Hi I enrolled for MBA program ( enrolment No-MBA2085212) from ICFAI university (distance learning module), in 2007.
I cleared group-A and also appeared for group-B.
Due to the nature of my job which is quite intense I could not give proper attention to MBA program which I was pursuing. My job includes a lot of traveling and the schedule is very hectic so I decided to discontinue from this program. illegally
Stating the same in mail I requested the course convenor that I would not be able to continue with this course.
But instead of listening to my queries they started sending me the legal notices through HIFCO MARVEL LIMITED.
And when I contacted their course coordinator at infantary road, Bangalore, I was told that legally I am not bound to pay them but if a take any legal action I would lose more then gaining any thing.
Anyhow now when I searched net I was amazed to see the number of people who have been the victims of this so called university.
My only query is:
1) if I had discontinued the course in the middle was I supposed to pay them the remaining amount?
2) though I had paid them pdc's for the entire course at once, on what ground are they suing me???
on non payment of money through pdc's or non completion of course????

I am a pass out of 2006-08 batch from ICFAI National College Yamunanagar(haryana).
I am complaining of INC Principal and faculty because of the following reasons:
1) Cheating in examinations during the whole session
2) No proper standards of education.
3) No scheduling of lectures
4) Inexperienced placement coordinator

I was shocked to see students of my class cheating to a horrible extent when I wrote my exams of first semester. I immediately reported this to principal of the college, and the officials of their regional office. But I was threatened by the faculty there, one among them advised me not to talk on this topic. They said that, I will be in trouble if I try to object on this.
Principal of my college and the faculty made the students of my batch addict of cheating. There was no time table for lectures, no regular case studies, no regular live projects. We had no experienced placement coordinator at the time of our placements.
Now I have completed my MBA from the college, and I am trying to reveal the truth to public in the area.
We have no details of marks in our mark sheets, only grades are there. When I asked for the detailed marks of my batch, they refused to give me the details. I request you to; collect the detailed result of all the semesters of my batch. There are so many variations in the result of students, which clearly shows the extreme level of cheating in the exams. Further, I have telephone recordings of many students of my batch, in which they are accepting all the aforesaid things.
Shilpa Jain, a faculty in the college, gave tips for cheating to the students in her lecture, She said, " Choose intelligent students for the answers, don’t faith blindly on anyone."
Mamta Oberoi, another faculty once said in the exams" Don’t be selfish, help others."
Jaya Malhotra, the placement coordinator, she ignored calls of students asking for their placements.
Poonam Mahendru, academic coordinator, accepted fake and copied MTs from students.
The principal was aware of all the malpractices, but he didn’t take any action.
I request you, please punish the principal and the faculty of my college.
Very few students are ready to talk on these issues, many of them afraid, and are reluctant to go against the faculty and principal.
But I have recorded what they say behind, through my cell phone. Students accepted all the above mentioned things.
You are requested to check the detailed result of my batch, check the hard copies of Management Thesis, and Check the OPWs, live projects made by the students.
For me, the real culprits are the principal and the faculty who served there during my batch.
Now the principal has shifted to ICFAI University Dehradun, Two faculties left the college. The college has no principal from approx. two months. It is very ironic, that MBA College is working without any principal from more than two months.

I am also enclosing the placement details of all the students of my batch. List is not fully completed, it will be completed by coming Sunday. See how bad the placements are. Bad placements are due to excessive cheating and inefficient faculties.

