I sent a speed post letter to Premshankar Chaturvedi, Village- Dhamana Bujurg, Post- Dhamana Bujurg, District- Kanpur(UP) on 18/02/2009 morning. It was very important. it was carring some important doccument. It is not delieved till now. I am so disspointed by this type of post ofiice service. i have sent a mobile phone from US to india on dec 3 2008 through express mail(USPS) from california, US to hyderbad.The tracking Number for the mail is EH[protected]U S. the details for this item can be checked at usps.com.Its almost 3 months my item has not yet deliverd to my friend.i have contacted the customer care about my item and they have given me number of mumbai post office.i tried calling the number for about a month...

i was told tht i will be delivered within two to three days.but after six days also it was not delivered.
when i tried to know its status, online it showed no info.then i traced out number of the manager of speed post of howrah circle, but thn also either no one picked up the call or said its out of their jurisdiction or gave a other number to call.br...

I have received an empty, half opened packet, delivered at my doorsteps on 11th Feb 2009 at 1 pm. The delivery is from Mindark, Sweden, and was supposed to contain a SEcurity Access Card, and two Card readers.
When I approached the Postal department with the issue, it was absolute non-cooperation. Verbally they informed me that, as it was an ordinary post, they have no responsibility regarding the missing contents. Does...

I have the honour to inform you that, I have not received survival benefit Rs. 4000/- against PLI policy No. AM/AEA/24986-CS till today after getting payment sanction from Dy. Divisional Manager (PLI) Assam Circle, Guwahati-781001 vide No. LI/AM-AEA-24986-CS/DI/86-Krjh dtd. 19.11.2008 from Gossaigaon Post Office PIN 783360, Dist. The small post office at Ranalai, Via - Chandragir, Dist - Gajapati, Orissa, PIN - 761 017 India doesn't deal monetary matter properly. Even some people of the village lost their money and never recoved it.

This is my enquiry rather complain first.

My retired father has NSS with Indian Post. We want the a letter from post master to mention about his savings. But the post masters says he cant issue any of such letters. My simple query here is if postal department has banking services why can't they provide similar services to their customers.

I had PPF account no.381with Sector 22 Post office Faridabad. On my request In July 2008 account was transferred to SBI Faridabad. GPO Faridabad had sent all relevant papers for transfer to SBI except the cheque of Rs.3248 of the outstanding in the account.
A photocopy of the cheque no.679125 dated 26.7.08; Seq. no.[protected] Pres Bank[protected] for Rs.3248 was obtained which was found to have been cleared by Head Post office Sonepat....

I sent registered airmail from china to mumbai on 28th dec 2008 and was assured that it will be delivered within a week or 10 days...it has been 17 days now and the parcel has not been received yet.As the parcel was sent to Mumbai a metropolitan and not to some remote small area it was expected that a relatively prompt service will be received but it does not seem to make any difference.
