They expect us to pay Rs.1000/- as exam fee, while it was clearly told in the beginning that 20 k fee include everything. 1000 Rs is too high for a single IGNOU exam. I feel cheated.

He claims he is India's No. 1 stock market analyst, on parameters best known to him.

I saw somewhere that he manages some 50 Cr. or so, as far as I understand the market on the basis of my five years experience, any small time mutual fund agent or a sub broker manages more money.

And as per his website he has 40 yrs of experience, this is quite surprising that he manages such a small amount of money.

I agree he is one of those people that have failed miserably in his core business and is now trying his hands with education, assuming that this is catwalk.

this is the real story, the gentleman who is obsessed by his TV presence, perhaps he does not know there are 10 business information channels and over 100 analysts like him who appear on these channels every day.

Same thing happened to me too... went there every 6 months only to told to come after another 6 months.Also in FEB this year, met Shashi Bhushan and he promised to resolve the matter as soon as possible.10 months has now gone by still the matter has not been resolved.Its Sickening.

IGNOU — Non Receipt of Degree

Guys, want to bring forward a fact about the functioning of IGNOU University, supposedly the largest University by student enrolment. I am a BTech construction management student of IGNOU regional centre bangalore. I enrolled in 2002 and this course is like a dual degree as it is to be done after diploma (in civil engg) however it is 4 years. You are taught advance courses in management. First thing, this course is very very tough to be completed in correspondence study, the course material is designed by professors (PHd's) from IIT's and the question papers are no easy either. only relief is the assignments which carry 30% weightage, however not to forget the passing marks are 50% overall. I was very lucky to have the study centre as NIT Surathkal(REC Karnataka) where i was taught by the best faculty and with great efforts along with full time job, completed my entire course in 5 years, that is 2007, however, i have been struggling till date to receive my degree. Problems being, IGNOU Delhi, did not receive my 1st year assignment marks from my regional centre, this took 1 year whole, then they did not receive marks for few subjects of 2nd year which took another year (because neither regional centre nor IGNOU delhi take any responsibility or are answerable) then there was this final year project marks which they did not receive, which again i had to struggle for to get them which again took about 8 months. with full time work, you can probably follow up like once in week (considering whole day calling) finally when i thought they had everything, i got to know that they did not have 2nd year laboratory marks, this was high time that i lost any hopes, however some helpful people from my study centre NIT surathakal, everytime helped me to get my marks, they had to send it in prescribed format to regional centre and then regional centre would despatch to IGNOU delhi. when we ask regional centre bangalore, why such mess, they tell me that its such old records, how can we search here, go and get it again from study centre...i was like, wtf, how will we know till the end of all four years whether IGNOU delhi has the marks or not...only when we discover after 4 years can we complain...i personally went to IGNOU delhi to sort the final issue and saw that the university is so huge that there is a free bus transportation inside the campus to reach different blocks, with entire days effort was able to reach to the right person, however even he said that the system is so big that the complaint will be lost in warehouse of papers...so better you have the marks sent directly to me...now this regional centre bangalore, after more than 3 months of recieving the last and final marks have not despatched it to IGNOU delhi...i dont know what more can be done regarding this, but only thing that i know is i have wasted my 4 years in this struggle as i could not pursue masters, have screwed up lot of my career, was about to commit suicide for once...and that this university, i[censored]nearthed...may become another scammer in Indian corruption list...be very careful while selecting this university

i am doing bsc in ignou under enrollment no[protected] under regional centre no 20(srinagar kashmir india) i have complated my all the thorey classes sofar now i have to pass only one lab course i, e lse08l which has not been in our study centre from one year.in the month of april 2010 i have been informed via telephone from regional centre u have to attend the lab in the sp college fo june 2010 seasion .when we have approached the study centre they refused to conduct.we have intimated the regional director ignou about the issue but he remains mum.in this way we have lost one seasion.
when for dec 2010 seasion we have approached before the regional director he is giving the excuse of prevaling sititution .besides the local universities have conducted the lab seasion in a normal way .now keeping all these points in view kindly save our tim as i have already lost lot of time behind this issue.
