[Resolved]  Bharti Airtel Limited — WORST EVER CUSTOMER CARE

I have been paying my AIRTEL dues regularly but have not been provided any connectivity since August'2007 .How terrible is actually BHARATI AIRTEL service you can gauge by kind of treatment they have given me even after payment of all dues from the mail exchange as I have reproduced VERBATIM :

I am left with no option but to write to you as the complaints section
in AIRTEL world through which I already registered a complaint failed
to do the needful. I am a executive working in Oil & natural Gas
Corporation(ONGC) at Mumbai and although my company has provided me
with a Dolphin connection(which is mandatory as ONGC is a PSU) I have
also had taken a AIRTEL connection with the subject number and an
last year which was activated on 28/03/2006. Since I had the DOLPHIN connection I rarely used the AIRTEL
connection . However whenever I tried to use the connection I never
got any connectivity and even if I got the same it was poor but as I
had the dolphin connection I thought I would try later. The status has
been the same even as of now. I admit that my payments made were all
delayed payments ,but the point is I made the payments but got no
service at all.Very recently I made a payment of Rs2423 through net
using credit card and presently my account is showing nothing as
outstanding. I did register a complaint on 03.11.2007 and a lady
called up on 06.11.2007 asking as to what was my problem . After
hearing from me the lady said that there was some payment outstanding
against me , after I told her that I had already made payment of all
my dues through net she said she would check up and would revive my
connection. I waited paitently thinking that probably the connection
will be activated ,but that has not materialised .Although my account
on net is showing nothing outstanding and status of my connection as
active yet I have no connectivity . The most ridiculous part is I have
already been billed for the period 08/10/2007 to 08/11/2007 for Rs
845/- without getting any service at all !! . Being the nodal officer
I expect that you will in keeping with the standards of AIRTEL will
check on what went wrong in my case and set things right immediately
so that I can start using the connection by today evening.

Dear Sir,
Thank u for the necessary actions taken. Yesterday evening I got a
call from AIRTEL from [protected] with a lady executive asking for
payment of my outstanding dues. When I told her that I had already
paid the amount through net the lady said that my outstanding amount
was still showing on her PC and that my net payment was not being
refelected on her PC . On my insistence she said she would check and
come back in 10 mts. That 10 mts never materialised and I had to call
her to know what information she had gathered as I had my information
ready . The lady informed that my payment had been made but did not
know that my connection was non-existent and confirmed that my
connection would soon be revived within 30 mts. However her
confirmation has not materialised in the same way as your confirmation
which was given some 4-5 days back though by a different
officer/executive of AIRTEL through mail. It appears there is truly
some seroius problem with the functioning of your "STRINGENT SYSTEM"
about which you are not aware of . At this point of time at 1235 hhrs
on FRIDAY 16/07/2007 I do not have any connectivity even at BANDRA
area (where I have brought the phone with ur AIRTEL sim as my office
is at BANDRA )& not KANDIVALI where you have mentioned that there is
some temporary congestion.I also I have been billed for Rs845/- for
08/10/2007 to 09/11/2007 . I am proceeding to Delhi on 20.11.2007 & I
would request you please do needful so that My connection which even
as of today at 1235hrs is non-functional (as the signal tower is
still missing) even at non-congestional area may be revived .

It is indeed surprising that you do not seem to have any details on my
case even though AIRTEL claims to have "stringent measurement and
control applications" in your system. However Since you do not have
any details I am enclosing scanned copies of my payment
details(Scan005) as I had made online through www.airtel.in. I have
also enclosed the scanned copies of the recent bill of Rs 845 /-(Scan
003,004) which is payable by 27th November '07 in which you have
billed me for the period 04/11/2007 to 07/11/2007 without providing me
any connectivity even after payment of Rs 2243.42 on 03/11/2007 on
line ref no.361129 Invoice no.[protected] . Now you have asked me that
you have not recd the latest payment and without that you are unable
to process my case and also require my address landmark etc which you
have very well in your records . Initially I had thought that I would
tender the payment of the recent bill of Rs845/- only after having my
connectivity revived , however then I decided to pay up to test how
good your system is in reviving my connection. I have paid Rs 845/-
online Ref No. 273417 and Invoice No. 68386229 today. I enclose the
foll details also even though you have it otherwise how could you know
about my bill :

How much u are concerned & how much you are resolving my issue I have
very well come to know by now . AIRTEL customer care has literally
done nothing since my first complaint I had made on 12.11.2007 to :

All the above agencies have been literally toying with my case and
sending the above message without actually doing anything. Even after
the current payment of Rs845/- on 17.11.2007 u have done nothing of
substance. It appears there is literally no control /no review over
the kind of work that the CUSTOMER CARE people are doing at AIRTEL . I
am trying to find out about the Senior Authorities at BHARATI AIRTEL
LIMITED HQ and when I do I will inform them how the MUMBAI division
is functioning.

