[Resolved] Passport — Delay in inquiry for Passport

Dear Sir, I, neha saxena, working since last two years in Gurgaon. My hometown is Rampur in UP hence i have applied for a passport in april' 2008 at Bareilly passport office. One inquiry has been done at my permanent residential address of Rampur. The second inquiry has also been done at my official address of Gurgaon. The application was sent to the Bareilly office and the officials made an objection regarding my Local Residential address of gurgaon which was initially not mentioned in the passport form. After that I have submitted the proof for my residential address of gurgaon in the police station as desired. But the inquiry for my residential address is still awaited. When i went to the passport office( mini secretariat ) gurgaon to know the status of my inquiry, the officials have told me that they have send the file to Bareilly passport office without any inquiry. Now I have filled the PP form & submitted it to the Bareilly Passport office. It has been 15 days for the same and my inquiry is still awaited.Please suggest the possible solution as passport is urgently needed. Regards, Neha Saxena Was this information helpful? No (0) Yes (0)

Sir this is about the non delivery of my passport Apll no. Dly HO-10690. Every time i check the inquiry status it is mentioned that "police report incomplete " How can u withhold a passport for indefinite period . How can even the police keep it pending indefinitely. Neither you can deprive a citizen from his or her rightful claim to acquire a passport and my passport is not altogether a new application It is infct the renewal. I was a passport holder since long. if i am not provided with my passport i may have to file a suit for damages against anyone resposible for this deliberate and totally illegal delayof several months. I submitted my passport application at Secunderabad regional passport office on[protected]. My file number is "A 049608'. Till date no police inquiry done. Passport office says file sent to Police, where as police reports that file not received from passport office.

I know lot of problem people are getting . I am one of them, waiting for my passport since June 2008.

I have applied passport in the month of Dec'09.As of now i didn't receive it.In online it was showing the status "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time" My Key no:[protected] and W236261.

Can you respond to me how to catch the status of my passport and anyguess how many days it will take despatch it to my address once i raise the complaint.
