[Resolved] Nokia 3110c — Network problem | |
I was given my Nokia 3110c handset for updation of software on about 10 Nov.2009. After 15 days Nokia care had returned me my handset with updated software. Although software problem was resolved, the another problem is occured in this handset for coverage. (i.e. no service/network) in handset, where this was not a problem before software updation. Hence i resubmit my mobile for solving this problem of Network, on 27 Nov. 2009 & mobile was returned by Nokia care on 30 Nov. and said that the problem is solved. But the problem is as it is. There are no network signal shows properly. Where other mobile shows four signal, in that place my mobile shows only one signal and where other mobile shows two or three signals my mobile shows nil signal.So what is its problem.

i have purchase nokia3110c.first i use 512MB mmc then the folder in my card autometicaly deleted. when i insert 1GB memory cards my phone starting to restart again and again. then i have changed my MMC. i bought new 1GB MMC, One day suddenly my phone disolayed that "Memory card not formeted". when i formate it my card had been currupted. Now there is network problem. my phone displaying no network when my frnd's mobile displayed 2-3 network signal.

For the restarting problem:
You need to update your Nokia 3110c using the Nokia PC suite.
you can find it in their website. It's a free downloadable software
This can help prevent your phone from restarting again and again.
Another thing, you must leave up to 3MB free in you phone memory because one of the reasons why your phone is restarting is because of phone memory problem.
By the way i am using a 2GB MMC card, and my phone often restarts because of high memory but its ok because it only happens if i make errors in using Music player.
For the MMC problem:
try to use it in your computer using a memory card reader, if the computer detects it then it is probably still useful but if not then its not useful anymore. And if thats the case, you'll need to buy another MMC card