THIS IS AIRTEL WHICH PRIDES ITSELF AS BEING ABLE TO REACH ANYWHERE & uses SAHARUKH KHAN as their brand ambassador!!!!

Bharti Airtel — Failed my registration before time and without any prior information.

Dear sir

I am a subscriber of Prepaid Airtel mobile connection. My mobile no is [protected], I have a Life Time Validity Connection, I am using this number since 2005. But at the moment Airtel is displaying a massage "Registration Failed" . They have not given me any prior information regarding it, I don't know why they did so. I have tried to contact the company many a times but they do not respond to me. I am using this number on roaming. I am facing a lot of problem due to it. It is going to lead me to some serious losses.

Bharti Airtel Limited — BROADBAND CONNECTION NOT YET INSTALLED

Myself Jaspal singh rawat R/o of 704 baba farid puri, west patel nagar, new delhi-110008, a month before i called your customer care no. 121 for a broadband conncetion and from there a executive came at my above address to show the plans related to the said connection and i sellected a plan about Rs 549 (Unlimited) for my broadband connection and on the same day on 23 of May, 2009 i filled a customer enrollment form for the said connection and paid him Rs 650 in cash for the connection, but till date i did not received any respond against that. The address in the form is "Bharti Airtel Limited 224, Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase-111, New Delhi-110020" the Customer enrollment form no. 1754294 and the person who came was Mr. Rahul, Cell no. [protected].The Applicant name in the form is "Sunita rawat" as the preiour connection of MTNL was in her name therefore they told me that the new connection will be issued in her name.

So, i request you to look into the matter and do the needful action against this .

We have (60 Flat owners) got Pipe gass connection in the month of January, 2009 and using the pipelinie
gass. But instead of our repeated reminders, we have not yet received the bills for payment. (only 10 flat owners got the bills. Remaining are yet to get the bill) Please note that if you send us the bill after one year, then it will be problem for us to make the payment. Hence arrange to take meter reading and send official bill to make the payment. Name of our building and our address as follows: Pls treat as most urgent basis.

I called Vivek in the morning after which he is not picking my call same with Pawan .I think Airtel appointed good sales people who r least bothered after signing the form and callecting the intial amount.Why do you need forms filled when you are not keen in even giving the connection.How many forms will you get filled with false promises and no after sales.



First impression of Airtel has not been good i can expect what i can expect after that .so would request you to refund my 500 Rs which i have given as intial amount.



There are plenty of telecom players in India you might be leading as of now with the way it is going i am sure you will loose your market share with incompetent dealers or partners you have.

Now the number has been deactivated. I enquired the customer care about the reason and I had the result as “door lock during the verification process”. During the verification I didn’t get any information from Airtel. Then I had second time verification from Airtel and I signed in the verification form. But I didn’t get my connection back. The verified person name S.KATHIRVEL from GOPAL AYYER AND SUBRAMANIAM CHARTERED, ERODE. His Mobile Number is [protected]. I am using this number for my own business. I am facing so much of loss in my business due to the unavailability of the number.
I am happy with the Airtel service and I want that back. I request you to reactivate my number either in postpaid format or in prepaid format for my business development.

Bharti Airtel Limited — No Refund on time

With reference to above mentioned subject, I would like to bring the matter in your kind notice that I had surrender my Airtel Postpaid no.([protected]) on 22nd of June 2009 and at the same time I had convert the same into prepaid and at the time of surrender amount payable by me is Rs. -1453.88(outstanding at Bharti Airtel Limited) and customer service executives of Airtel has given me the commitment that within 45 to 60 days (same is also mention in Airtel website)the outstanding amount will be given to you but today 92 days have been passed but there is no response of Airtel.Eeven after visiting their service outlets more than 10 times and whenever I called service executive on 121(Customer Care No.) they said cheque will be prepared soon, cheque is already been prepared and delivered soon, call me after 15 days, now they said that cheque has been already delivered. so if the cheque is delivered than where is the cheque even still I don’t get any cheque from Airtel.
i m seals man . my distributer offer me i give u 10% discoun on easy lapu . i think its profit for me . i say ok i want then he gives me 50000 blance . ( distrebuter name is tanver) . 2nd day .my easy lapu svaped and conver it main distributer 2 our name . Bharti Airtel Limited — Cheating for new number activation

