[Resolved]  Indian Railway — misbehaviour of railway staff and misuse of tatkal seva

1. tatkal seva is to serve immediate reservation but how this seva shows waiting list status if the passenger pay extra for htis service.
2. at the time of journey railways staff t.t.e. and inspectors take money from the passenger to provide rooms in the trains.
3. undiscipined maintanance of railway trains passengers and routes.
4. tatkal seva is very bad to feel a reservation in train but a type of earning of money from railway staff.

My husband Abraham is travelling in 2644 Swarna Jayanti from Nizamuddhin to Trivandrum on 5th July 2008. He board the train from Warangal reservation upto Palakkad in Coach B1 (3A), seat No.31 and PNR No.[protected]. The coach boys misbehaving with him by telling that they don't have cleaned bed sheets and pillows. They are not ready to give fresh bed sheet in AC compartment and istead of giving the basic facilities in AC Compartment, they started abusing him by telling that if you want then use these used bed sheets i.e. the sheets used by other passenger. They are forcing to use the same to a new passenger. Who will look into it and where should we go for this kind of misbehave and lapses. Railway is giving such facilities to the passenger who are travelling in AC compartments. Kindly look into this matter and please reply to whom we should approach.

Sub. Complaint against wrong penalty & mental harassment

Sir,
I was trawled by train no. 6340 MUMBAI EXPRESS from KODAI ROAD TO CSTM (MUMBAI) by ticket pnr no.[protected]. My wife DINAL & son Parthik were with me. My ticket was from MADURAI JUNCTION TO MUMBAI CSTM but we changed our boarding from madurai to kodai road.
As per our ticket we boarded from kodai road in the presence of Mr. TC & vigilance officer Mr.ARNAPUTTAM.Vigillence officer Mr.Aranaputtam wished to check our E ticket & after that he asked for driving license.I submitted my driving license for checking purpose to him. Driving license was attested by honorable magistrate of Surat city. But I was shocked when he told me in roudly way that I was without ticket & he had a power to cancel my journey & also powered to call railway police to throw away my bags outside the train. Under pressure Rs. 4420.00 was paid against penalty. How he calculated penalty that we don’t know.After so many requests both officers did not give me their names & batch nos..I had original E ticket & driving license at the time of journey. Also note that after checked driving license Mr.Aranaputtam wrote my license number on penalty receipt.
So many requests did by my family & other passengers but there was no response by Mr.Arnaputtam.When I asked to TC & vigilance officer for their batch nos. & full name they didn’t give me. At EROD JUCTION they left the train like thieves & told me “We know we were wrong but we show our power to you. Now we see what you will do”
After EROD JUCTION an aged TC Mr.Mani took a charge and we asked for complaint book he told me to register my complaint at Mumbai cstm after finished my journey. So we registered it at Mumbai cstm on 12/11/2008 with Xerox copies of driving license, penalty receipt & E ticket were attached with complaint.
Also note that we saw our all papers to deputy stn.master of Mumbai cstm Mr.YADAV before submit my complaint.
I request you to refund the amount of wrong penalty. Hope for kind & prompt action.

Dear Sir,

I have booked my ticket through Internet Reservation facility from IRCTC site. My ticket is from Habibganj Station to Balasore but due to non-availability of any direct train I have bounded to booked my ticket from Habibganj to Bilaspure in the train Amarkantak and Bilaspur to Balasore in the train Utkal express which detail are given below.

I.Ticket details.

Sir I have paid Rs.590/- through e-ticket which is too much, if I will booked the same ticket through reservation counter then ticket cost is Rs.445/- it means I have paid excess Rs.150/- per member and in totality Rs.900/-.

What mistake I have done if I have availed the Internet reservation facility, indirectly I have helped reservation clerk and reduce the overheads of Railway.

I request you to look in to this matter and try to refund my excess money Rs.900/- which I have paid extra vide e-ticket or guide the way to refund it back.

Indian Railways — Misbehaviour and Refund of Penalty

I boarded into Train No. 2232 from Ambala Cant. to jagadhri with valid mail train ticket.At Jagadhri TT checked my ticket & imposed a fine of Rs. 260 as panelty for not having the superfast ticket. He also try to snatch my wallet & Watch and my Driving License forcefully. At 139 I inquired the matter they suggested, you can file a case against TT of misbehaving as well as you can claim for refund because He can not charge panelty on it. You too can go through the website www.indianrail.gov.in for the rule. I hereby request to refund and take necessary action against TT .
Please note if I did not get reply/refund within seven days I will compel to file case against them in consumer court with my harrshment charges for which you will be responsible. The receipt no. is 761898 dated 4, May 2009 at jagadhri Station by Dinesh Kumar.
u r confusing about tatkal seva.tatkal seva is given by PRS before charting and there is no role of tte in given tatkal seva, so plz dont blame mevhanism and abuse this good service
