Dear Sirs,
I am a resident of Seawoods Estates (NRI Complex) at Nerul since 2002. Since then I have been receiving postal articles after 40-60 days from the date of posting from Delhi and even Mumbai!! There is not even a single article which I received in time! Bank PIN codes reach me after 60 days, magazines like Business Today reach me 40-60 days from the Franking date, letters from my 75 year old ailing mother in Kerala reach me after 50-70 days!!. Marketing offers, CC Bills etc. reach me after the due dates, wedding Invitations reach after the wedding dates!!

I met the Postmaster at Nerul post office many a times in the past in vain!. Please see attached scanned images which are self explanatory. The magazines were delivered to me after 42-60 days and the letter from the Bank after 45 days! (I missed the due date which was 31st March 2010)

Unable to bear the delays any longer I had to cancel all the subscriptions!. But what can I do with the regular letters, PIN mailers etc.?

This service needs to be improved. The residents of the most prestigeous complex in Mumbai can't any longer bear with the extremely poor service of the Postal dept.

Order for book placed on Chandamama India Limited, Channai with full payment in advance not yet received after about four months. It is learnt that the Book despatched through Registered Post Vide No. RP B 2963 on 20th March, 2010 from Thiruvanmiyur Post Office (Chennai) to Renukoot in Sonebhadra District (UP). Want to know whereabout of the parcel.

how I can read that given adress respected person written correct or not. because the ribbon of printer was fully damaged.

Dear Sir,
I am writing due to a non parcel delivery from India to Portugal. The receipt reference number is EW[protected]IN. I sent is over 4 weeks ago and was sent thru air mail the lady in the counter told me it will be in Portugal in 2 weeks, it's been over 5 weeks and still no parcel delivered. Can you help me try to find where and what I must do to receive this parcel which I paid 1640 ruppya.

The last date of application was 15 january 2010 but my latters not delivered at time. when i confirmed from DSSSB office about refusal of my letters, theytold me that post office delivered letters to DSSSB office on 18th january. now I am very sad . because this was my last chance to apply for the post because after thics i am over age for this post. now what i can do. my application form had returned to me . in this process of applying application i spent 2000 Rupees also i am over aged now for future advertisement for such post.so I request you to please provide me compensation of Rs 2 lakh .please help me. now i am in depression.

I had sent a speed post parcel No: EU[protected]IN on 19 March 2010 from Sahibabad - 201005 to Mr Sheo Balak Pandit, Shri Ayurvedic Pharmacy P.O. Katrisarai (Gaya) - 805105, Bihar. But by 3rd April 2010 the parcel has not yet reached desitnation post office and so addressee has not yet received it.
Earlier I had also sent a speed post letter No: EU[protected]IN from the same P.O. and to same person and this letter, too, has not yet reached destination post office by this 3rd April 2010.
I've been asked by Mr Umesh singh, postal assistant in Katrisarai S.O. that staff of Kiul and Gaya RMS are demanding service charge from bulk mail senders for sorting and forwarding mails of Katrisarai. Mails of Katrisarai is detained for collecting service charge.

A speed post document (EW[protected]IN) was posted on 22nd March 2010 for delivery at my address by LIC, which till date has not been delivered to me although India Post web site is showing the satus as delivered on[protected]. On equiry at local post office at Lake Town, they could not give proper response.

I needed my transcripts to be sent to Canada. Panjab univerisity sent the transcripts by registered post to Canada but Canada hasn't received it. I need to track the package to find when it was delivered to Canada or was it lost on the way. The registration number is RR[protected]in.

Dear Sir,

My parents send me a parcel from Ujjain (M.P) to Japan on 25th March 2010, via Speed Post. It contained books, some eatable items, expensive sunglasses and new clothes. I found the parcel to be in bad condition upon receiving (on 31st March, 2010). My sunglasses and clothes were missing. My parents had wrapped the clothes properly. But, upon opening the parcel, it was all messed up. Somebody has definitely opened the parcel.

What is worse is that, I found scrap papers (garbage) and heavy scrap Indian magazines (total 6 of them!) in my parcel. My parents definitely didn't put that scrap into the parcel. The parcel was opened in India. This is utter carelessness on the part of Indian Post.

My parents saved a lot of money to buy those things as they are very costly in Japan. I am a student here. I belong to middle class family. I felt really bad upon opening the parcel.

Please tell me what should I do now? Should I file an FIR in police station or directly file complaint in Consumer Court? Please advice me step by step. I shall be thankful.

