[Resolved]  HSBC + Tata AIG Gen. Insurance — TATA AIG Policy

I Mukesh Kumar, hold a HSBC credit card. Before four or five months HSBC customer care executive called me and refer the TATA AIG Gen. Insurance plane, than arrange a call from TATA AIG. He told me that time, sir pls. review this policy for two month. If you are not satisfied, cancel this policy at a time. In review period we have deducted 10/- rupees for each month from your credit card account. After the review period TATA AIG will call you for continue the policy or cancel it. But I didn't get any call form TATA AIG and every month they deducted around 329 + service tax/- rupees from my credit card account. When I contacted with HSBC customer care, they provide me a TATA AIG contact number and told, sir pls. contact on this number, they cancel your policy immediately. But nothing will taken care. From that number I got another toll-free number whic is out of serivce.

I had taken policy but unable to connect customer care from last one month Master polciy no[protected] please help me
I have a very similar experience, as that of Mr Mukesh Kumar & others. I hold a HSBC /TATA-AIG policy, and for the last two months, I am not getting cancelled my policy, I have spent a lot of time in tel call with their customer support but no responds .I too have the same plan that to take them to consumer's court.

HSBC & Tata AIG Insurance — Insurance cancellation + HSBC Acct debits

I have been HSBC customer since 8 years. Fabulous service. But this tie up with Tata Aig has left bit sour taste, as I took this policy only due to my relationship with HSBC. Now after I took the policy, came to know that same policy was being given to my friend with lower premium, so tried to cancel policy, wherein HSBC just advised to contact Tata Aig. In Tata Aig, was routed from one dept to another, and could cancel policy only after I took another one wherein was promised that this one was better since it was handled by another dept. Now after recent AIG debacle in US, wanted to cancel this policy too, and am still trying to cancel this policy through that number given by HSBC but without success. HSBC too is debitting my account regularly, and wont stop debitting till Tata Aig orders them. Strange.HAte to close my HSBC acct + cr card but dont see a choice, when every month I see my hard earned money being debitted with me requesting HSBC to put a hold to these auto debits to Tata AIG, who are nothing but taking us for a ride. I cannot imagine the plight of the poor person who will go for a genuine claim in case of any misfortune.

This plan is horrible. I wanted to cancel it and i am calling them since april but they are just not cancelling it.
Please help guys.
I recd a call from TATA AIG to get the Insurance policy for 2 months on the cost of Rs.10/-, but when after 2 months, I called up for the cancellation but the Toll Free is not working it responds as Incorrect Number,

So kindly help me to access the TATA AIG persons to cancel this Policy.

To whom so ever, please be note that, my policies of Health insurance were made effective on 10/09/08 for the policies ITHC[protected] & ITHC[protected], FOR WHICH I RECEIVED CONFORMATORY SMS that the relevant documents were couriered, but till date i have not been received any documnets. Requesting you to look into the above & to clear.
you all persons are totally right...this tata aig are bloody cheaters...don't give them your credit card number..or anything...they will not pay you the money in case of reason you insured for..they will not refund you if anything happens..they are cheaters..in my case also, they are not refunding me the money from last 1 month and every time i call them, they told me that within next 7 working days ...they will do it..but they are cheaters..they exec. use your credit card and cvv no. and do the shopping after long time when you forgot it..

Tata Aig Insurance — Not cancelling my plan after repeated complaints

TATA AIG cancellation number: 723302, complaint number: 6191119

I wish to notify that I have sent request for Tata AIG cancellation two months back. I have made a re-complaint to them for having charged me once. They were supposed to credit my HSBC credit card balance by Rs. 530. They did not do that and instead once again charged the same amount to me.
For your reference;

I am ready to sue Tata AIG, but no way am I going to pay this (petty) amount again.
I was put into this Tata AIG mess by HSBC only. Now I request you to kindly clear this mess.
Once again, I AM NOT GOING TO PAY A SINGLE PENNY IN FAVOR OF TATA AIG.
If required, I can even get my HSBC credit card cancelled, I don't want it.

TaTa-AIG+HSBC — Not getting my Policy Cancelled

I Sumit, hold a HSBC credit card. in last week of september 2008 HSBC customer care executive called me and refer the TATA AIG Gen. Insurance plan, than arrange a call from TATA AIG. He told me that time, sir pls. review this policy. If you are not satisfied, cancel this policy at a time.We will be cancelling the policy in a single call. At the time of deducting money they debited it from my CC immediately. After getting the policy i was not satisfied and i called them for the cancellation of policy. i kept on calling and they kept on assuring me that we will call you within 24 hours..within 48 hrs..within 1 hr and so.. But I didn't get any call form TATA AIG.
This is purely a cheat business.. Please help

Hi, my name is surya palai, I have registered with IRCTC, then I got a popup window regarding the tata Aig insurance of 60 lacs . means you have to pay for 2 weeks for 10 rupees each, after that they will deduct around 709 from your credit card.
already they have enrolled my name . now I want to discontinue with this policy .. Can anybody help me. this is my initial stage .. otherwise I have to block the credit card.. I dont want to continue this process..
its an Tata Aig policy ... even I was trying in website to see the online policy of tata Aig, but I couldnt find out any information from this policy .. please help me out.

Exactly same thing happened with me. TATA-AIG and HSBC are cheating people. I also got trapped in this. If anyone knows how to make complaints against these people, then please let me know. HSBC was good but with TATA-AIG, HSBC too has started cheating people.

Those HSBC cust-care guys, asked me to listen to policy first. Then even when i told that I was not interested the AIG guyz said
"itz OK Mam, u can cancel it when ever u need Mam".
Three of the numbers they gave did not exist :)
Finally when I called then they say that
'Sorry Mam, Our computer is not working Mam, so please call later Mam'

But I didn't get any call form TATA AIG and every month they deducted around 705+705+1795 + service tax/- rupees from my credit card account. When I contacted with HSBC customer care, they provide me a TATA AIG contact number and told, sir pls. contact on this number, they cancel your policy immediately. When I contact them they said call us after 25th of particular month, when I want to contact on 26th then the number was out of order.
Note: - I want to cancel all 3 policies immediately, and the amount from this month should not be deducted from my Credit card, as TATA AIG customer assured that whenever we want to close the policy with immediate effect they will close our policy.

I had similiar experience,
HSBC have debited me 2512 for the policy
Now after complaing hsbc for several times.
TATA AIG has sent me refund cheque of 1076 .. and my credit card showing around 5000+ because of late fee charges by HSBC .

its a trap set by hsbc and tata aig.

when you call hsbc they will ask you to call tata aig and vice versa
mean while they will keep charging you premium. if you dont pay
they will charge late fee and finance charges.

I think all o[censored]se who have suffered because of this should unite
and go to hsbc office.
