[Resolved] Postal Life Insurance — for duplicate bonds | |||
My name is B.V. Usha rani. I have 2 PLI policies. Unfortunately I lost my bonds. I made a request to PLI HYDERABAD branch to issue duplicate bonds and submitted all papers i.e., police complaint copy, indemnity bond, surities, 50/- receipts(2), xerox copy of pli books and declaration. I send all the papers in reg. post on 23-04-10. Till now I din't get any informatuion or duplicate bonds. MY a/c no's are AP170975-CS and AP223038-CS. When should I get the bonds? dear sir, iam a retired army person [cmp] in 1994 i have made a pli policy and i have received the bond. but that time i was too young to understand such kind of policy but still i dont remember the amount to which i have paid since .30 may 2009. after retirement only i thought of pli .now i dont have that bond and i have lost it. what is my further step. my army no 7778021w Ex/nk (mp) L vijayakumar bangalore pin 560025

Dear sir, iam a retired army person. from the regt (cmp) and i have made a PLI in 1994, and i have received the bond and unfortunately that bond i have lost it. from 1994 to 2009 may the deduction of pli per month was 113. please i want to continue the rest amount and also i need a transfer to my home town post office and i also in need of duplicate bond so please kindly help me what should i produce to continue my pli and the bond my pli policy no is APS-NM-125664-L

My name is MANICKAVASAHAN.I am a retired agricultural officer. I have made a PLI policy and i had paid a monthly amount of 617 rupees in the PLI account. Unfortunately, I lost my policy bond and also my account had attained its maturity at the month of February 2015. I like to do a maturity claim but as my policy bond is lost and policy had attained its maturity officers informed me that i cannot provide a normal indemnity bond on behalf of the lost policy bond, I have been informed that there is a separate bond for such maturity claims and we couldnt find that kind of maturity bond that much easier, and as these are rare cases. Kindly help me to resolve this problem.

But the same is not in proper way. People working in PLI CPC use to give both the format to every customer with instruction to prepare Indemnity bond on NJ court stamp paper tagging together both forms. Both the format contains many wrong words also.
Please arrange to correct the format for easy use of common customer as well as for the better knowledge of PLI. CPC. officials too.
