HSBC Credit Card — HSBC Complient

Hi All,

I used HSBC credit card in Oct 2007 did payment before due date, payment got deducted from my Bank account but not creidited to my credit card account. In my next statment that amount was there in outstandings, when I called Coustomer care they said there may some misunderstanding we will do the needful, but they didn't did that till feb 2008, I called every month after statments. That outstanding amount was showing unbilled, with late payments & finance charges they added every month. Finally they added the amount but didn't reversed the added amounts on me.
Now I am not using that CC since March 2008, they are keep on sending me statments with more late payments & fianace charges, which I am not suppose to pay, as I did payment on time.
I did called many times but customer care people are so rude, they just hang the call without telling u correct solution for the problem. Even there is no physical point of contact. I went bank with written complete, they said there is no one in bank to reply ur credit card related queries.
Please suggest what should I do about this.
Sir,

In addition to this, i received the last statement stating that my credit limit has been decreased from Rs 60000 to Rs 46000 without any prior information.
I even would like to inform you that a policy named LIFE STYLE TATA AIG was declared against my name without my consent, after that i called the customer care but they were unable to help me .

HSBC Bank/Gold Credit Card — Creating faulty credit card statements every month

Myself Dayananda Srima, my credit card number is [protected].
I had purchased Rs 144000. Out of which I have requested to convert 19000 into 24 EMI's(One EMI = 976). I need to pay EMI as Rs 976 plus Rs 125000( plus HSBC added many other charges) by 13 Jan 2009. I have requested HSBC customer care executive to convert Rs 125000 to EMI's in the 10 Jan 2009. They said that its not possible to do it now. You need to do this within 25 Days of purchased Date. I didn't get any call from HSBC that we are going to convert your amount into EMI's. So I thought of paying Rs 125000 by 13 Jan 2009. I was unable to arrange Rs 125000. I have deposited Rs 49900 on 12 Jan 2009 and Rs 77500 on 12 Feb 2009.

Now in the Feb 2009 bill saying your amount 125000 has been converted to EMI's.
I'm not bothering about any thing. I know how much amount I need to pay. I will ignore subsequent credit card statements.

I never ever seen this kind of cheating in any other bank's.Every month statement contains around 25 to 30k more than actual amount. This is completely unfair and unreasonable. HSBC deserve to be penalised for their careless atitude towards their customers. Many people complaining this bank.
Please do not believe HSBC and don't use HSBC credit card. This toooo worst and worst Bank. Cheating and Money making idea in HSBC. We need to call every month and ask them to revert unnecessary entries made in the statement. And also there is no proper responses and convinced answers from HSBC customer care executives. You cannot concentrate on your work. Always frustration with this bank.
If you use HSBC Card even after reading this message, I can not help you. Once you face the problem and come to know that am in trouble because of this HSBC card.

Take care your self.
Dayananda

HSBC Credit Card — Credit card statement unavailable still bill created

I am supposed to be a previlege Platinum Card holder of HSBC - my credit card number last digits are 0420. I recently was promoted from Gold card to Platinum in January. I have been requesting HSBC for the statement of my bill for the period of December 08 2008 - Jan 10 2009. I have been speaking to them since January 9th 2009 for this purpose. I spoke to HSBC Customer Care (hyderabad) atleast 30 times so far.

This is a list of people I spoke to - Philip, Archana, Sandeep, Sampurna, Das, Jaysuli. I have all the times and dates of these calls. Then I also spoke to their supervisors - Guru and Lavanya - who both promised to get the issue resolved and call me back. They wanted me to TRUST them - and I did but I was wrong.

The issue still is not resolved and these guys seem less to call and inform. I even spoke to Guru's supervisor - but seemingly HSBC has no check on how people perform or accountability of their employess. Sad but true!
I have been given an add on card in the name of my wife, Mrs. Archana Sahay, card No. is [protected]. The card has been used and I presume that the payment date may be approaching. but till date I had not received the statement. I had also tried to make the payment online, but could not find any site for the same. Please forward me the statement at the below address and also details of the different payment mode available to the credit card holder to make the payment. Please reply immediately. I do not want to default and pay penalty.

Dear Sirs,

I have been a victim of CIBIL and banker highhandedness but decided not to take this lying down. here is what i did to improve my cibil records. the CIBIL is not a public enterprise yet behaves as one. some one needs to bring them down and file a PIL against them

As a background I had a dispute of a transaction with a bank credit card. this continued for 8 years and they finally closed the account since they were unable to answer my letters (they had not delivered the credit card to me and yet charged me for using it). upon closing the account, they malafiedly updated my cibil records to show this as written off overdue amount.

All my loan and new card applications started to be declined and then I realized what had happened. I could not afford these credit issues so I decided to settle with the credit card bank (despite them having closed the account) and under protest so as to clear my name in CIBIL. I asked them for a settlement proposal. they asked me to pay 30k towards the alleged 1.5 lacs (including interest that had accrued).

1. After I settled my dues with the credit card company, I pursed them for two months both on the phone, email and written letters every few days to update my CIBIL records. They finally stopped answering my calls and still did neither zeroize the account nro udpated CIBIL. infact I restarted receving credit card statements again with interest and service charged accruing once again

2. I lodged an FIR agains the bank and the guy who had proposed the settlement stating cheating fraud etc. and not delivering what they promised in their own proposal despite my depositing the cash.

3. I lodged a complaint with RBI

4. I lodged a complaint with RBI ombudsman - www.bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in and followed up repeatedly for about 2 months . finally this settlement made around nov 08 showed strains and BO rbi invited me for a meeting with the bankers in March 2009 after 3-5 months of this issue.

5. the bankers stated in the meeting that typically they mention Written OFF as the cibil status on all settled accounts, the RBI OB almost slammed the banker and said this was wrong and they need to mention that the account has been settled and also remove my name from all defaulter lists such as MCNF . they are also to provide a zeroized statement withen 1 month of the meeting

beware that the peons at the RBI BO are in deep pockets with teh bankers and they will dissuade you from attending the meeting stating that your cibil report is as it should be after settlement "written off". donot accept that and meet the secretary and the cheif of BO and state your issue.

you WILL be avenged as BO might levy penalties as well against the bankers

HSBC Crdit Card — Access Amount charged in crdit card

i had a crdit card of HSBC since 2006 in my current month they have charged me 820+ extra which i have not supposed to pay when i called up there customer care for the clerification the customer care executive is unable to explain the same and disconnect my phone it happens twice (28th march at 4.10pm)and i can not find the way to resolve this issue this is a clean cheating with the customer nothing else.
i am not receiving statements regulary. inspite of complaining many times the thing is not taken seriously because of which i had to pay late fees thrice. kindly take the matter seroiously or i shall return the card back

HSBC Credit Card — False amount debited on card

Amount of Rs.342 was wrongly debited on 2nd April on my HSBC credit card for vendor INOX Leisure Ltd. Pune. The worst part is that I was not even in Pune at that time for when the charges were put. And the bank is not ready to listen and verify it. And bank is not ready to resolve it.

HSBC Bank Credit Card — Annual fees on lifetime free card

The mention bank issued me card telling card is life time free. They also gave me receipt mentioning card is life time free. Now the statement shows, they are asking for annual fees. Also the charges in statement are meaningless.
Then is it cheating customer or not?
Thanks
