[Resolved]  Reliance Healthwise Policy — non-activation

sir, good day
i am sorry to say i feeled very bad exprience with dealing with reliance company. i had purchased reliance healthwise policy from web world sonepat(haryana) by giving a check of rs.999 no. 160762 of state bank patiala, gohana(haryana) on 22 jan 07, and that was debeted from my a/c on 06 feb 07.and a kit was issued to me of no.[protected].now when i contact for reneweval it was said this policy does not exisit and never activated. i had complained this to custemoer care and no. is 244844 18 jan,08 but no back responce till to day. personelly visited to web word sonepat, but not got any solution , contacted to mr. visal bhasker (sales manager ,panipat(haryana) mr. manish sharma r.s.m. chandigarh on mobile but no responce. now tell me what should i do ?
eiter go to media or to consumer court? what about expences of treatment of my wife which had taken from sir gagna ram hospital new delhi?

so pl tell me solution as early as possible.

I am Mrs. Jayati Ghorai Bhattacharya. I have taken a Reliance Health Wise Policy of Rs. 1 Lac in the month of February. 1st February 2008 Mr. Raj Kumar Shukla employee of Reliance General Insurance Company Ltd., Himalaya House (8th Floor), 38-B, J. L. Nehru Road, Kol – 71 has collected a cheque of Rs. 1300 (premium Amount) from me instead of giving me the policy kit. Later a lady from Kolkata office called me up and asked me the details to fill up the form. Over Phone I spelled out each and every detail such as name, spouse name, address, DOB etc. After waiting a long period I have received the computer generated copy of policy schedule and premium certificate from Mr. Raj Kumar Shukla and by speed post I have received the policy kit also. In the Policy schedule each and every details filled up by the Kolkata lady personnel is incorrect. I am sure she has some hearing problem. Because each and every details spelled out by me entered incorrect by this lady personnel. After that I called up Customer Care several times to solve my issue. My complaint nos. is 325957 and date is 20-2-08. Each and every time the customer care executive pick up the phone and give me the same assurance that your problem will be resolved within 72 hrs. But I am very sorry to say that my problem is not yet resolved. One day Priyanka Chatterjee of Kolkata Office called me up and requested to give the details by e-mail at her email address priyanka.[protected]@relianceada.com which I have attached below and on 21st Feb I have mailed my details to her. But I am very shocked that till date she has not yet opens my e-mail because if she opens my e-mail then and there I will get the receipt copy of her mail.

Again I called up Bombay customer care for solution and they give me the same dialogue that nothing is in their hand, they are just able to pass the message to Kolkata only. They also said that it is the duty of Kolkata people to solve this problem. I asked the customer care executive that if I want to cancel this policy then what will be the procedure. The answer I get from the guy is very shocking. He told me that 25% will be deducted from my premium amount. That means Rs. 1300 - Rs. 325 = Rs. 975 will be refund to me. But the thing is this is not my fault, then why 25% will be deducted from my total amount. For your kind information all these inconvenience created by you people not me.

I am very sorry to say that your service is very worst, pathetic that I have ever faced in my life. Employees of Kolkata are not cooperative at all. Feeling very bad to say that they are inefficient, nonproductive. A small example I am giving here is that the lady personnel who filled up my form does not know the spelling of NATIONAL, HOWRAH etc. Name of my husband is SAMARJIT GHORAI. So instead of writing SAMARJIT, she wrote it SAMARJITA. That means instead of male name she converted the name of my husband as a female name. These are the examples. Below I have attached the mail marked to Priyanka Chatterjee.

Now tell me what should I do right now? Eiter go to media/tv channel or to consumer forum or to tell each and every known person not to take any policy from Reliance?

Next time I shall not going to tell anybody to take any policy from Reliance as because the service you are giving to the people is worst and the employees especially the employees of Kolkata are not at all professional.

Please do the needful and please request Ms. Priyanka Chatterjee on behalf of me to atleast open the mail and get the correction done immediately

2. Husband’s name is SAMARJIT GHORAI instead of SAMARJITA GHORAI.

3. Residence address is P/102, NATIONAL PLACE, POST – BAKSARA, DIST – HOWRAH, PINCODE – 711110, WEST BENGAL, HOWRAH MUNICIPAL CORPORATION instead of P-102 NATIANAL GATE, PO BAKSARA, DIST. – HOWRA, HAORA (M CORP), WEST BENGAL – 711110.

4. Date of Birth of my husband is 09/01/72 instead of 09/01/74.

Please do the needful so that I can able to get the corrected Reliance Health Wise Policy Schedule asap.

No response from Kolkata Office till date.

I am very sorry to say that the service of Reliance and the employee of Reliance especially Kolkata are not able to solve a simple issue of me till date.

I have a Healthwise policy ( No[protected] .Four month earlier I applied for a new policy for my new born baby. But i didnt got it. Your Agent says that " I will give you tomorrow ". The next day he say the same sentence. What can I do. I give him Rs 1850 for 2 year policy(1 Lakh). my ph: [protected].
My wife was seriuosly ill and I went to the nearest hospital Gopi Hospital, Salem which coming under Reliance list of hospital for cashless facilities but to my horrifying experience they refused and told to pay advance and finally I ended up paying all the payments .Finally after sending my claim to the Office I am receiving the letter asking for other details which is practically not poosiblr.Reliance health Insurance is the worst and cheating type and I will never recommend to any of my friends

I hope this is disadvantaged to the customers benefit because in policy the period of insurance will be changed in every renewals but policies Number will remain same and constant. So that every customer’s will know that when their policies have stated. Kindly look into the matter and do needful amendment for customers welfare. I have contacted with your representative phone No.[protected] but they advice me and agreed to do with my request. Hope I will get your adequate reply at the earliest.

