India Today Book Club — No web site to log in to claim free gift

I had ordered set of 7 CD's having free return tickets & holiday voucher.Tough the CD set arrived after 6 weeks but no gift vouchers.
The instructions given were to log in to web site bookstoday.in/promos within 60 days but the web page link is broken from day 1.Eiter the delayed delivery was deliberate or it never was meant to be honoured.
The complain number listed is for Delhi, meaning additional cost for followup.
Thoiugh an excellent product, it would have sold without such false promotions-why end up spoiling reputation of India Today?
same thing happend to me
i had ordered a product which i have not received till date...Lets take an action against this company...

indiatodaybookclub — NON REFUND OF MONEY COLLECTED UNAUTHORISED

In respnse to an advertisement in the Internet titled WINNER I ordered one tracksuit kit consistiong of one Rebook tracksuit, one pair of shoes, one towel and one bag for RS 3198.00 from India Today Book club using ICICI credit card. Asper the instructions given by the mercahant I tried to make the payment online using ICICI payment gateway I made two attempts.. But on both the ocassinos the transaction failed due to some technical reason. Immediatly I received a phone call from one executive from Indiatoday book club offering his help to complete the transaction by connecting my phone to the ICICI payment gateway. I agreed and the tranasaction was completed sucessfully by pucnching my crdedit card no as well as the CVno. I availed this help only once and I repeat only once. But after two weeks I was surprised to find two consignements despached by courier. I accepted one packet and returned the other one the same day. From ICICI Bank I came to know that an amount of RS 3198.00 hasbenn debited from my account twice. I brought this to the notice of India bookclubtoday and ICICI bank. ICICI was kind enough to give a temperoray credit for this amount. for 51 days. India book clubtoday asked me to send the copy of my credit card statment so that they can refund the money .After I sent the stement they stopped corresponding with me. I am planning to file a complaint with the CYBERCRIME branch of Mumbai police for investigation as I fear my credit card details were allegedly misused by some body. I am also planning to file a case in consumer court against Living Media India Ltd for refund of my money which has been illegally collected. The details of the tranasaction are as follows

2) ITBC09842370
3) ORA[protected]
4) Invoice amount RS 3198.00
I am also facing the same problem, have not received the rebook shoes and fitness kit for the more than 1 month. Hope you have received yours.

India Today Book Club — Cheating attitude of India Book CLub

Dear Sir;
I had booked for some CDs thro credit card on 29.09.08 by paing Rs.2599/- on-line to India Today Book Club which I was promised will be delivered within 3-4 weeks.The order no. alloted by them is OGA[protected]. But till date, even after a lot of communication, I am yet to receive the CDs.As demanded by them I had also send copies of credit card statement to them by speed post as well as by E mail. I am really frustrated & angry by their shabby service. This club or organisation whatever may it be should be immediately clsed down so that people are not duped. Sir, i[censored] can help me recovering my money or the ordered Cds, I will be thankful to U. In any case, I am not going to give up. At least I will do some thing so that people are not duped by this fraud company any more.

India Today Book Club — Misleading Customers by worng products and shipping the product twice

Few days back, I receive a mail from India Today Book club offering me Reebok products worth Rs 3000/- for Rs. 1300. Relying on the brand when I ordered for the products they not only process my transaction twice but deliver me the product not even worth Rs 500. My all colleges are laughing on me and don’t understand how India today group can do so?

I have order for the offer through net and later on some of your executive called up and told me that your order is not being processed and taken the same order again over the phone. It results in duplication of order. When I called up over the phone, your executives are replying that both the orders are already in process. I expect an early response from your end.
