[Resolved]  Homeshop18 — sending wrong goods and now undue delay in refund of amount

Friends,
non refunding of amount against order company failed to supply

i had done online booking for onida mobile (product code-G480) costing Rs3699/- in Nov-Dec08, by online booking the product and paying the cash on delivery of parcel by courier TNT ( DO[protected] ww )on 18/12/08.
but on opening the parcel i was shocked that Homeshop18 sent me inferior mobile model G-460 costing Rs 500 less and still charging me for the ordered product. With great difficulty they agreed to collect the parcel without me having to pay the courier, as it was mistake on their part, subsiquently i again approached customer care in FEB2009 on their toll free nos to inquire why they are not sending the correct product, every time they apologised for the delay but did nothing to solve the issue. After multiple follow up they agreed that the correct product is not available and that i will receive the refund cheque of icici bank made on 4th april 09 within 7 days, and that the said cheque will be delivered by registered letter of indian post. However till date 06 may 09 i have yet to receive the refund letter, in spite of phoning them again and again.
my advice never SHOP WITH HOMESHOP18, or be prepared to pull them in consumer court to claim the refund money with interest + various phone expenses if you have the bills + legal expenses and for the mental torture thus suffered, since that is the only option the company has left for me to exercise

the various complaints registered by homeshop18 customer care are 777478 then 1020963 on 4/2/09 then 1458105 on dt 4/05/09 and may be many more to go...

Nokia — undue delay in repair of cell phone

Sir, I purchased Nokia N73 during July 2008 from one of auth dealer. The phone was having software bugs right from begining . Frequently it went on hanging and sometimes it switched off authomatically. Finally it became non functioinal on 20th Aug 2008 and even did not switch on. I deposted the phones with HCLNOKIA care centre at Greenpark, New Delhi on the same day. On checking the phone it was told to me that the phone is having software problems and there was no hardware defects. The phone was kept by them with Job Sheet No.[protected] according to which it was expected to be repaired by 23rd Aug 2008. Since the day I deposited my phone with the care centre I having been trying to contrat with their help lines but of no avail. There was only option to know status by way of sending SMS. I have sent a long of messgages from the date it was to be delivered but each time it is intimated that the phone is under repair. Even I went to the care centre on 1st Sept 2008 to know the reasons of delay but alas, they could tell me only that the set is in Noida and they are not aware about repair status. When I asked them to provide swap as per their terms and conditions but they showed indifference. It is beyond understanding as why they are delaying in repair for such a simple defect and what is the problems with their help lines. I have been embrassed by the care centre from the service they are supposed to provide. The way these care centres are working, they should be re-named as noka careless centre. Please help me to know the reasons of delay, expected delivery or availablity of swap.
NOKIA IS SIMPLY WORST. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A WORST CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE.

dvd player — Ignorance of customer care

Hi,

Iam P.Arunkumar from Coimbatore.We bought a DVD home theatre with 5.1home theatre in Philips Arena Coimbatore.On 12.11.08 system was taken to authorised service centre of Philips Network Associate Philishops Philips service centre. Ashoka plaza, Dr.Nanjappa nagar Coimbatore & have received a irresponsible answer from the service engineer over there stating that it will take atleast 20days to inspect the product & to analize the problem against.We have given for service and nearly 15days over but not even a single problem was short out and the response was very poor.Iam really disappointed that I have chosen a product from the non responsible customer care company.I feel very unhappy on this response since the engineer takes such a long time to inspect the product.Now a days each and every consumer durables are taken atmost importance towards customer services which I feel you are out of fit.It makes me not to buy a product from Philips and also it makes me advise my friends not to go for Philips.

i have buy dvd player it not function it setp is changed in the mode it is systemstep or menu step or changed or strekp so come see this player clesr this promblem . buy dvdplayer sence 2006 so send mechanic and very soon

Nokia 6300 — Delay In Repair

Dear sir, i am kulveer singh, i have drop my cell at nokia care for display problem on 17th march.09, the estimated time of repaire was 25th march.09, as on estimated date i have visit and found that the display has been changed but the problem wasn't rectified, then again i have drop my cell for the same problem on 25th march and they assure me the repare at 27th march, but till now they havn't the same by saying the non availibility of the parts from the company. Hoping this may help to send this complaint to the right person for the needful.

india today promo — sending wrong goods again and again

Dear Sir,

we have received replacement of 2 items which we sent back before 40 days. ref your invoice no : ORA[protected].
Again in this invoice you have sent reebok shorts of L size ( which was returned by us to replace with XXL size ).

i do not understand what kind of organization is yours, after so many follow ups on telephone and mails every time we have been told that material is delayed to get the corrects size and again you are sending same faulty size? is this a mistake of your useless people or you just want to ridicule a genuine customer who paid advance money on trust of Brands like REEBOK and INDIA TODAy ?

