I have purchased several times from India Today Book Club and I am very satisfied with their products. I also appreciate its customer care centre where the representative always helped me with any kind of information needed. They are fooling just to take orders.

I booked Rebook Kit on dated 15 jan 2010. after paying Rs 3199/- through credit card. but its painfull to complaining here that "I am still waiting for that"

You are requested to look into the matter on priority basis, otherwise the matter will be put forward to Consumer Forum and definately it's going to affect the reputation.

I received a message through SMS on 10th March that I am declared winner of privilege voucher no BIT45677890 worth Rs 4401- reserved specially for me and also with free gift. I am asked to check my mail to see details but unfortunately no mail from you . plz say me what is the matter. or mail me very soon.

I have recently ordered a COLLINS COMPLETE ISTORY OF THE WORLD
with it I am supposed to get 8 best sellers and a round trip air ticket worth 7000, reebok watch
I have received the books and watch but not the air ticket and it is said to log on to www.bookstoday.in/promos.htm to claim the special offer but it does seem to exist.
this is preposterous and that too from a big company like this maybe we should do something about this.

In september 09, repeated phone call and a lot of convincing done by telemarketing with online payment, I offered in purchased full sets of books Total costing Rs 3198. invoice no :ORA[protected] order no: OGA[protected] dated: 19 sep 09 -membership no ITBC09115386, offered get free air ticket and 3 nights/2day hotel accomodation for couple and one child.

I have received the books immedite by consignment no [protected] by courier. but now as I told that to claim free gift I have to log on to www.bookstoday.in/promos.htm. I need unique promotion number[protected]A[protected] to key in to claim the free gift. The mention on invoice is Login web ID is 1435386, which entire system is bluff and faulty .
I repeated request on phone and by mail but no reply and any clearity from this bookclub.
Now It is to my surprissed I again get repeated phone calls, sms and letters for other offers and all time I request for my past claim. Club representative take complain but no action taken still today.
It is too mush harrasing for me.
I have deal in a name of reputation of INDIA TODAY GROUP but now I feel cheated and atleast I want to come out from this harrasement. I hereby lodge formal complaint that India Today Book club is most thirdgrade cheater site, no one should deal with them.

I am trying from the last 10 days to claim my free gifts i.e traveling tickets but every time i fail to down load the forms that has to be sent for the approval because the site always displaying the message that service temporarily out of order.

I have received a mail saying the gift is dispatched through BLUEDART courier on 19th feb, 2010. one month passed away but i didn't receive the gift.Now i am losing the confidence on indiatoday. i had got a call regarding htc 3 g touch phone worth 19498/- as well if i booked rite now then was also liable for dell laptop vostro 1720.which i confirmed two to three times n also asked the saes executive to confirm it again and let me know.
he promised me the same along with other offers like reebok watch n gift voucher s etc and delivery of the same in 3 working days.
on not receiving the delivery of the same in d said period wen called back to customer care dept the order was dispatched yesterday and the laptop was nt included in the courier.
how come they can play wid customers on such a serious note.

I ordered for Reebok set worth 3, 300/-. Order No. OGA[protected] dtd. 13/02/10. I received a parcel & I paid entire amount of 3300/- to the courier. But Shoes were missing in the consignment. I received a call from you telling that 11(Eleven) number size shoes are not in stock & are going to be despatched with in 15 days. Confirmatory E-mail also I have received. Then I called up several times. Twelve days back I got a reply that shoes are ready for despatch & reach me within one week. Yesterday & Today I got a reply that your system is out of order.

So, please clarify me kindly whether I am going to receive the shoes at all? If so when?
