Dear friend,

I feel really shocked to hear this. It has been SIX years and your marks still are not updated. What action have you taken in this six years? Have you completed the course.? Is it not that you were not concerned about the marks and now you suddenly woke up.

What i would suggest you is to forget your regional centre, cause every thing works in delhi only.

I am ramesh i wrote Msc (I.T.) exam on May 2008 in Madras University but i didn't get my result in the web, when i ask to the concern department in the University they asking me to give request letter with contact no but still didn't get any reply from the university, i have to apply the exam for next term depends my current result. but my current result is ???...

Indira Gandhi National Open University — No information regarding admission

I have submitted IGNOU application form at IGNOU Ahmedabad regional center.(opp Nirma) on 26 th
Nov 2008, along with a DD of 4600/- on th name of IGNOU.

My application no B-313659, for the cousre of master in economics, Till date, their has been no correspondence of any kind from the institution end and as the time is passing by i am mentained with the ambiquity regarding my coures contents and other details.

I have forwarded lot of mails to the ID's given in the prospectus but all are unanswered.
On approaching the IGNOU main campus office in DELHI, i was askes to go to Ahmedabad for any such query.but their was no mention in prospectus with regard ot this that i have to go ahmedabad every time i will have a query.I am at KANPUR these days.

please provide a solution to the matter as the the land line no.
provide on the internet as well as on the prospectus are either busy
or not responded always.

Basic teaching certificate — Not received Admit card of BTC entrance examination which is on 23-aug-2009

sir, My sister Guddi Daoughter of late sh. Bishan Singh, 1B-240 Budhi Vihar, Awas Vikas colony, Moradabad(UP) had not yet received her Admit card of BTC extrance examination which is on 23-aug-2009. can you plz send her admit card or tell me the web add. from where I can get her Admit Card.

i took admission in cte programme in jan 2008. i submitted all the four assignments as per requirements to appear for exams in june 2008. i appeared in cte 01, cte02, cte05 but remained absent in cte 03 exam. i got less marks in cte 02 but cleared cte 01 and cte 05 . in june i appeared for two exams -----cte02 and cte03 . on the site in sept 2009 only one result of cte02 is shown and not of cte 03 ????????? also when enquired from ignou i came to know the marks of assignments of papers-01, 02, 05 . cte 03 assignment result was not told.

what shall i do to know my cte 03 exam result and assignment result????????????????????

I would like to bring this to everyone's attention that IGNOU is a renowned university but however they are renowned as to their extended delays in declaring results. I would like acknowledge the fact that IGNOU has quite massive plans as an educational institution but they fail to be one when it comes to discipline and maintaining a reputation as a university. On top of all this the management of IGNOU seems to be recruited in a big rush SINCE they are so impressive with their efficiency that if one has authority to bring change in Indian education system, would like to terminate their services with immediate effect. I am a living testimony to the fact that work force at IGNOU is corrupt, inefficient and laid back.
I would like each student to file a complaint against their grievances to RTI.
Let us all join hands to end this corruption in the system once for all...

My brother has submitted all his assignments for BDP(BA), but still they show two assignments incomplete. He's even visited their regional center and sent a request plus assignment marks(given by the study center) physically but still nothing has happened. To be frank, now instead of three years, it's been five years and God knows how longer will it take to pass BA.

It's the most irresponsible university I feel.

about IGNOU — I am not receive my acknowledgement card

I felt my MA (Hindi) form from IGNOU (Indira Gandhi Open University) in 2009 bt still i have not receive my aknowledgement card and study material at that time. I am very worried about about my study.

I HAD ATTEMPTED OPENMAT XXVI AUG 2009 AND I RECEIVED RESULTS ON LINE AS QULIFIED AND WHEN IT CAME BY POST TO MY RESIDENCE MY RESULTS WAS MENTIONED AS NOT QULIFIED I SENT EVEN COPY OF THAT RESULT TO THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTOR DEPARTMENT BUT STILL I HAD NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE.I HAD COME ALL THE WAY FROM DUBAI TO INDIA TO GIVE MY ENTEANCE.I DONT KNOW HOW CAN THEY DO SUCH BIG MISTAKES IN RESULTS.

IGNOU, Delhi — Result not declared since 2 years

I submitted my project report in April 2008 in University, but no result is declared till date. I have send so many times reminders to the university about that but no action was taken. One another issue I appeared for my practical examination in June 2009, the result of that is also pending. Neither Study Centre (Rohtak) nor Regional Centre (Karnal) has taken any action regarding this complaint.

I called to Mr yadav, he said me to call Ms. Seema, When i dialed to Ms. Seema three time in three different day she did not come on phone and the person who attend the call has not told me his name also. Whenever i asked his name he said iam from his room so i am concern person.
I called her various time. But anybody who attended the call, had not told me about problem that when it will get resolve? Every one who has attended my call has ordered to call on any other day as this time everyone is busy.

