Income Tax Department — Refund for FY 06-07

Dear Sir
I have filed income tax return at Indore IT office through CA.
Now I have received cheque of Rs 4210/- . In the chaque they have made mistek in bank A/c no. & Date corrected by whiterner. I have deposited this chaque in ICICI indore branch. ICICI bank returened this chaque and mentioned' Endosement stamp required' .
Now I am leaving in Pune. Can I correct this chaque in Pune IT office or I have to send this chaque for correction to Indore IT office.
Please suggest me & give me Indore IT Address.

I m from Dharamvir Exports Pvt.Ltd.

For the financial year 2007-08 we have deposited Rs.50000/- extra as Frienge Benefit Tax and applied for the refund but till now we don't have any information regarding the same, as the submission of tax is online. And the IT people have assured us that this will take 2 or 3 months just coz of online system but till now we dont have even any information about the refund.

Pleas let me know whether the refund process is started or not.

So pls let us know about the same and provide any info. A line of confirmation will be appreciated.

Hi, I haven't received Income Tax Refund for the financial year: 2006-07. When I checked the refund status on line, it is saying, "Your assessing officer has not send the refund to the banker" . I am supposed to get Rs. 22000/-.
Can you please help me in this regard.? Also please let me know if i can i expect to get that amount back ?

One person by name Manikantan is a unemployee of 24 years old, he has having a residential building of Rs.37.00 lakhs. Before 2 years he has sold his house in grape garden, Thygarajanagar for Rs.5.00 lakhs, then he has purchased a home for Rs.11.00 lakhs in Bhyrappa Block, T.R.Nagar (i.e.Nigro Jani's house) and he sold the building for Rs.20.00 lakhs, is he paid any tax in this behalf to Government and he is a financier to the General public in this area and collecting 10% of tax per month from the people and he also harassing the people for collecting this money. Please I request you to conduct the enquiry against him and please help the poor people from his harassment and do the needful to public and Government Tax.
