[Resolved] Barclays Credit Card — credit card status

Barclays Credit Card Credit card status Hi, I have applied for a credit card 1/05/08, and haven't received any kind of communication from the bank on approval / disapproval of the same. My & My friend Application no. AA 3474904 & AA 3474903. The bank reps confirm to deliver cards or respond on status within 12 business days, I have contacted the bank several times, but apparently none have clue about it apart from a vage answer that, " They will get back to us within 2 business days". I have applied for the Barclays gold credit card 50 to 60 days ago and since then i have not recieved any communication regarding the status of the same as whether card application is approved or rejected, because if that would have gone in wrong hands anyone can miss use it. I tried hard to get in touch with them however unable to. I believe Bank should take these issue in consideration and take the neccessary steps to avoid such activities.

Dear concern,

I am very disappointment with your services. My credit card number [protected] (barclays bank) which was payed till now but you people are charging me unnecessarily. I have droped the cheque on 12th Dec at the drop box (Savitri Market Sector 18) but you encash it after 17th so that i will pay charges & your bank will earn.

I am warning you deduct all charges otherwise i will go to consumer court.

I had applied for a credit card in the month of December, 2007 and the sales executive had mentioned that the same will be delivered within 15 days. I had completed all the formalities and I received a SMS on my mobile that the credit card will be delivered within a week. Till date I have not received the same. I had applied for Barclay's Credit card 2 months back with Barclay's authorities taking prompt steps to gather the necssary documents & personal background check.

But i have still not received my credit card after 2 months even after receiving a message that i will receive it within 21 days.

All my efforts to contact the Barclay Credit card helpline with no 6001 6001 have gone in vain as the above number is in working condition.

Please tell me the status of my credit card

They are always asking about the application number. But i had given my mobile number, my name and my full address. But they didn't replying me for this in a manner. Please do it fast and reply me it soon...

I got a message that my card is dispatch through blue dart
But till now i have not get my card and any call related to this issue from any one.
I had made some call to the customer care center but did not get the response.
