[Resolved]  Eureka Forbes / Aquaguard Water Purifier — No Maintenance Service

We had taken an AMC for our Aquaguard for two years. I understand the person who was doing the service till last year, has resigned and no body has come in his place to do the service for our Aquaguard Water Purifier this year. The AMC is valid till June 2010. The last service was due in June 2009 which has not been done so far.

forbes water purifier — no response from your service agent

i bought forbes water filter from QRS, trivandrum 8 months back.I called your service people here in trivandrum many times and they dont even bother to attend to the complaint .I am calling them for the last one month and they dont respond to my complaint.What should i do now

19-05-08 regarding my Eureka Forbes compact cartridge aquaguard not working & requiring service. Today is
27-05-08 and nobody from Eureka Forbes has showed up to repair the problem despite my repeated calls.I love the line... "someone will be coming by today or latest tomorrow" but its been 8 days now. I find the careless response sad for a large corporate & I think its absurd that it would take so long to fix the problem. Its hard to keep from getting irritated but they place all this emphasis on their service network, service centers &24 hours/365 days reachability but what difference does it make...I still have no water to drink after 8 days.

Eureka Forbes — Reinstallation service not provided

I purchased a Aqua guard from Eureka Forbes last year. I recently shifted to a new house and called the help line to place a re installation request for my new house. the help desk people talk so good and everytime i call, they will tell person will come in 3 hours or maximum today. but that today never came.
my complaint number is 1117.

i cannot get it fitted from some plumber bcoz they are not sure of the filter chnages and other things. i'm not sure how i can make this people come home to fit it.

Eureka Forbes-Aqua Guard Water Purifier — No Service by Eureka Forbes

I registered a Complaint on 02 Dec 2008 Vide complaint No. 80785090 for providing service for Aqua Guard Compact Water purifier. I was promised that the service would be given within 48 Hours.

I am posting this on 09 Dec 2008 & till date I am deprived of Service.With various reminder calls to the Call centre[protected], I have spoken to different people, explaining my issue again & again. ( It's more painful to explain the case from starting to everyone at the Call centre- They will start with "Sir, your address is... & end with "Sorry Sir", when they come to know that they haven't given service).

Everytime during my followup calls, I used to pesture the call centre Guy to elevate this complaint to thier higher-ups or give their Contact nos. At last I was succesful, in getting the contact nos. of Mr.Chinnadurai, Servive Manager & Mr. Jayaprakash, Head - Chennai Operations . They did'nt pick-up/reply my calls, when i called them.

I donot know, where to go with this kind of service levels.( Should I go to hell or heaven). The clear outcome of my experience is, if you buy Eureka Forbes Product, you are at their mercy & Eureka forbes will not provide you service when you are in need of. Buying an Eureka Forbes product is subject to Service risk. Beware...

Eureka Forbes — non-installation of aquaguard

DearSir,

on shifting from bilapur to bhopal, i contacted the bhopal office to install the aquaguard at my residence. The local office was prompt enough to depute its service engineer to install the same but he informed that an installtion charge for INR 250/- is to be paid. i requsted him to give the bill/receipt and if not availabe come next day with a proper bill. he assured me to come next day with a bill and install the aquaguard. i have no hesitation to pay the charges if supported by a proper bill. The aquaguard has not yet been installed.

I am delighted to inform that the servicing of my Aquaguard was done next day .i.e., 10th July 2009 by a person deputed from the company. However, they are yet to replace the cylinder which is supposed to have been done two years back. The person promised that he would do that in a couple of days but till date it is not replaced.

I purchased Aqua gold nova almost 02 month before, even after contneous followup no one has came to show me the performance of purifier, whether its working properly/notor else quality of water after filtration
continued followups with marketing Mr. Atish ( navi mumbai), but no one has time to listen to satisfy customer

We had taken an AMC for our Aquaguard for two years. The AMC period is from 10.08.08 till 09.08.2010.Till date np body turned up for candle change even once after one yera of AMC period.We have lodged complaint but unfortuntaely your service response seems one of the worst.It was excellent few yeras back and it has degraded to lowest possible ratings now days.

I am a consumer at Rourkeka anf request to intsruct your service office immediately to do the needfful.

i am staying in mayur vihar phase 2 .i purchased inova in april 2007. initially it was working properly.
when i changed candles of purifier in dec 2008 after 2 months only we observed that water is not purified as taste was same as that of normal tape water . then i complaint and a service engineer came who told us that candles were duplicate. we puchased new one from him at cost of 900 round abt. in may 2009.
its now only four months . now again there is problem . when complaint they told us that coming water is not good .whether we will have to pay huge amt every time . no gurantee of parts. we really fed up with the service. everyday people call us from various DSAs . we don't know to whom we have to rely. so that we continue with them for AMC. how v can come to know that candles r original or not.

Eureka Forbes — aqua guard not working since july 2009

The euroka forbes has collected the AMC amount of rupees 1300.00 for the maintenance contract on 25th july 2009 promising that the carbon percentage will be brought to nil by changing the candle and neccessory accessories. The receipt no of euroka forbes is 17174296 dated 25th july 2009. On every complaint they promise that it will be done in two working days,but no action is beeing taken. i am forced to purchase the drinking water of 60 rupees a day to save my children .
euroka forbes is careless in maintenance. This is shame on their part that a person has been penalised for 1800 rupees per month to provide drinking water to his children.what should they eat?