As i Know India today is a book store and if you can not cater customers in a proper manner why you are doing these kind of promos? customers are not free to send back you faulty goods at their cost and then keep on following it us. HOW CAN A BIG BRAND LIKE REEBOK IS SPOILING THEIR BRAND IMAGE WITH PEOPLE LIKE YOU?

I am quite annoyed with your responses and this time I am not free to send back your faulty material at my cost again . I will request you to send one reebok short size XXL immediately within a week or else i will have no option to go to court of law.

I had purchased a 8 MP digital camera and after receipt of the same i found that it is not of 8 MP it is of 2 or 3 MP max. After that i had immediately called the home shop 18 customer care and lodge complain for refund and they have assured that they send the refund with 15 days. But now it more than 3 months have been passed but i had not received the refund till date. I had personally called to customer care daily twice but i am not receiving the proper/conviencing reply. My service complain no. is 1322969.

we purchase a DVD player of intex modle no.R-195 by order no.[protected] on date 1869.After 1month this set take a problem i.e stop playing disk after some time. from your inquery off. we took a no. of intex care service center M/s.Kansal computers in sangrur 148001 (Punjab). But they said that it has not proper paper seal and refuse to solve our problem.They said you purchase it directly so we can't help you.

This is in reference to order No.[protected] dated 20/7/09, sub-order No. 71467317, account No. 74099 towards purchase of SpyCam Pen with AV recorder SPYPEN 4GB (Code MY7-SPYPEN-AMS-4).
The above-mentioned item was delivered against cash payment on 30/7/2009. Unfortunately, this item has gone out of order on 12/8/2009. I made complained on 13/8/2009 for non-functioning of the SpyCam on phone number [protected] and I got reply that the concerned engineer will attend the problem with in 2-3 days. But, no response was there. On 20/8/2009 again I contacted on the same number; they gave me another contact phone number [protected]. As per discussion on this phone number, (7.27 PM on 20/08/09), I was asked to send back the SPYCAM for replacement to HS 18.
On 21/8/09, I again made a contact to HS 18, they asked me to send back this item for replacement to “AMS Exporters (AMS Online), Shop No. 5.1.750/7, Hari Das Market, Bank Street, Koti, Hyderabad, 500001”. They also gave me courier Phone No. [protected] to collect this item from Bikaner. But, this courier company (TNT) bears no office in Bikaner. Again I made a contact to HS 18, they peoples asked me to send the SPYCAM by any courier from the Bikaner and to mail the courier receipt for getting the payment.
As per advice, I am dispatching the SpyCam to above-mentioned address and the receipt will be sent to you for claim purpose. I here by request to replace the item at an earliest.

I had online booking of the product code no. 353-74 the mobile set. The order no. is[protected] and I recived the product and pay the 6000/-Rs. on dated 19.8.09. But When the open the product as mobile then i see this mobile is totaly chinees set. In this set one seem port is not ready for work and not internet user as GPRS and 3G BSNL and not any parts sold at patna. So this Mobile set is unsufficiant for me. Please I request to yor for your agreement you return my mony and i send the set.

Nokia — Delay in delivering swap/ repaired handset

A Nokia handset model No. 6300 col- Black was purchased on 17th of May 2009 from Prapti Telecom (Camac) (Nokia priority)Bill no 510.
Some starting problem was faced on 5th of July 2009. The handset was given for repair on 6th of july 2009 at Anand International Behala (Nokia care).
Job sheet No[protected]/090706/138. The delivery date was 7th of July 2009.
the set suffered a major problem so it was sent to Delhi. They demanded for 15 days time to repair it. Which they failed to meet again.
Complain no -1-[protected] was given but there was no response.
On prolonged followup I was issued with a swap hand set which was 6300 col-red/silver. I denied to take it for the change in colour.
Since then even after constant reminder i have still not recived my set.

Nokia 6300 — delay in delivering

i had given my nokia 6300 mobile phone to repair at Gandhibazaar nokia care center in Bangalore on 3|9|09. It had a problem connecting head phones. i was told it ll be delivered in a week. Then they said they require a week more.Now they say they require four more days. They do not intimate us of a delay instead we have to enquire about it.

Home Shop 18 — Not receiving free items

Dear Sir,

I Have Booked one Handycam Worth Rs.5000.00 from HOMESHOP18 through telephone(ORDER NO.[protected], when they give advertise on tv they commited that they will give free 2 gb sd card and Rs. 500.00 gift voucher, but when i had received the parcel it is not found, when i asked their executive on phone they will simply asked that ok we will see. I am continuously send them mail but there is no response. Please do the needful.
