[Resolved]  OSRTC Bus Service — Traveled Through OSRTC from Bhubaneswar to Kolkata :- Puri- Bhubaneswar AC Sleeper

I have purchased a ticket for me & my wife From OSRTC ticket counter Bhubaneswar (Barmunda Bus Stand) From Bhubaneswar to Kolkata for AC Sleeper vide ticked code number [protected] & serial number 46258 & 46259.The ticket Issued date is 26/09/2009 and the Journey date is 04/10/09.I have allotted the seat number 5x & 6x.
On 4th October i came to Barmunda Bus stand with my wife for my travel there Vehicle Number OR-02-AQ-6047 was there fro the trip to Kolkata. I get in to the Bus. There i saw the seat number 5 is totally wet due to water leakage. I have informed to at the ticked counter. There i got a reply the we cant do any thing. Pls inform at Enquiry. I have done the same. But the gentle men replied i can't do any thing. Then again i came to the ticket counter again requested to them to do some alternate that i have to travel over night. There they told that you get in to the bus we will arrange some alternate.
As per the Counter person i get in to the Bus. There the Conductor Mr. Suresh Kumar Sahu came i have informed to him about the Wet seat. He rudely & in a bad manner replied that if the seat is wet then what can i do why u get in to the Bus. You get down from the Bus. You should take the money refund from the ticket counter. I have requested him to arrange an alternative way. He used abused words & bad languages to me. Then i told him i will complain against you (Conductor) he replied in bad language that do what u can do no one can take any action from my office. And also told in Government organization no one will take action. I have traveled in the Wet seat up to kolkata. After that i have faced high feaver.

At the same time The AC was out of order. All the passenger have traveled with out AC. The Bus conductor has refunded Rs 50/-(Rupees fifty only) Per ticked per Passenger against the ticket (the conductor has taken back the ticket & gave refunded the money) due to Non working of AC. I also claimed the refund money from the Conductor but he replied badly that "you are going to complain against me" so you complain against me & go to the place where you have booked the ticket. You have not purchased the ticket from me then how can i refund the money. I have objected him & told that every one has not purchased the ticket from you then how come you refunded the money. In the reply he told that that upon me to whom i will refund & to whom not to refund.

I got a great bad experience on the OSRTC Bus service. And i decided that this journey in OSRTC is my last Journey

I request you to take serious action on the same. And also guide me for getting back the amount (For not working of AC)

Recently I booked a E-ticket from Bhubaneswar to Jeypure to journey on i.e. 18/10/2010 at about 6.15 pm. When I required about the AC, the staffs response was - "AC is damaged". (What is the meaning ?)
As passanger we pay more money to travel comfortly in a dust free environment. Otherwise we can book ticket in Private non-AC bus / Hitech bus of OSRTC.
It is a matter of great regret that my bus delay for more than 6 hours (Actually from 6.15 pm, bhubaneswar - 6.00AM, Jeypore) due to breakdown of A/c Bus for more than 3 times in the way.
You further be more astonised that the email ID of OSRTC not functioning. That is - [protected]@orissa.nic.in. If anyone will mail the response is no such ID exist.

Actually AC in OSRTC is a farse / false. If OSRTC really wants to provide passanger service he should withheld AC from the Bus service.
Sir(OSRTC authority) I request U to please help this gentleman and punish the the conductor as soon as possible.
Keep up the Orissa flag.Don't let it down.