I am a reliance policy holder with policy number[protected]& Policy period 25/4/07 to 24/4/07. I gave a cheque to your agent for renewal of policy 2 days prior to policy expiry date. But I havent got my policy renewed yet, even after 2 moths. when I contacted Bangalore Reliance office they said your policy is not renewed so far, But your agent says my policy has been sent to bombay office for confirmation. As per him the delay is from your end(Reliance), Does the renewal takes 2 months? If any emergency hospitalization takes place what should we do in this case. Eventhough i have paid my premium on time for renewal, I dont have any insurance coverage at present.

I am Prodip Kumar Dutta, from Kolkata, I have Reliance general Insurance policy (no.[protected] which due date is 19.08.08 but till date I do not find any letter from company for renewal of the policy. My agent already leave company and I have problem to deposit the amount directly in Reliance office. If I get that Renewal Request letter then I can send cheeque by courier or any customer care office call me for renewal then I can request him to collect the cheque.

I feel the customer care of Reliance Insurance very bad and I have another bad experience with Reliance Land Line Phone also.

Reliance Healthwise Policy — Delay in Renewal

I am Rohit Saluja, resident of KARNAL(HARYANA) having a Health Policy last year. Policy no was[protected]. This policy had EXPIRED on[protected]. There was renual for this Policy, but no body was there from reliance for renewal that policy. After making so many calls from my side my broker who had done my policy last year, taken my cheque from me 0n[protected] and he was saying that he has no interest in Reliance Insurance, but he is taking cheque because i am forcing. After 15 days on[protected] i called to my broker that what happen to my Policy Renewal. then he said to me that he had already forwarded my cheque to concern person in reliance and now he has no idea about my Policy renewal, but he will cheque whether the renual had done or not. After five days on[protected] i again called him and asked the same and the answer was also the SAME. Then he give me a no of Reliance's Insurance Person, he asked me to call that no.for further query and said that i should stop calling him for this metter in future he will not pick my ph if i call him. He gave me a no [protected], that person was GURDEEP. He told me yes he had got my cheque but due to some reasons he did't forwaded for renewal now he will forward it. on that day the date was[protected]. My policy was already EXPIRED due to ignorance of YOUR staff. Now i asked that whether he will forward my cheque for Renewal or not tell me clearly beacause if he will not do this i woll make my insurance to another company, ha asked no he will do. After again five days i called Gurdeep for renewal he said he was forgot and he will do next day. Next day agin i called and agin he was forgot than he asked me in anger that if I WILL MAKE HURRY THEN HE WILL CANCELL MY POLICY AND RETURN MY CHEQUE AS WELL so stop calling him. See the way he is taking to a customer. Now the story begans, i called the Person name VISHAL his contact no is [protected]. i told him all the problem that i was faced. The person is Manager of PANIPAT BRANCH. KARNAL BRANCH comes under this MAN. He asked he will solve my metter as soon as possible, But YOUR STAFF IS SO QICK IN WORK that my policy is STILL NOT RENWED ON[protected] AFTER A MONTH AND 20 DAYS PAST. Now the person VISHAL who is Branch Head is not picking my ph. and no body is giving any RESPONSE. Now i made last try i go to internet i i take a custmer care no i called there and Note my problem the customer care exective's name was KEDAR and my complain no is 536842. He gave me this mail id also for any query or request or complaint what ever i have.

now i told you all the story and i am giving the written complaint to you about these THREE NICE PEOPLE, who had made THE WORST EXPERIANCE FOR ME FOR RELIANCE INSURANCE. AND still nobody will not take any step against them then your should shame on you and your syatem . You people are responsible for all this beacause its all done in your GOOD MANAGEMENT. Reliance Healthwise Policy — Not Recived Policy documents

Sir i revavial your policy for second year, I recived your kit but till date i diden't recived policy documents.I alredy told your agent Mr. Bikas, meny times but he told me to complaint your problem to our main office Bombay .
I required this document for income tax purpose and written proof.

Hi... This is Anjana Wadhwa having policy no.[protected]. Cashless claim is submitted by R.K.Hospital on dt. 27.09.0. According to TPA which is Medi Assist, we don't have your previous policy which is[protected] taken by me on aug'07

they are giving good reason to me that you can't claim within 30 days form the date of policy. In this case they are not providing cash less facility to me

Reliance Healthwise Policy — Renewal notice not received

The insurancePolicy No.[protected] &346 expires on 24th Oct.2008. But I have not received any renewal notice from the company. In this context I have called up few representatives on 23rd Oct.2008 but in vain. None of them have called me back. Please look into it .

I am facing same problem as discussed above, I have approached to Mr. Karan of Belapur branch for renewal of policy No.[protected] however, he fails to collect the check in spite of giving various time. Further I have contacted in the Belapur branch no action taken by them till time.My policy will expire of 21/02/2009 and I am worry abourt of policy renewal. You are requested to do the needfull before expiry of the policy.

Reliance HealthWise Policy Schedule — did not receive the policy papers and health card

I haven't received my policy papers and health card till now. policy start date is 13th February 2009 . i ad complained about it numerous time to the customer care still i am waiting for any action from their part.
