Dear Sir,

I am first year MBA student pursuing my studies in Raligh, North Carolina, USA. My father sent me a parcel from Bangalore on 15th Dec, 2009 and I have not yet received the parcel. He has put forward his concern to the IPS office in Bangalore but their reply has not been positive.

The receipt number for the parcel is A CP[protected] IN. I am also not getting information on how to track it from here from the IPS.

Please register my complain as the parcel contained things urgently needed for my education.

I sr Bijaya Chandra Khadanga,had sent a Regd.post with A.D beairing No.1287dated 03.11.2009 to R.T.A,Ganjam,Chatrapur but i have not received said A.D or my letter.So I request to post master of Bhanjanagar,Ganjam PIN-761126, with a written application to inquiry the matter whether the letter was delivered or not on 24.12.2009,but still now I have not received any answer of my application which was submitted on 24.12.2009.so kindly say me what can i do about this matter on my Email.Id. csc.b.[protected]@gmail.com

I am swapnil Marathe works in switzrland , I had sent IPOD through swiss "D-POST" dated[protected].
When the parcel was received by my brother at Indore ( MP ) , The parcel was tempered and IPOD was not found inside.

This is a Shameful act by Indian Postal service, and I deeply condemn Indian Postal service and Indians ( working in this system ) . They are THIEF and should be saked from their job.

Please let me know for further details like Address, Dates and Registry of the good, also let me know if this is not correct place to look for.

I am hoping that this forum will get me justice..

I, Bipin Behara, had sent Rs. 3000/- only (Rupees Three thousand only) on December 1, 2009,
from Kolkata University PO <700073>. This was sent to Akhaji Behara, at Jajpur HO - <755001>.
eMOPNR No:[protected]. I had paid Comn. of Rs. 150/ for sending this amount of
Rs. 3000/- from Kolkata to Jajpur, Orissa. I have been sending money by Government PO through
Money Order by at least last 20 years, every month. I have, till date, never lost any money. I am
sure that somehow this amount has got misplaced and has not reached the destination within
this last one month. Today is January 1, 2010. And I am also confident that the money will be
traced back and corrective measures will be taken by the appropriate authorities at an early date.
Otherwise, the whole system of Government Money Order will break down. I will be grateful if
this amount is paid to my hometown at Jajpur at the earliest. For me and my family, this is a big
amount and our family depends on these money orders. I will be grateful if an early solution is

I have sent an application of Junior accounts officer in BSNL, through the using of EMS speed post service with serial No.EN40952496IN Dated:[protected]. the closing date of application was[protected]. But my application was delivered on[protected]. So I have lost a golden opportunity in my career and Rs.1000 worth DD, and also my efforts to preparation for the exam.

So I am asking the reasons for the delay of delivery of my application cover. and also am demanding compensation.

I have purchased two NSCs on 19-11-03 from Post Office, Jawahar Nagar, Satna. These NSCs have been matured on November 19, 2009. Since I have been shifted to Bhopal, I would like to get the maturity amount here in Bhopal from Post Office, Piplani, Bhopal.
I have submitted a request in this regard at Post office, Piplani, Bhopal on 20-10-09. As per Post office, Satna, they have sent request duly verified on 01-12-09 but as per Post Office Piplani Bhopal, they received request without verification and hence sent back.
Since I did not get NSC verified, I have put a reminder on 05-12-09 & again on 21-12-09, still there is no positive result. Executives here in Piplani Post Office are saying that they have sent the reminder, while Post Office, Satna is denying the receipt of it.

UNDELIVERED REGISTERED AIRMAIL

i had sent two registered airmails (RR[protected]IN)&(RR[protected]IN)- 90 and 53 grams each, from Jama I Osmania Post office(500007), counter no :1,OP code:2 to Manama,Bahrain.I was assured that the mail will reach with in a week.But it has not yet been received by the addressee.Kindly take the necessary actions.

I had posted my NIOS examination form and fees in the form of draft on 21 December,2009 from Bhagalpur,Bihar which was required to reach Noida within 5 days.anyways if it does not reach there till 31december,2009 I wont be allowed to sit for my exams which is highly important.When I track the movement of my article, it shows that the article has been bagged from Patna on 22 December,2009.This is the status shown on the website since 22 december till date.I did e-mail them regarding my complaint but there is no reply till date.Now I have only two more days left. Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible.

I am Pankaj, I belongs to Vill-Shahkhera, Arjunganj, Lucknow. I had seen lot of time that our postman is not responsible to deliver the posts. recently i had a important examination and i didn't got my admit card, so that myself gone to post office and collected the Admit card that was in the post office since last few days.

it was wroust service from postman & post office too.

