Sir,

Sub: NON – RECEIPT OF INCOME TAX REFUND FOR THE ASSTT YEAR 2006-07 & 2007-08

Ref: VIPIN KUMAR GUPTA PAN NO. AAIPG 2703J

With reference to my Income Tax Return for the Asstt year 2006-07 filled on 27/07/2006
vide. R.No 0969 for Refund of Rs. 3930/- and for the Asstt year 2007-08 filled on
30/07/07 vide. R.No.[protected] filled with ward 31(1). New Delhi for Refund of Rs.4652/- .
I have not received any Refund neither for Asstt year 2006 -07 nor for Asstt year 2007-08.
Kindly look into the matter on urgently bases

It might be possible that some PAN related problem in there because in Asstt year 2006-07,
I mentioned PAN.No ADPPG 7287H While in Asstt year 2007-08, I mentioned PAN.No
AAIPG 2703J. However It is not my fault. It is Income Tax department fault because they
Changed my PAN.NO on 24/01/2006 (A copy of PANO letter enclosed).

I have informed the assessing officer clearly stating that my PANo. Has been changed and
old one has it go but no action has been taken by your department, that old PAN.NO is
still alive. A photo copy of letter at 12/08/2006 is enclosed herewith for your ready reference.

You are requested to kindly look into the matter deeply and correct your record accordingly
under Intimation to me. It seems Crors of Rupees stuck with the department due to such type
Of changes and non maintance of proper record by the Department

It in my humble request kindly rectifies the record and issue the Refund order for the
Asstt year 2006-07 & 2007-08 at the earliest