I think it is also an urgent work for Ignou because if you people are doing survey on student satisfaction on your website then i think it is more important to retain a student if he is visiting 5 time in a month, calling you several time and facing the problem from last 9 month to get the information about dd only.

I have submitted my assignment of EPA-06 sep 2008 but my assignment number is not updated in my grade card but all the subjects are completed except of EPA-06. I have submitted all his assignments for BDP(BA), but still they show one assignments incomplete. He's even visited their regional center and sent a request plus assignment marks(given by the study center) physically but still nothing has happened. To be frank, now instead of three years, it's been five years and God knows how longer will it take to pass BA.

IGNOU response problem — No response of mails and over phone

I am also a IGNOU student. I have started MBA course from feb 2010. I took admission in bhubaneswar. Now my company has transfered me to Hyderabad. I have given application to change my study center from Bhubaneswar to Hyd. but its seems, nothing has been done.

I did call them so many times to know the current study center and sent many mails. but no response came. I am little worried that I will loose my money, time and degree due to careless of IGNOU faculties.

Any help in this issue will be appreciated.

I am a Student of MCA, i appeared for the Exam of 4th Sem Paper i.e. MCS-043, i got 40 marks, which i know is not a qualifying marks for Passing the said paper, but when i check the Grade Card i found and surprised on seeing that the Remarks shows as "Subject Cleared(SC)". Few days back i received the document of my grade card i found there too it shows the same. I have written a mail to [protected]@ignou.ac.in regarding my doubt, but yet to receive his/her mail.
I am facing a big problem because i could not understand if the said subject is cleared or not or if i have to prepare for the same paper on my next exam or not.

You can ask them whether your admission has been accepted cause there may be chances that there might have been some documents missing form you while applying.

alternatively check your local post office cause the postman may have forgotten it cause it is a very thin card.

Then you contact directly the regional director--don't waste time in dealing with small people (kaamchor muft ki roti todne wale ignou karmachari) cause thay do not understand value of others time and money.

MY NAME IS DHANANJAY FROM 2005 JUNE BATCH, after 12th in yr05 i cleared engg exam in vey good college in pune, but i thought not waste 4yrs in engg, i wanted 2 join IAF as a pilot for that i took admission in BCA from IGNOU so that i can prepare for interviws(SSB) in 1st sem i gave exam & wait for result but result came on 1month before exam i thought i will pass in that exam as i always got good marks in all exams & did not fill exam form again for that subjects .I failed in all my exams .i thought this university is very strict in marking .i preapared in best for next exams also refer other highprofile books as if i can write books for BCA my self & from that time i am giving exams & still, 2 courses are left cs71.cs75 .in mean time a cleared many exams but with the lack of degree i lost all, today i see many peole with grad degree & dont know how to fill a form, having good job, i feel very bad when i see my cousin bro & sis are doing mba..

I have cleared all the assignments and 4 papers in the specified time of 3 years, and for the remaining 2 papers, i have re admitted myself with re registration fees in 2006-07, but that time also i was unable to get passing marks in one paper( PGDIBO 04), again i re attempted for it with a course fees of rs 50 in june 09, but i was unable to get any information about my result neither from my study centre nor anywhere from head office.

I have been trying to update my assignment marks for CTE-3 & EHD-1 in my Grade Card Status from almost a year. I had almost lost hope on IGNOU, until got to know the E-Mail ID of SR&E Division which has risen a new ray of hope. I trust IGNOU University and IGNOU staff. I have almost contacted my study centre, wrote several letters to SR&E Division, IGNOU, Delhi. Please, Please update my Assignment Marks for CTE-3 & EHD-1 as soon as possible.

I am about to lose my current job also, if my assignment marks aren't updated immediately.

Stupid people are working in IGNOU and they are not doing their JOB, hence this is what we have the problem all over IGNOU. Lots of students has the same problem of not getting updated their asssignments and marks properly. Dont tell me it will take to update years. even there is no phone support, They should close down IGNOU, if they cant provide the service what they promise. It is not at all productive and there is no proper system with in them. Really fed up and It Sucks...

I have completed my degree two and half years ago, as usual still not yet get me cert because they never update 3 of my assignments and surpriseingly these subjects are not from one semister. We always submit each semister assignments all togther, if they miss my assignments they should miss all the subjects in that semister.

Biggest mistake i ever done in life by Joining IGNOU...! Regret.

TAKE A HARD COPY OF YOUR MARKS FROM STUDY CENTRE AND REPORT ABOUT THIS TO THE HUMAN RESOURCE MINISTRY.

Am very upset with the way the assignments are corrected and marks are alloted, but not upgraded in Marks card and Students have walk from here and there from RC to Study centre without doing any mistake.