I am Amil Solanke and I stay in Pune. I haven't received a parcel shipped from Canada on 6th of March 2010 via Small Packets International Air, Canada http://www.canadapost.ca/ Its been over 3 weeks now! I called several post offices over here in Pune. Visited many of them too! Nobody seems interested in helping out! I don't even know whether my parcel has reached India or not! All responses I get are call this number or visit your local post office. Nobody actually knows where my parcel is! At last someone from Speedpost told me to call Foreign Post Office Mumbai and they don't even bother to answer the call! calling them since an hour!

I need to know why is it getting delayed so much. I got other items shipped later than that but still didnt get this one. I need to know whether its held by customs or is there any other problem. What should I do?

As mentioned in the subject, the certificate belongs to Malad ND PO, Mumbai 64.
Regn No: 83550, Certificate No: 02CD 960259,960261 Each of Rs. 10000/= i.e. Maturity Value of Rs. 20000/= so Total Maturity Value comes to Rs. 40000/=.

First of all as usual SB Clerk is very RUDE to me and not able to give the valid reason. He is just refusing as NSC are not meant to be issued in HUF status. But these are KVP, hense should not be a problem, Anyways if they have issued then they are responsible of it, I or My Agent is of same opinion. And there is no circular also available regarding such information release.

By creating this obstacle and mentioning that I am subject to take only Principal Amount and not the interest and also that i shall get my principal also in about 6 months time, as it may go to the circle office for approval.

They are consoling that if that is not happening i shall get the SB interest for the delay period anyways, but who is interested in that, when Money that is needed now is more important. I am going through a Throat Treatment that is very stringent and eating out my dear money.

Sir, I genuinely am in the need of this money and that is mine by all virtue. How could you help me in this regards? Please let me know asap.

I ordered a DVD set from Amazon USA, and they shipped it to me on 9th February , 2010. They gave me the estimated delivery date of 18th March. Today is the 25th of March, yet I haven't received the parcel. I've ordered lots and lots of DVD's from Amazon in the past, and almost everytime I received them within 20 days from the day they shipped the product. Yet this time there has been no response.

I have applied for my mother's and sister's passport on 2-Dec-2009 in Post Office. Police verification is done. But yet, I am not able to view any information in the Passport website. It always says, "File Reference number is either wrong or Information NOT available"

Please update me about the status of my two passports asap. It is quite urgent. The details of the passports are given below:-

I Harjinder Singh S/o Balbir Singh Sarpanch Gram Panchayat Boparai, teh Patti & Distt. Tarntaran. have submitted complaint against mr. Dilbagh singh who is working as postman in Post office situated at village Boparai in tarntaran distt. Punjab. Mr. Dilbagh Singh has taken bribe from poor people to open their accounts in post office in narega scheme run by Central Govt. whenever any of the poor person who is not able to even earn money for daily food, wants to open an account in post office, everytime he demanded Rs. 50/- from each of them. So the people complaints about this matter to panchayat and being Sarpanch of village i contacted the postman Mr. dilbagh Singh but he said this is necessary for everyone, which is not written anywhere to charge Rs. 50 from any person to open account. Kindly look into the matter because it is totally unlawful and a blunder mistake against the law. so my humble request is to take some strict action against Mr. Dilbagh Singh.
I will be waiting for the any action to be taken against that person which will surely give relief to the poor society of people.

Respected Sir,

I have opened an Recurring Deposit A/c in Sirumugai Post office (pincode : 641302) in coimbatore district for the monthly amount of Rs.2000/- While opening I was given my communication address and its differ from my permanent address which is available in Ration card/passport.

As of March, 2010, my RD got matured and the post office persons said, I need to open a new SB A/c in Post office to my matured amount. For that they are asking me to get a signature from my permanent address based (kuppanur (PO)) post master. But the post master is asking Rs.5000 to provide the signature.

I am totally confused and not sure how to complaint this issue. Could you please help me on this.

AFTER TRACK RECORD SEARCHING I AM GETTING INFORMATION THAT 11 03 2010 AT KOLKATA AIRPORT BAG WAS OPENED 16 03 2010 AT 08 47 A M GURGAON SPC RECEIVED THAT DOCUMENTS & INSTEAD OF SENDING DOCUMENT TO THE BATA THEY HAVE SEND IT TO AHMEDABAD ON 16 03 2010 AT 20 43 HRS & AFTER THAT NOW IT ISLYING AT BURDWAN ------TODAY IS 18 03 2010 AT 21 00 HRS. & TRACK REPORT IS SHOWING ---not delivered. I have send a speed post on 25.02.2010 from Joshimath,Chamoli uttrakhand to NSDL ,Pune.Till date the article is not delivered. On the sepped post tracker it showing that it lying at Bareilly.No further processing is done at bareilly for atleast 20days.
