Sir/Madam,


I had ordered for a paper cup machine from HAIROONTHAI GROUP Agency and paid Rupees two lakhs on 23/05/2011 through Demand Dradt . As per the condition of the firm the will be delivered within 30 to 40 days. But the agency did not delivered the machine and cheated to me since last 9 months. At last I had made a complaint through Indian Consumer Complaint Forum . Dew to intervention of Indian Consumer Complaint Forum I got Cheque for Rs 2 Lakhs from the firm vide Chque No : 382349 dtd 7/01/2012 and the amount credited into my account on 13/01/2012 For this act of kindness I am very thankful to your forum.
I had paid room rent for nine months and I had borrowed one lakh rupees from a person to paid the agency during May' 2011, for which I had paid 3% Interest. Accordingly I requested to the firm for compensation, but they refused to paid compensation to me.
So I humbly request to your honour kindly convey your openion weather I am elegible for compensation if so advice me further course of action in this regard.
An early reply and opinion is awaiting from you.

I had made an order with Hairoonthai groups, No.7 Mahalakshmi street, Velan Nagar, Valarasaravakkam, Chennai – 600 0087 (near good shepherd school) . PH:[protected], 32931020, 24866227 web : www.hairoonthaigroups.org, emai : [protected]@yahoo.com For Paper Cup Machine and paid an advance amounting rupees 1, 00, 000/- through ready cash receipt (enclosed) Dated 06/10/2011 in accordance with tearms and conditions the firm will be supplied the machine within 45 to 60 days . But so far the firm did not supplied the machine. I am canceled my machine booking order (dated 10th April 2012) from hairoonthai groups and received the post date cheque (cheque no. 448298, A/c. no. [protected], Syndicate Bank, Valasaravakkam, Tiruvallur – 600 087) on 31st October 2012 the amount of Rs One Lakh only.

We have received cheating information of hairoonthai groups from persons whose facing problems meet with them. More than 11 months is over the firm has return back my advance with my compensation. I am facing lot of problems mentally and financially. In view of above, I humbly request to your honour that you may kindly look into the matter and kindly help to me, to my advance amount with my compensation, from the above firm.

CHENNAI: A businessman who defrauded more than 70 depositors of more than 1 crore after claiming that he would procure paper cup making machines from China for them was arrested on Wednesday.
Police said Jaffar Saddiq Basha of Velan Nagar, who ran the Sunshine Business Group at Alwarthirunagar, took out advertisements in newspapers and on the web claiming to procure paper cup making machines at a cheaper price. Orders began pouring in and he took 2 lakh each from several traders in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka . He told them he had visited several parts of China and struck a deal with a few businessmen in that country who promised to give him the machines at a discounted price.
However, when Basha neither returned the money nor got them the machines, some traders lodged a complaint with city police commissioner J K Tripathy.
Basha was nabbed at Alwarthirunagar . Police said Jaffer earlier ran a firm called 'Hairoonthai' and used a similar modus operandi to cheat several people before renaming the company "Sunshine Business Group" to evade being caught.