As per telephonic talk with ICFAI, infantry road, B'lore. branch manager mr.Dakshina Moorty.on 30-june-08. he said he will send the receipt of payment made towords the fees of cource with ICFAI, even after several reminding & requesting his completely negleted this and after 2 months later when i caled for receipt, his attitude was changed and very rudly told me to collect this from his office in his presence and most of the time when i ask him the time when he is available in office his only reply is that his is out of office, please help me in this regards

I had also enrolled for the MBA programme in Jan 2006 and I signed up for the emi facility. I payed the 10, 000 advance n gave them 18 PDC's. I got engaged in April 2006 n since I was to relocate to another country after my marriage in Nov i decided to discontinue the course. I made a stop payment on my cheques and informed them that i do not wish to continue with the MBA. they of coz said that wsa not possible n dat I have to continue it. They also told me even if I am abroad i can still continue the MBA from there. But I did not get any details of the same from them. Before my wedding they started sending sum collection agents to my place n with the prospect of continuing the mba from
abroad i paid about 30, 000 to them. but then after marraige ofcoz i cud not continue the mba, in august last year they started sending people to my house in mumbai demanding payment. I went to Mumbai for my delivery in December 2007, before which I had sent 3 emails to ICFAI requesting to discontinue the course since i was going to have a baby n it wud b practically impossible to continue, but again i received no response. I was even willing to pay them the remaining money jus to get rid of them, but they never reverted back. so i jus left things as they were n now they sent sum court order to my parents house, this has really disturbed my parents a lot n i am here in a foriegn country with a baby to care for. Really not sure how to deal wid this.

Can u plz help me out n gimme sum suggestions?

My employer has submitted Form No 13 (Transfer forms)
No: AP/43082/116 and AP/41808/1473 To my present PF.Account No: AP/16939/6847 and also I have submitted my Pension scheme certificate No: AP/PTC/37137 in original along with transfer form.

I would like to know whether all the above transfers have been taken place to my present employer's PF.Account No.

For your ready reference, the above froms were submitted at yr office on 23rd Apr'08 and a certificate was submitted on15-5-08.

I rquest your kind self to please let me know urgently about the above transfers.

i had taken admission at icfai gurgaon and they have asked me to deposit 80000 rs as confirmation at that time i was in my final semester of engineering in mid of may 2008.but my father's health become affected due to illness and iam not able to study there. when i ask them for return the some amount of money deposited they didnot return me even a single paise pleas help me to get some amount and pls tell me how could i get my money back. i kept mailing them but there is no response form them pls help me sir pls tell me how to get money back

I Ankur Jain enrollment No[protected] have enrolled myself for MBA by paying 10000 bucks. To make the rest of payment I selected EMI. However due to financial inability I am not in position to make the rest of the payment. SO I asked ICFAI guys what is the alternate. but they said as they have Post Dated Cheque so I need to make the payment on time. Else I will come in trouble.

I told them as they already received nearly 7 EMI of Rs. 3250/- & Rs. 10000 in the beginning. So I want to quit at this moment right now. They said we can not do that. This is against the policy I have signed. They said I can not quit from this program. I need to make full payment.

I am not in the position to make the payment.

I told them that as I have not borrowed money from them instead of that I am making the payment for the thing that I am not sure I will able to get that or not. Now I don't want to do that thing so why they are forcing me to make money. i don't have money to give them at this time.

I am a student of CFA 042143 and taken my admission from AJC bose road branch kolkata .

I have done MBA in finance from Calcutta University and at that time I was working with India Bulls Securities Ltd . I talked with the student counselor Ms Debjani Ghosh and I repeatedly told her I want to take admission in DBF (the 1st part of CFA - MS Finance), She has misinformed me that in future there is no possibility to if I want to continue in CFA programme . She took 12 no's of Cheque from me in favour of their tie up loan company . I repeatedly told her not to do this because in the near future it is no guarantee that I will continue that course or not . I have paid Rs 10000 as admission fee . After that I lost my job and and repeatedly told the institute that I cannot pay, they send us the legal notice and humiliated like anything . I have paid my money but I have not given any exam whatsoever .After that I have changed my sector in HR and pursued the course PGDPM&IR. Icfai is a money making institution they are taking money from their students through a illegal way and they have taken lot of money from me. In CFA from the group 1 level the passing % is so low and that is done by the university by intensation, this is one mode of getting the money . I invite all of the students to come together and make a mass appeal against the university . If we don't do this there are lot of students are there they will be under the trap of this university in future. This is one type o[censored]ndue influence and coercion what happened with me. This unversity is offering different course in different time, it is really doubtful that they have proper recognition . We should come together to fight against ICFAI unversity . One very vital point that they donot have any year wise or semister wise payment option, they have only option to take whole money, wheather you continue the course or not or you fail.

