Application is pending for want of Police Report.

I need passport ASAP. What should I do?

Hi sir
I applied for passport in Dec 09 my file no.was CHDZ361911/09. As i live in Gurgaon i did not got any response from passport office for many days
so I log a RTI application and through RTI i knew that my application is transferred to Delhi passport office file no is DLHH005287/10 and now online status is "Application is pending for police verification". No enquiry came to me on Gurgaon address so how would i know that in which police station my police verfication is came. please help me

I APPLIED PASSPORT FOR MY SON IN 3RD. JUN.2010, POLICE VERFICATION IS DON FROM MY SIDE THE OFFICE COME TO MY HOUSE AND TAKE ALL DOCUMENT WHICH HE REQUIRED BUT THE ONLINE STATUS SHOWING;

"APPLICATION IS PENDING FOR WANT POLICE REPORT"

THERE IS ANY TIME LIMIT FOR POLICE TO SUBMIT THE REPORT OF APPLICANT

Hi Sir,

I have applied for New Passport on July 8, 2010. Police has asked to go in the police station for verification and they have done verification with documents. But still status of passport on online site is showing pending from Police.

Status :- Application is pending for want of Police Report.


Can you pls revert, why it is pending ? If any document or steps required from my, side pls let me know so that i can get my passport soon.