I reside in vadodara I had complained to ur respective agency PANDYA SERVICES but there has not been any sign of action for atleast 4 days before that one there service man came but instead of changing the candle & carbon he did a mess by decreasing the water flow level. please do the needful.
I booked a Iron remover on 30th March 2010 and handed over an A/c payee cheque bearing No-017887 dated 31.12.2010 to your sales representative Mr.R.C.Das.But he has not yet been supplied.Several time I have consult to him and also nearest service centre to Mr.Sudangsu Srichandan but nothing about the materials. Kindly please see in this matter seriously for installation the same to my residence.My contact No- is [protected].

Eureka Forbes/Aquaguard Water Purifier — No response to serve the long standing customers

I am one of your old customers.I regularly renew annual contracts and it is due to expire only during Nov 2011.I returned back from Australia after 3 months vacation.Australia in the southern hemisphere is cold and when I landed in Chennai on the 7th Aug 2010 and the climate was very hot as usual.Next day ie., 8th August I requested for service to my Aqua Guard which was not working and the red light did not change to any other colour which means the unit requires attention and service.So to meet my immediate and urgent demand of drinking water I sought my neighbours help and it is now 12th August ie., even after 5 days no service engineer cared to visit me.My complaint Number is [protected] dt 08/08/2010 and my customer id is[protected].Everyday ceremoniously I used to remind the Customer Care and service centre.Incidentally the service centre is virtually at my very next door physically.I am unable to understand why the guys are not responding to attend a customer.I am a Retired Senior Citizen.Eureka Forbes care over phone to customers are looking sweet and caring but result is nothing.I am planning to cancel my annual contract and go for some service minded any other brand.Or I will ask my children to send a Brita Unit from their countries where I do not need Eureka Forbes any more.May the the company is in the outsourcing method by which no one cares for anyone.I am using Aqua Guard ever since it came to market in Tamilnadu and of late the service is highly deteriorating.Until now at 4.15 pm today no one has come.I am highly displeased with this company of late.
I also suffer and hence I do not have any hesitation to agree fully.
Frivolous

We have purchased Acqua Guard Reviva model for Rs.9900/-on June 30th, 2010(in the name of R Vasumathi). It was supplied by sales rep.Mr.Purushothamman of Burkit Road branch of Chennai. At the time of marketing, we were explained about the product by the above Rep. and Mr.Senthil Kumar, Sales Manager. We were promised by both of them that as sales promotion, we would be given a nice gift which would be supplied within 10 days from the date of receipt. It is already more than one & half months' over, both the sales rep. as well Mr, .Senthil Kumar did not bother to keep up their words. Further, the old machine which was to be taken away by them has not been taken so far inspire of several reminders.
On the date of installation, the sales rep. after testing the quality of incoming water, had initially delivered one box containing Acqua Guard Reviva with Nano filter as clearly marked on the packed box.
However, when the machine was about to be installed, the same sales rep. came with another box containing a Reviva with RO filter and had taken back the machine originally delivered. When we questioned the reasons for change of machine, he tried to explain to us with filthy, frivolous and funny reasons i.e. he had brought somebody's machine earlier and now he he was supplying the machine in his name. He further explained that this machine had also contained that only Nano filter when it was pointed out to him that it was written on the box as RO with bold letters. I painfully regret to say that such act of the sales rep. does not sound that he belonged to a reputed firm. It means that the firm does not bother about the health care of the customers. However, the person in charge for the installation who did the job next day stated that it was only RO filter and for our water quality only Nano filter was safe. We have been getting the same qualify of water consistently. Since the water was very bitter in taste, we had made compliant in the customer care on line service. After making four days, 30th June, 2nd August, 3rd aug & 5th aug, . one gentleman Mr. Sakthi very casually inquired about the history. He also felt that it was bitter in taste. However, he told that the service center had nothing to do with such complaints and we had to contact the concerned salesrep/sales manager. The above sale. res rep. after supplied the machine, had barred our numbers from his mobile and never attends our call. With great difficulty, we could contact the Sales Manager Mr.Senthil Kumar about a month back. Every time we contacted, he used to promise that the gift as promised would be supplied immediately. We have contacted so far about 8 to 10 times r both for the quality of water and the gift promised by him and for taking way the old machine as well. He does not bother and does not care us and always gives very vague reply. He has stated that the sales division has nothing to do with the water taste and only service division has to attend. Precisely, both the divisions playing blame game within them at the cost of sufferings of the esteemed customers, in case eureka feels the value of customers. We regret to say that the sales Manager has also barred out numbers and does not want to attend our complaint. His behavior is unbecoming of Customer friendly executive of a reputed firm. We have not been even supplied with a cleaning liquid which was to come with the box. Though we informed about the same to the Sales manager, he did not bother. He has scant respect for the customers.
Since we are fed-up with this hard drill for the last one & half months right from the date of installation, we have been seriously considering to move the Consumer Court for redressal of our grievances and for breach of trust. In fact, my co-brother who is also residing in our apartment who has also purchased the same machine about 2 months back, suffering because of inaction of the reps.of the firm. I will also be addressing a letter to Eureka separately under Right to Information Act under which it is mandatory and obligatory on the part of the Eureka to reply to each part of the question asked for.
Hope my entire complaint would be read between the lines and a reply would be sent to me.
