[Resolved]  Delhi Jal Board — Excess Billing

I have a water connection K. No [protected] and connection no 5277.
This connection in my smll office and the consumtion showing in the bill is not posibile at all in a office. I made compalaints many times but no action has been taken by Delhi Jal Board.

Dear Sir,
We have been billed without adjusting the previous payments.
Efforts made by the Resident Welfare Society are in Vain.
Details are as under
Bill no 129908 dated Oct 18, 2008 for Rs. 916/- includes Rs. 581/- as arrears which were paid vide ch. no 827695 on PSBank and cleared. Payment made for remaining amount of Rs. 335/-
Next Bill no 219627 dated Jan 1, 2009 for Rs. 271/- includes Rs. 46/- towards late payment charges of the previous bill. This bill paid for Rs.271/- inclusive of Rs. 46/- vide cheque no 327029 dated January 27, 2009 and cleared by the PSbank.
Again next bill no 264950 dated February 26, 2009 for Rs. 447/- includes Rs.285/- ( 271+14 late fee) that also paid vide ch. no.117382 on March16, 2009.

A total of excess money paid is Rs. 46+271+14= Rs. 331/- for which no adjustment made by the department.

We request for the adjustment of the same in our next bill.

Sir please provied me of water bill july 2005
Even we are facing excessive billing problem. FOr some who are using water day and night watering their plant the bill Rs.800/- and for us who use a lot of discernment the bill is Rs.10, 000/- is there any logic in this bill.
We are in Sarita Vihar.

I am the single family and Govt. Service employee. having only water connection for domestic use and always paid my due bill in time. Now I got the above said bill in which only 82 K.l. consumed and the amount is Rs. 1992 which is wrong. Further it is mentioned that categories is C-IA w.e.f. 22.04.2010 whereas my categories is C-I , I cannot be able to understand why this categories has been changed. Is it at the sweet will of the meter-reader for not paying the bribe amount or something else. as the water is only used for domestice purpose.

1. Bill no. 335442 Dated 17/11/2011 for amount Rs. 367.00 Paid on 07/12/2011 for the period of 05/05/2011 to 27/09/2011 reading 28 points
2. Next bill no. 399971 Dated 10/02/2012 for amount Rs. 346.00 for the period of 05/05/2011 to 30/12/2011 reading 77 points IInd bill are unpaid & current date 28/02/12 reading 100 points
please check both bills & please correct.

I have obtained a computer generated water bill for payment amounting to Rs.1, 70, 868/- having no signature of any issuing authority as well showing Meter Status/Reading N/S It is further added that we are only 2 family members i.e. myself & mywife both Sr.Citizen & Retired living here. The bill has been given for the period 1) 26.03.2012 to 07.06.2012 (73 days)= Rs 65593/- & 07.06.2012 to 17.09.2012 (102 days)= Rs 1, 60, 542/- which are very much on the higher side. Earlier, , date of Reading 26.03.2012, Meter Status O.K. vide bill No. 939539 dated 07.04.2012 was given with Meter Reading 201 units, amounting to Rs.300/- under the computerised signature of Sh.D.Verma, Director (Revenue) Jal, which was paid by me accordingly. estonishingly the current bill is very much in the Higher side, whereas current Meter Reading is 548 units. My KNO. is [protected]. You are requested to look into the matter and arrange to issue a revised and correct bill under the authentic signature of the competent authority to enable me to make the payment.

We are getting unusual unreasonable bills for our water meter. We are only two members in the family and both o[censored]s working. Still we are getting bills more than joint family bills of water meter, which is not possible. Please help and get our meter checked and rectified. We have already paid huge amount for water billing and still paying, which is not justified. Earlier with our old meters we were not getting that high billing and now our bills are almost four times than the previous meter bills.

Please get it checked and help us.

I am senior citizen, 85 years old, staying alone in DDA flat. I have received a bill of Rs 17000 in June as against average 500 per month.

I had been calling DJB - Lajpat Nagar, for last 7 days, but in vain. I got Mobile no of ZRO Mr Kamla Hassan, but he is postponing every day saying tomorrow he will attend. Finally I called Zhandewalan and got grievance no. [protected], but do not know when problem will be resolved and I will get revised bill.

Sewage Control

There is a sewage problem in Block E-2 Pocket-1 House no.-26 Sector-15 Rohini. We had reported this problem earlier but no action was taken. Kindly resolve this problem as soon as possible.