This is for all the students who are being harrassed by the ICFAI guys. I am also being harrassed.

I request all you guys, don't be afraid. First of all send them a fromal Notice and ask back for your paymenst, If you have given them Post Dated cheques, call your bank and make a stop payment and tell the ICFAI guys to return back the cheques.

Also file a complaint with your Local Police Station. Then also please file your complaint with the International Consumer Rights Protection Council

The icfai university is a money making institute been setup where they lure the students in the hope of making a career with a mba or mca programs...& later keep failing them in every exams so that they can earn a 1000 bucks or more for atleast seven years till the poor mba aspirant has drained his hard earned money for which these are enjoying a so called reputation status... They have tie ups with big mncs & bpos so that they can show that their program is genuine...& that they do have better educational opportunities... (Where actually the faculty totally sucks... Every examination is conducted at different centres...& later at the end of a particular exam... The supervisor for that exam gets a cool rs. 600 per exam supervised. Now each exam conducted on one day has two groups to clear... Calculate how much every supervisor is earning for 8exams conducted after 2 months... For any further details prior to registering they have already taken 10000 as registration fees...

I am doing distance learning MS(Finance) from ICFAI. I was informed by ICFAI last year that if I clear the exam of just one more subject, I will become a CFA Charter member. They also asked me to pay Rs 6000/- for the prospective membership and then register for the exam. I successfully cleared the paper in October 2007. Since then, I have written numerous mails to the institutes various MAIL-IDs without any revert from them. Please help.

Dear sir,

I made payment of 2050.00 Rs to ICFAI university on 7 march of 2008 using my credit card in ICFAI branch, i have all the document and bank statement but these people are now telling we not received any payment and your not suppose to write exam in july you can write in jan 2009 by this way they were spoiling my 4 months of time, so iam not at all interested to contuine with that university, and i already paid 20, 000.00 rs, i want that amount back to me. plase give me some advise to solve this problem

This is to bring your notice to ICFAI University‘s fraud. I am a student of ICFAI university distance learning program for MBA. ICFAI University have branch office (sales office) in many city, Main purpose of ICFAI is to take as much money from student as possible. They charge for everything AND gandhidham branch is such froud branch and manager also pls i advise to student dont take admission in icfai university

when i take the addmission in ICFIA i have so hops but now the real education come to know. yours Amravati branch of MCA dose not support any kind.There is no classes adjestment facility no faculty for MCA no computer lab, no respossibility about student, we are in middel class student pay 10000 in cash and checks in remain our admission fess is total 43000 Rs. i Earn 4000 per month and i pay 3195 EMI for MCA in the contrary i get no Guadence no class and no support .i feel that the working
of yours branch is lower than primery school, I forgat my password, but they not support me.after all how i do MCA without any Guaidence and suport of any kind ny cheks are bounce due to that event .they only ask only about amout you about student educational stautus and prblems .i request them to cancelled my MCA admission and return my cheks reduce the some penalty but icfai notice me that i must paid all fess they say "you may note that the enrollment validity period of 7 years would suffice to take care of any exigencies during the period. " please give me justice.

I was wrongly sold CFA programme of ICFAI . I was given a Enrollment Number:[protected], actually i wanted to take admission for insurance programme but CFA programme was sold to me, Rs 10000 was debited from my cardMs Pallavi of Andheri(W), Mumbai who councelled me for the same stopped picking up my calls when I was trying to contact her for help. I have stopped payment of remaining instalments, now ICFAI university has started harassing me by sending mails and legal notices at my residence. I need refund, but ICFAI has refused for the same on mail. This kind of administration is threat to education industry. Kindly my case should be taken into consideration and proper action required.
