I took a insurance on march and till now I have received neither documents nor phone calls insureance. But promply the amount is cut from my ICICI card. Even I've tried so many times to reach toll free number i am unable to contact.
I want this policy to be cancelled or some one should call me urgent on[protected].

YES this company is real cheat ... The way they react is even worst.
Even after the timely intemation to the customer care the monthly installment is deducted from my account and now they are trying to offer me other policies instead of cancelling the product.
I will insure that I bring it to RBI's notice and both the companies will realise about their fault.
we can choose the following paths
1. District consumer court of respective area.
2. RBI --http://www.rbi.org.in/Scripts/bs_viewcontent.aspx?Id=159 for needs to be filled
3. Complain to higher authorities in HSBC-- http://www.hsbc.co.in/1/2/miscellaneous/grievance-redressal
If any one finds higher escalation level contact details in TATA AIG please let us know about the addresses or contact details.

Today, I have cancelled 2 policies (Cancelation against new extra benefitial policy which clubs the benefit of these 2 policies) using the number provided by HSBC. Also taken new policy from TATA AIG using HSBC Credit Card (I liked the plans). Here with TATA AIG Toll free number .. [protected], [protected],[protected]... Actauly for cancelation you have to call TATA AIG only...
Same problem I have faced (deducting amount from my Credit Card without confirmation).

I am having the same problem. I make a call to HSBC Customer Care and request them to cancel the TATA AIG GEN Insurance. But they give me a number to contact TATA AIG. There they told me that with 3-4 hrs you get a call from TATA AIG regarding your probs. But still I can't get any calls from them.
Somebody help me on this. Kindly let me know, if anybody refunded their amount? I totally disappoint with these type of services from both HSBC and TATA AIG.

But their[protected]/55 or 28479400 was not reachable. the toll free no. was not reachable and the message was 'This Telephone number is temporarily out of order" for both the numbers.
I have already been charged the bill by HSBC with no policy in hand.They also never called me even after an SMS to 58888 as told by them.

Through this forum only I got another number, which led to TATA AIG. He said it will take another 8 to 10 days for the documents to be delivered, and also told me that the person who called me for conversion of Criticare to Maharaksha policy, the person is wrong and wanted to sell the policy.
Now waiting for the papers. If this time the papers do not reach I shall cancel the policy.

I also hold a credit card with HSBC. i havent got any statements nor any receipt from TATA-AIG for policy amount.
I was not aware of the policy at all but HSBC declare that dey are paying TATA-AIG.
NOw they are charging 7k.
I dont knw what to do.

even they r not bother to contact me again to get the form filled,
they did their job, just to cathch d customers & get the monyhly deductions...

TATA AIG- HSBC forcefully selling plicy without disclosing the details of the policy. Once cancelled over phone, 3-4 EMI they will charge by saying sorry for not proper registering the complain. It is funny. We should all cancel the Credit card immediately. I am certainly going to do it. It's very bad service.
HSBC is dwindling its responsibility and playing cheating customers and will cooling send off an email by automated system, that "Please note that HSBC credit card is only a Pay channel to Tata AIG Insurance. Please contact Tata AIG on the Toll free number[protected] to process your cancellation request. You can also send SMS.-ASSIST to 58888 or an email to [protected]@tata-aig.com"

you. Our records reflect that the insurance policy was debited to your credit card, based on your approval which was received by TATA AIG over the telephone." BUT THEY DONT SHARE THE RECORDED CALL ON WHICH THEIR HSBC/TATA-AIG personnel clearly says consent will be taken after 2 months and before charging Rs 329 third month and onwards.Till now both TATA-AIG & HSBC both making money on customers cost by methods of play cheat on customers and will never reply.

This is completely fraud. I have request for cancellation with in 14 days (through mail and customer care no ). they suppose to cut only Rs 99/-.
But I get a call from TATA AIG after 20 days they are saying the cancellation charges are 25%.
Don't take any polices from TATA AIG( or any ) without proper information.

Dear every complainant of Tata Aig
can anyone imagine that the name of Tatas would be asso. with such bull ?? AIG and HSBC are old Rouges and best part is that nobody has dragged them to court? or put any police complaint? or any other legal channel. If there is any one who has done so then let us know sothat we can all join together and teach these buggers a good lesson

The worst thing is that while canceling the policy they deducted 25% of the money. It is completely cheating. So if you are receiving any call from TATA AIG never give them the credit card number. Otherwise you will also end up with sharing your bad experience in this blog.