I am currently using Airtel prepaid service. My number is [protected]. Three weeks back (Around 20th October), I was contacted by an Airtel-executive (Ph: [protected] and [protected]) for some new offer. The new offer was on a postpaid sim so I needed to take a new sim card. I agreed for the offer and then an Airtel agent visited my hostel. He gave me the SIM and took my documents along with Rs. 600, as was discussed with the executive on the call. I was promised that within a day or two I would be called for the number activation and other processes. They did contacted me for a few days but number didn't get started. When I tried to contact them, their number generally were unreachable. Even when the contact established, they didnt used to pick the call. Very few time, they picked it up and again promised me to do the processing within an hour but nothing of that sort happened.
Then I visited Airtel website to look for some official feedback and contact link where I got an email id ([protected]@airtelindia.com) for such complaints. I contacted them on 28th of October after which a series of mail followed and in last I was again assured in the mail itself that I will get their reply by 3rd Nov 2009. But the reply didn't come. I again contacted them on 5th of Nov asking for their ignorance but I have not received anything till now. It should be noted that whenever someone sends a mail to [protected]@airtelindia.com he receives an acknowledgement and a message that he will get contacted within 24 hours. I always got the acknowledgement, so I am sure they have started ignoring my mail.
I see it as a case of cheating the customer not only through their executives and agents but also by giving false assurance over the web-domain and in e-mails.

BUT I RECEIVED MY BILL ON 12 TH OF OCTOBER INCLUDING 1500+RENTAL =2314.00

Airtel — Poor connectivity since September 2007

Poor connectivity exists at & around Manubar Chokdy at Bharuch, Gujarat. Repeatitive complaints were of no use.
On omplaining to the Airtel Customer Service (121), they keep on talking about the upcoming new booster station since 2 years. The problem is becoming pathetic day by day & all complaints have fallen to deaf ears.
i dont want a paper bill the bill shld be sent to my E Mail ID
1. On dt.10.12.09 I recharged Rs.68/- for power plus of 1 year in Airtel.
2. Subsequently I got a message that same facility is available on same date for Rs.38/- which was previously Rs.68/-.
3. If 38/- is the actual value of the power plus then how Rs.68/- is also the value of same.
4. I complain more than 5 times to the Customer Care Executives to return my Rs.30/-
5. Non of them solved but denied to confess the mistake in procedure of Airtel management.
6. If Rs.68/- powerplus is closed and Rs.38/- is active, then I could have get my talktime of Rs.68/-.
7. Is it fair for a company like Airtel to exploit the cunsumers like this.
8. I request to return my Rs.30/- as my talk time.
9. It is found that Customer Care Executives are disconnecting the Phones without solving the complain.
10. Even then they are making some tricks in their system so that it is not possible to contact them.

Please consider my case fairly.

Bharti Airtel Limited — Misguade a customer's

Dear Sir,

My Name is Ravi Soni and My mobile number is [protected] and i hear a Scheme in airtel Customer Care Number ( 121, 12131). (airtel is not mention this scheme for some selected customer's and recharge after you will get the massage for airtel side) in this scheme you will recharge on Rs.78/- and get 1 paise STD or Local in airtel network and 1.2 paise in other networks and get Rs.70/- Talk time so i recharge on Rs. 78/- on easy recharge on 13/12/2009.
But the scheme is done and my talk time value is Rs. 0 so i will call to customer care executive and tell my problem to Mr. Deepak - Ref No is [protected]. Mr deepak is guide me to please wait for 24 hours the scheme is update and your balance wiil reach to you but after 24 hours my balance is Rs. 0 . So i again call to customer care executive and talk to Mr. Upendra & Ms. Veena so he and she misguide to me and tell me why are you recharge it because this scheme is not for you. so my question is this if the tool free number 121 is speck the scheme for all customer's freely and with out any condition so who will be responsible for the mistake. Ms Veena is tell your problem is solve after 24 hours second Ref No is - [protected] and your Talk time value will get back to you.
I request you to Bharti Airtel Limited dont misguide to the customer's and solve my problem.
