[Resolved]  HSBC + Tata AIG Gen. Insurance — TATA AIG Policy

I Mukesh Kumar, hold a HSBC credit card. Before four or five months HSBC customer care executive called me and refer the TATA AIG Gen. Insurance plane, than arrange a call from TATA AIG. He told me that time, sir pls. review this policy for two month. If you are not satisfied, cancel this policy at a time. In review period we have deducted 10/- rupees for each month from your credit card account. After the review period TATA AIG will call you for continue the policy or cancel it. But I didn't get any call form TATA AIG and every month they deducted around 329 + service tax/- rupees from my credit card account. When I contacted with HSBC customer care, they provide me a TATA AIG contact number and told, sir pls. contact on this number, they cancel your policy immediately. But nothing will taken care. From that number I got another toll-free number whic is out of serivce.

Before 7 months, I had a call from TATA AIG GEN INSURANCE MUMBAI.They said that they will send their documents with details.If I will agreed then only I signed these doc & we will start the policy.But uptill now I don't recived any doc and "without my permission and without my sign" they have transacted 7 installments from my HSBC credit card.

Now its total overdue ammount is = 7 inst.+OVERDUE (near twice of 7 inst.)

When I called to TATA AIG customer care, they said they will cancel my policy and they will returns only installments.
But what's about continiously increasing overdue amount?

When I call HSBC they ask to call to TATA AIG and vice versa.
Means while they will cancel the policy, overdue amount will increase trimoundasly.

So imiditely cancel my policy and return total installments WITH OVERDUE AMOUNT.
I am swarup holding HSBC credit card.I am first time using this card.One day the customer care person of hsbc called me and told me pls sir do this plan and hsbc will pay for u i[censored] are not interested then give one call to TATA AIG before 15 days and just tell "pls cancel my insurance plan" they will cancel u don't have to pay anything.
Now i told to TATA AIG but they are not doing anything as HSBC is deducted 4355 rupees from my account.SO what can i do.These peoples are playing with words only.
I am asking to HSBC manager is this the wright way to build a relationship with customers ?
What do u think how many days u will play with customers?
I want my money back, its just 15 days before i told TATA AIG to cancel this plan.HSBC should take care this.
Other wise i will issue a case against HSBC.and i will tell all my friends to cancel HSBC creadit card.

Yes Tata AIG General insurance turns out to be a big fraud company. Please Rember never to give credit card information to them. If you have complaints and no action is taken from any insurance company you can go to Insurance Ombudsmen. Today I received a call from HSBC(TEL No. [protected]) stating that Rs.6186 is billed in your HSBC statement. Looking at similiar cases of other people I think HSBC and TATA AIG is playing with peoples money and totally frauduelent.

I am a HSBC credit card Holder, 2 months back I received a call from TATA AIG GEN iNSURRANCE AND HSBC, telling an issurrance policy. They told me that it will be free of cost in the first month and I agreed. I did not received any documents from them. finally I told to cancel. But Rs 705 is deducted from my credit card account this month . I want to cancel the policy immediatly. Please give me the contact number and person name. I do not want BSNL toll free number. Please advise to cancel the policy

I send the sms to 58888 no response and latter I called the customer care and informed to cancel the policiy. a lady talked more than 5 min to persuade me to not cancel the policy. finally accepted to cancel after verifying the details. but they have deducted the amount from hsbc credit card account. people should beware of this looter
Same thing happened with me. I have not yet received any policy for review and amount is being charged on my HSBC credit card.
No one is ready to give solution, kicking the complaint from HSBC to TATA AIG. Really BAD Service by HSBC and TATA AIG.

Tata AIG General Insurance/ Maharaksha Policy — Deducting money from credit card a/c without informing the customer

Hi,
This is Ayan Chowdhuri(policy no:ITMR[protected] and BTM[protected])an software employee of Capgemini Consulting India Pvt Limited, as I am not satisfied with the terms and condition of the policy, So I want to get my money(Rs 7048)back.
It has been told to me there will be a confirmation taken from me after dispersal of the policy document(ie within 14 days), but its very unfortunate to see that without taking any permission from me, an amount of Rs 7048 has been deducted from my credit card.
Its very unfortuante to see that this things are happening from a such recognized organization like Tata AIG Insurance.
So I request you to please look into the matter and do the needful things ASAP.
Also asked TATA AIG to take steps against the agents who are doing this kind of fraud things in telecall and missleading the customer.