Please do the needful accordingly.

I had registered post from Seelampur post office ( Pincode 110053) Delhi with the name of Mrs. Pooja Kumari D/o Shri Jai kishor Gupta for Areraj ( Pincode 845411) Bihar, My Registered Post Ref. no. is RP A 1404 dated 11/12/2009, but till date that registry post not delivered at receiver address. And not returned at sender address till date. Please trace where that post have gone????.

Respected Sir,

I would like to bring to your attention the extreme inefficiency and irresponsible behaviour exhibited by employees at the Ganapathy Post office branch in Coimbatore.I called up the post office beforehand to confirm that all speed post parcels have to be submitted at the post office before 3:00 p.m.I reached the above mentioned postal branch at 2:00 p.m.and was directed to an unmanned counter.I approached 2 different postal office employees and was told that the person in charge of speed post collection had gone for lunch.I waited along with 5-8 people at the same counter while the remaining employees spent time chatting.

One lady was kind enough to weigh my package which weighed less that 50 gm and quoted a price of Rs.193/- as postal charge.She didnt accept payment saying " person in charge of speed post collection had gone for lunch".I waited until 2:35 p.m. along with other unfortunate customers.I finally left without posting my package and couriered my package for a mere Rs.35/-.

I can understand being asked to wait ten minutes because an official is busy.But I do not understand why the postal department insists on wasting the time of customers merely because the person who does the job is out for lunch.In view of the number of customers waiting,wouldnt it be reasonable to expect one of the other employees to take over?Or is such customer friendly service beneath the postal department?Do government jobs lend employees a sense of entitlement that leads them to believe that any behaviour is to be tolerated by the customer?There was no complaint/feedback box availabe which obviously shows the disinterest of the department in knowing a customer's suggestions or problems.

I found the below line in the Mission statement of India post.
"Total devotion to providing efficient and reliable services, which Customers consider to be value for money."
Considering the inefficiency I saw ,I consider the service an absolute national waste and I believe that there is no way that the Vision of India Post will ever come true.Truly disappointing.

EI[protected]IN).Till today (17th dec 2009 at 02:28) my my posting material, containing DD of worth 500/- rs (whose last date of reaching is 18 dec 2009 ).today i met many officer Like Mr. K. K. Sharma (karya palan yantri station speed post center), their response is not satisfactory.
i need help from Consumer Form in this case,if my DD not delivered till tomorrow.

On 4th December 2009, I sent a courier to Auckland, NZ from Raipur, India via the Indian Postal Department. The parcel that I sent weighed 4.6 KG and contained 23 items. The recipient has received only 9 items and the parcel weighed just about 1KG. The parcel was opened en-route and some of the items in it were stolen. On talking to the Postal Department, and the people who took the parcel they claim that it is not in their hands and they are blaming the Customs Department.They say "If you have problems dont send courier next time" It is highly unprofessional and they show no concern to consumer complaints

NON - PAYMENT OF MONEY ORDER
I have send money order amounting to Rs. 500/-(Five hundred only) vide Rt. No. A 4624 dated 29.09.2008.through Sri Nagar Colony Post Office Delhi-110034. To Sh Debnandan Paswan Village - Husena Ghat, P.O. Rasulpur Kori Gao, Via- Bhagwan Pur, Distt.- Vaishali, State- Bihar, Pin-844114. but till date the above money order not delevered.

In this regard a letter going to Post Master Sri Nagar Colony on dated 12.12.2008 but nothing is done so far.

Therefore you are requested to work into the matter urgently.

Till I have not received my letter

Rgd.A/D no.3172/09.12.2009 booked from bommasandra-560099 to sri Ganganagar-335001 is still not reached to our relative M/S Vijay chandgothia telecom as in this we have very important documents and it will produce to concern athourity on 15/12/2009,kindly expedite delivery and cnfm action taken by you in this regards

On 15/10/2009, we handed over a Cheque (No.813513 of HDFC Bank, New-Alipore Branch) for Rs.50,000/-(Rupees Fifty Thousand only) to New-Alipore Post Office,Kolkata-700053,(under Alipore Main Post Office), along with necessary application form for issuing 6-year NSC Certificates, jointly in the name of RATNA SENGUPTA & RANJAN SENGUPTA.

The Cheque was duly debited from our account on 23/10/2009. Unfortunately, the above referred certificates have not yet been handed over to us.

