Hi,

I have applied for a credit card 1/05/08, and haven't received any kind of communication from the bank on approval / disapproval of the same. My & My friend Application no. AA 3474904 & AA 3474903. The bank reps confirm to deliver cards or respond on status within 12 business days, I have contacted the bank several times, but apparently none have clue about it apart from a vage answer that, " They will get back to us within 2 business days". All i have to say is please atleast confirm the cancellation of the process so that, we have a peace of mind.

The Bottom line is that nobody from Barclays Bank ever called me always the employees of Collection Det. from Gaziabad do calling on regular bassis with different Mobile nos.
I need Settlement so that I get Free from Barclay Bank but my concern is still pending, WHen I called Customer Service at Mumbai @[protected] than I get in touch first time with a Bank employee named Mr. RAJAT & when I told him everything abt the Gaziabad Collection Dept. than he is suggesting me why you listen him they will divert you by false commitments as never my compl. was forwarde to the Bank.
Yesteday I have a very hot talk ( he is using abusive Language ) with a man from Collection Dept. he don't tell me his name.
SO I am very much Dissatisfied thats why I havn't paid him last two bills B'coz I need Settlement
Tell me how to get RID OF THIS BANK.

Barclays Credit Card — non reversal of priority circle charges

Sir,
I am holding Barclays credit card for the past 2-3 months.I did not use the card immediately
as it was not necessary.I received a message after 3 weeks saying that my limit was reduced
with immediate effect.Later, on 21.11.08 my card a/c was debited to the tune of Rs 6000/- as priority
circle charges and service charges of Rs 741.00.when i requested the Barclays to reverse the charges
I was told that it is not possible to reverse it.Till today I have not purchased anything from the Barclays
card .I have been getting daily calls from mumbai and Chennai for payment of this amount, but
now with a late payment fee of Rs 700/- added to the earlier debits.
whenever I ask the caller to check the system and verify the txn, they say that the server
is down.

top of the cheaters, I don, t know why they came to this business
i have one barclay card since oct, 2007.but i have not purchase any other thing and payment through this card.but customer care person inform me that 7808=00 amount should be paid by me( for BARCLAY PRIORITY CIRCLE MEMBERSHIP) as soon as possible otherwise penalty will be consider.but when i did not accept any other above membership and customer care person did not inform me that above membership will be chargeable and i can cancel this membership within 21 daysafter amount debt from my card.then i will not be pay 7808=00 for above membership .they are regulary call me and harsse me and daily send SMS for payment of 7808=00.how it may be possible whenever i did not accept any other above membership then how can i pay 7808=00 amount .this is totally fraud .customer care person have inform me that they have telephonic recorded voice documents that i have accept the above membership and they inform me that this membership will be chargeable . this is totally fraud thing .i did not accept abopve membership and customer care person did not inform me that this membership will be chargeable.this barclay company is fraud company.and its customer care person is also fraud person .A lot of person cheated by this company .please help me regarding this matter as soon as possible.they are daily harsse me for above payment.

Barclays Credit Card — Harassement of the agents

Barcalys card have rowdies and goondas as collection agents and for no reason humiliated.
I personally had bad experience on the 21st Jan 2009 where two barclays bank collection agents harassed me personally using abusive language for their fault of inefficient payment s collection process which is almost non existent in chennai.

I have a Barclaye Credit Card. I have drop the Cheque of Rs.2500.00(Bill of abt Rs.2900.00)before the due date and get the message that they got my cheque and that was before due date. But after some day I got again the message that my cheque has been bounce, so I am charged an extra amount of about Rs1400.00. So i ask the Bank of which I have given the Cheque, they has to say that they had not received any cheque with that amount. So there is no question of bounce of my cheque.
So when i call to customer care officer they says that they cannot accept my request to Reward that extra amount and i have to pay that amount, when again ask they are not even ready to hear me. Now a day daily gettng a call of payment. And of these month which I have paid more than minimum amount and make them update also. Than also getting that calls and sms.

So please help me out to Make that extra amount Return back to me.

Dear Sir,

I'm very sorry to inform you that I did a blunder by taking credit card of your company of above no. [protected]

I have a habit of paying all dues on due date at once. I have never paid any part amount to any bank.
In Aug'08 I have paid all dues of at once by ch. and dropped in your drop box on due date. Next month when i received my statement i was surprised to see that you have charged me for late payment. When enquired in your customer care they told me that your system is showing that you have received the payment 3-4 days after the due date. She also informed me that sometimes there is some logistic problem in clearing the collection box and thus it happens sometimes and requested me to drop my cheques from next time 4-5 prior to the due date. I requested her to reverse the charges which she told will confirm with her seniors and do the necessary. After that I paid the amount due deducting the bank charges, charged by you and stopped using your card and inform the same to your customer care.

After that also i kept on receving statements and calls with adding charges on charges everymonth. I was pissed off with your this kind o[censored]nwarranted way of harrasing me. Then one day on 2nd Jan a lady called me from Braclays and told me she understands the whole issue and informed me that the card a/c. has become invalid she'll not be able to take any request and reverse the charges. She told me my minimum amt due was Rs.290/- and if I pay Rs.190/- to the executive she'll send, she can reverse my all charges and close the issue once for all. After resistance I agreed to finish off this issue. I paid Rs.190/- to your executive Mr.Sudhir Kr.Singh on 3/1/09 vide receipt no. C389176.

Inspite of settling above issue after receiving the money, to my utter surprise you have again started calling me and bothering me and now in a very different threating tone.

Today one Mr.Amol called me from your mumbai office no[protected] and talked to me very harshly and threatened me.
Though I was trying to explain him, but he was not bothered to listen and was only persisting that i should pay the amount. I wanted to speak to his senior but he refused bluntly to even disclose his name.

I know its difficult to understand the status as to whom your people are speaking over phone.I think you'll have mistaken me as a regular credit card road-side who uses the credit card and tries to run-off. Sorry to inform you that I'm a regular tax payer and law abiding citizen of this democracy. Please educate your staff to understand the opposite person and then react.

In this situation I feel helpless & cheated by such a reputed bank. I request you agian to go through your records, find out the truth and settle the issue once for all and PLEASE STOP BOTHERING ME FOR YOUR MISTAKES. I'm also lodging a complaint against you on Consumer Forum and forwarding this mail to my legal deppt. to deal with.

Barclays Credit Card — Not received strolley bag as per commitment

Dear sir/madam,

I am pursuing for the last 4-5 months for my strolley bag, but till date i have not got my bag. Every time I call to their priority circle no. I used to get false commitments only. This strolley bag is a part of the priority circle scheme which they have not fulfilled till date. In this regard, I am having a letter for delivering the strolley bag from their side.

Pls. suggest me what to do.
