please atleast confirm the cancellation of the process so that, we have a peace of mind.

Sir,
have paid my (chamanlal) Barcalys credit card ([protected]) bill amoun of RS 10160 of due date 28-june 08 through dropping cheque with dated 24-june-08 in drop boxes. The cheque was cleared on 4july-08 and unfortunately I was got late charges on my next bill. The executive said that they cannt reversed as per bank policy as the payment was cleared on 4-july-08. He also confirmed that the cheque was received by the bank on 1-july-08 well before the due date (28-june-08) and it was clear on 28th, "I dont know why I was got penalty for there mistake".
ur service very veryvery very bad poor ur customer care excutive is very bad knowledge very poor. totally ur customer service a telling a lie all time. i have no recive my credit card statment last three month.ur departement continue late fee charge and every month. pls this comment not ignore.

Barclays Credit Card — not reversing the charges as i have cancelled scheme and pressure rising for payment as i have never used the card

i have a barclays credit card . they are charging me for the priorty circle scheme which i have cancelled
and there repersentive also assured me that if i pay the minimum amount due (i.e 290/-) in the first statement they send me, the scheme will be cancelled .but they are still pressurising me to pay the amount debited by them and sending me harras calls and can u believe missed calls from customer care numbers.now they r increasing this amount by charging the late fee charges and interest etc. i had also sent an e-mail to the service desk to cancelled the scheme but they didn't. so why should i pay them for what i m not taking from them .

Barclay Credit Card — No Response or Not able to contact

Hi,

I am using barclay credit card. but for the 4 or 5 months i am not received any statements(hard copy). Also i have requested to activate the email statement for me i have call to the customer care 2 times in a month gap. But no response. Also i have send a mail to [protected]@barclays.com there is no reply from them.

Now i have tried to reach barclay through their custumer care numbers 60004444, [protected]. first says the no not exits, 2nd also not working.

i have applied for a card after i received many calls from the bank, they only called up me and asked to apply
So i applied one month back, still there is no responce from their end, when i called up customers service no they told that the system is not working,

we are not a beggers to stay in before them for a card

its a shame on their part

I have Barclays Yatra Platinum Credit card .I done one transaction on sept month 6539/- and I paid all amount to Barclays and I got cheque recive message from Barclays also.But still i didn't get any transaction documents from Barclays after many phone calls.Yesterday I got message from Barclays about due amount.It's very poor service...

I have got call from Barclays regarding the Priority Circle Membership. they told my no. is selected for this facility & told me about 4type of facilities but they have not told me that I have to pay Rs 6000/-+ST for the membership, I thought that it is the free facility I am getting from Barclays, and later on I spoke to Priority Circle Membership call center & requested to cancel the Priority Circle Membership but they deny to cancel.So I am requesting to Barclays to please cancel the Priority Circle Membership.

Dear Sir,

I have received your mail but the thing is that when I tried to make the payment through your barclaycard & it declined and thereafter I made the payment by cash then why i need to pay for that declined payment request. Just answer this simple question. Let me make you clear one thing that I am not going to pay any damn charges which are not due to me. You people are just harassing your customers over fake matters. Earlier when I requested for the copy of the chargeslip duly signed by me which should be present with you in case I have purchased from the store, you didn't provide that to me.I have got the bill of that shop and it clearly mentions that the payment was made by cash and not by card. Incase you people do not stop harassing me I will be forced to go to the consumer court and will use all these evidences in consumer court against your bank and will also claim damage charges for such mental agony caused from your mails and call.

I have too gone through the same truma for Priority Circle Membership. They sold me the offer in same strategy. They used to say that they will cancel the offer without any questions asked. The salesman discussion was;

First I will receive the document with the offer and all the merchant places where I could use this offer for the 30% discount for total life;

Second On my accepting the offer by sending the acceptance, then only I will be billed;

But it has turned out to be the otherwise thing; I got charged first; and still not received the merchant places till date; so I requested a reject for the offer by sending a mail much before the billing due date.

Since First week of Sep-2008 (date with in the 21days bracket) till today every week atleast once, I am making them repeted requests. I have even provided this information to their ombudsman the [protected]@barclays.com and even received a responce long back that they will look into this matter.
Till today the offer ; in all recent bills I am getting charged for both the offer fees and the charges on it.

If somebody has a success in getting the offer cancelled please send me details how to proceed ahead of posting the mails to the head services.

Barclays Credit Card — Un professional manner

Hi,
I made a payment of 7000 in the month of August 2008 and i havent made any payment till November & i said the Representative that i cant pay the money since its a month end of october, i gave them a check of around 2000Rs where as i have to make a payment of 1100, and the agent called his manger by the name Joseph and he started abusing me, i simply said that i am ready to face the legal procedure taken by the bank in the court and he said that they wont take checks instead of they demanded money to be given right away. its really pathetic.

Barclaycard — not received card till today

I have submitted all the required documents including my original card statement. Leet me know the status of my credit card, else return back the proofs and documents submitted to them. Barclays Credit Card — Reversal of late payment fee and the interest charged.

This mail is in regards with the reversal of late payent fee and the interest been charged on my card.
Let me explain the situation in brief and i am sorry if the lines are crossing beyond the expextation
My name is Anantha V R and the card number is 4339 xxxx xxxx 8904. I started using this card from 5th july 08 and the total out standing for the month of july was 44154.23 which was payable by 28th august 08.
Let me first admit to you that i never did get any intimation on the due date on my cell number or email or courier all these while.
I have never received my statements through courier or email till date.
Keeping this aside and getting back to the point i did drop 2 cheques in ur Jayanagar branch i.e in some photo shop drop box in 3rd block jayanagar for Rs 43000 and Rs 1200 which should have cleared my balance for that month.
In the month of sep i did cal your customer service agent to find out my out standing and i found out that my outstanding was 10600.41 and after explaining the situation your agent reversed the charges of late payment and interest and gave me a figure of 7653.84 to be paid.
He also informed me to pay that amount after the reversal takes place on the account, actually he meant 7-10 business days.
So as per his promise i did pay the amount 7655 through a cheque 15/10/08 which was suppose to clear my balance.
Now when i call your customer service i get to hear from them about the charges not being reversed and they asked me to pay a sum of 14697.87 which is very unfair from your part. Hence i request you to investigate on the recorded calls of mine and reverse all the charges on the card.
I did infact speak to Mr.Viral Sha and he was of no use for me. He was very rude in his response being a supervisor on the floor.
I request you to do this on a priority basis and get the things solved at the earliest.
Most Urgent !!!

Request u to please send me my statement through email so that I will know my balance due and accordingly do the payment before the given due date.

Barclays Credit Card — Late payment & Overlimit charges

I have deposited my credit card payment in 22nd oct. but thay update my payment in 7th. Nov. My due date was 1st of Nov.
Due this mistake, they charged me late payment charges and due late payment charges i cross my credit card limit. and they charged me again limit over limit charges.