I have lodged an complaint on today ie. 8.12.09 regarding non delivery of registered post addressed to The Chairman, JEE, Indian Institute of Technology, Powai, Mumbai posted from Worli, Mumbai Post Office. Now I have confirmed with IIT, Mumbai, the post has been delivered and received at IIT, Mumbai.
Hence the complaint lodged from my side may be treated as withdrawn.

My name is Shalini Pal from Secunderabad 500003. On 25/11/2009 your post man by the name Mohd Pasha came to my flat to give me my money order, since I was running fever for more than 10 days and since I was in my bed room my father asked the post man Mohd Pasha that he shall get it signed by me as I am in my room lying with fever or else he will give my ID proof Pan Card so that the post man gets some kind of assurance. However your post man Mohd Pasha denied my fathers request and inturn started talking indecently and misbehaved by saying if your daugther wants money order she should come and take it or else he will not give it. My dad said I was inside and not well as such he will show my pan card or voters ID or Drivers license as proof of identification but this post man Mohd Pasha did not listen to my father and said he will not give the Money Order and inturn he only said that he will complain to your postal department and see that I will not get my Money Order or my future letters.
Sir this is really very frustrating. I just wanted to ask one thing and I hope you answer my question. Tell me do your post man when go to muslim localiies do they insist in going into the muslim houses and getting the letters signed by ladies who are in Burkas and do they say no to ID proof and insist only on the person comming in front of them and signing. Please let me know. Sir your post man should have minimum consideration and understand that when someone is sick and not in a position to come and sign and when my family members are ready to produce a valid Government ID proof for verification then I dont think so it wrong for my family members to take any letters, correspondence or MO on my name. Because they are showing a valid proof of ID's.
Sir the only reason I did not receive my MO is because always post man Mohd Pasha asks me money in the name of Dasara Enaam, Idh Enaam or Diwali Enaam. And once my mother asked him why do he beggs for money and my mother asked him if he is not getting his salary or what and if he is getting his salary then why does he has to keep asking money in the name of Enaam. And I honestly feel that this post man Mohd Pasha felt insulted when my mother denied giving him Idh Enaam and asked him to leave. And I feel this is one of the reasons he has developed a gruge and as a result since then we are not getting any letters and whenever I contacted sender that why I did not receive my letters they say that my letters were sent back to them since I was not at home, which is not correct and now I understand that just because I ddid not pay post man some rupees he alawys returned by letters and now I did not get my MO for Rs 1870(I am not very sure about the exact amount of MO but yes its somewhere close to Rs 1870 which I was looking for).
Sir now I feel that I have done a mistake by not giving Mohd Pasha Dasara Enaam, Diwali Enaam or Idh Enaam and suffering for my money and other important letters. Sir please let me know if you want that I should pay Enaam to Mohd Pasha . If you say yes I dont mind paying him 10 or 20 Rs, but I really dont want my important letters or MO to be returned back to the sender or misplaced just because I am not paying your post man Mohd Pasha these enaams.

Sir I am filling a consumer complaint in this regards and also about the letter which I received from Secunderabad HO- Which says it is from some Senior Post Master from Secunderabad HO-500003 stating that my father misbehaved with post man Mohd Pasha which is not correct. Honestly speaking just because my mother denied giving enaams for the festivals which this post man Mohd Pasha asks he inturn felt insulted and just to cause inconvinience he approached your senior post master in this regards and told him all fake stories that my father misbehaved and sent us a letter of complaint. Sir I am not boosting about my fathers education background but let me tell you he is a postgraduate with LLB and he is a person who has very good knowledge about legal issues. He is retired from one of the biggest financial government institustion as an officer and I dont have any problem in receiving this letter, however even before knowing what is the fact your senior post master sent this misbehaviour letter to my father stating that we misbehaved with the post man and also stated to my father that in future we will not receive any letters. Not a problem I will store this letter which I received from your senior post master of Secunderabad HO-500003 and give a complaint with consumer affairs and since I am also personally involved with legal profession I will personal take it up with my higher ups in my court and also take it to your higher official and see on what basis your senior post master sent us this letter and even before enquiring anything with us just on post man Mohd Pasha words how can he even think of sending a letter to us.

I am taking it on a serious note with my Consumer Court. Very soon I shall be meeting your higher ups and asks him that just because my mother denied giving post man Mohd Pasha 10 to 20 Rs as enaam and asked him why does he has to keeping asking money for enaam as such I am always not receiving my important letters and finally today I missed my MO.
