Ishita Chakrabarti 2a/1 Ashutosh Chatterjee Lane Mahesh, Serampore-2, Hooghly Pin-712202 20.04.09 Chief Public Relations Officer Passengers Grievance Redress Cell Head Office, Eastern Railway Koilaghat Street Kolkata-700001 Dear Sir, Unhygienic and dirty ladies compartment full of cockroaches Train no: T83 from Howrah to Tarakeswar I am a student of Presidency college (B.Sc1st yr) and travel daily from Serampore to Howrah. While traveling on 20.04.09 in the above mentioned train unfortunately I found numerous cockroaches everywhere in the ladies compartment crawling and flying making it so hard for the passengers to even sit or stand in the train. It’s a shame to state, but they were so many in numbers, even more than the no. of passengers. I am afraid to travel for the cockroaches. I feel you would consider the matter seriously. In the circumstances, I beg you to take some action to clean and disinfect the train compartments if any system therein to make it comfortable for the passengers to travel. Dear Sir,
we are new delay passenger from Durgapur to Howrah...
I am calling to your enquiry counter Burdwan, Durgapur they not pick up the telephone...
after 6/7 time calling they pick up the phone and wrong information tell me...
So Sir, please tell me what i am doing...they always tell wrong information...
my question is monthly allow which train????...Answer is we don't know...
Sir please open then Coustomer care cell 24 hrs online helpdesk...

We were travelling from Jamu to Howrah on 19th Dec in Sleeper class. we would like to bring to your kind notice that the coach we are travelling was not matching the standard of train like himigiri express.there are no proper toilet cleaning was mess no attendent.specially toilet are not usable. what you required when travelling long at liest clean toielet and clean bed but nothing was up to the standared of the train. you are requested to consider these thing in these kind of trains.