The attitude and the way in which the Tata Aig is working is really to be condemned. They call and tell something and do something. This is very bad and needs to be escalated for sure. They should not play with customers like this. The similar things happened to me too. they were repeatedly calling me from many days and finally i agreed for them to send the documents on the condition that i will be either taking the policy or rejecting the same(on 100rs) based on my interest in 14 Days. But i didn't wanted to have that policy and hence called them and told them to cancel the policy after 4-5 days and on..but they didn't took any interest in canceling the same[may be intentionally] and then they are telling that they will deduct 25% percent and all. upon arguing they were asking me for any proof/phone recording done for the cancellation...
Apart from this, they sent some more policies even though i have not agreed for the same, i am not sure whether they have somehow mentioned those policy names while in call...This way of fooling the customers is very bad. Please anyone let me know how can i proceed in getting the justice...?

Hi Friends,
The people from tata aig may call anyone of you anytime and ask you that they will be sending some documents, good policy, ultra super coverage, you can cancel anytime with zero charges and all..
I request all of you to kindly not fall in these type of traps. They wont cancel the policy and you may have to continue the same by paying the money...Please be careful.. and please help your friends by telling that not to fall in these type of traps if they are not interested in these policies.

HSBC Credit Card — Selling one accidental policy by TATA AIG and then not cancelling it.

HSBC sold me one TATA AIG policy for which they said I need to pay INR 10 in the first month and then INR 700 from next month.The customer care number provided by them does not cater to the policy provided to me.After sending few sms also they did not called but instead I got a call from Bombay selling me another policy.When requested that kind person forwarded my call and I got a call and could cancel my policy after 1 month.

Now, for first month I was supposed to pay INR 10 which I paid as my account was containing some INR 16.But these people billed me INR 700 for next month even though I had cancelled the policy.I called HSBC customer care and they gave me one TATA AIG number which again was not catering to my policy.I called HSBC customer care and they said they'll look into it and I did not pay anything.

Now in this month's bill that INR 700 has been included along with late fine and taxes making it INR 120.I called HSBC customer care and they said they'll look into it.After 10 days I called them twice and they disconnected the call when I asked to talk to their manager so I've been forced to lodge the complain.

I also faced similar situation. I received a call from telecaller who described the details and features of policy of Maharaksha plan. Then he asked for my personal details. He told me that they are going to send documents of policy at my address and I could go through the details and thereafter either I could opt for policy or I could reject the policy. I was given a time frame of 12 days to accept this.
Once I received the documents, I reviewed it and I didn't like the features so I called on TATA AIG customer care and asked for cancellation of policy. The Customer Care executive acknowledged by saying that I'll receive a call from cancellation department within 48 hrs which never happened.
I again talked to them and again they replied the same. Few days later I received SMS on my mobile that first installment has been deducted from my account. I was astounded to see that message. I again called Customer Care and then they told me that period of 12 days has expired so policy cannot be cancelled and if I go for cancellation then I have to pay 35% amount of policy and they also told me that they do not have any track record of my previous request for cancellation.

So I continued with the policies (me, my sister and mother) with no choices left. I felt cheated as this is kind of fraud where you are cheating customer.
Even worse they don't provide the receipt of installments.
Now every month I've to pay EMI through credit card (HSBC) .

HSBC Credit Card — Deduct Insurance Premium without my Information and No proper response from Customer care

I am Saikat Das.My Mobile no is [protected], I am from Sec 23A, Gurgaon, Haryana.
A HSBC credit Card Issued for me on last week of July 2008.
I had received a HSBC credit card First week of August 2008
I swap the Card First time on 15th of August 2008, so expected first Credit card statement will come on first week of September 2008.
When I got the Bill on September, I become Surprised that Late payment Charges(Rs:400), Finance and Service Charges has added to my bill and also Repayment Protection Premium has Deducted Two times on 30th July and 30th August (total 505.62x2=1011.24 Rs) .
I have no idea why this type of Premium has deducted. When I called to Customer care, they told me that at the time of application for the Credit card I have signed a Insurance policy of Tata AIG, so that this premium has deducted. Where as I did not do any such Sign regarding this and no Call also come from Tata AIG for this Insurance..I Requested them Please send me a copy (Hard copy/Soft Copy) of that Singed document. After verification I will submit the bill. They agreed to send me such copy with in four days by post. But now around four months over I have not received any such document. Mean while I have called number time to customer care. But every time they said me different things. And the month of January 2009 the amount become around 1700 Rs. They just credited me the late payment charges of every month. But no action regarding the premium amount.

Please help me as early as possible, The amount will increase every month.
1.Why Insurance issued and Premium has deducted without my Knowledge before I received the Card?
2.If they have proof that I have Signed the policy, so why they not sent any such copy to me for my satisfaction as I know I didn’t sign anything?
3.Why they don’t sent any certificate of the policy REPAYMENT PROTECTION PLAN. (I canceled the policy when I got the statement after two months)?
4.Why customer care people giving me different solution of same problem and delayed the situation from four months?
5.Why they not sent me the Statement of July in my Gurgaon address or inform me regarding the statement?
