I too had applied for 225 shares. When I checked up in Karvy website, it is mentioned that 17 shares are allotted. But till date I neither received the refund nor the allotted shares are credited to my Demat A/c.

I strongly feel when email or fax is not replied from any office it is better they close down their office.

Refund of the Reliance Power IPO.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have applied for 75 shares (full payment) of Reliance power IPO but out of them I alloted 17 shares (it appears in karvy allotment site) but strange to know it did'nt come in my DP a/c till yet on the other hand I still waiting for my refund amount. I made an enquiry at the local office of Karvy Computershare Pvt. Ltd (Bhopal) to know the reason but they are not able to give suitable reply.

Is it fair on their part not to return my money in time? This kind of delays will dampen the spirits of the investors and make them think twice or not apply at all for IPO's. Personally I am disappointed.

I also applied 225 shares niethr shares given nor amount refunded. imade complaint to Sebi .they forwarded my complaint to karvy .This is very quick action by SEBi and also appriciable .It seems amount would be refunded only through legal action

I have applied in Reliance Power Ltd. IPO vide application no.43129880 by cheque no. 143350 of The catholic syrian Branch Ulhasnagar dated 18/1/2008 of Rs./51600- and applied for 120 Shares. The company have alloted me 15 Shares. but I have checked the status in my Dp account i have not received the share in my account and the refund cheque issued to me is with a wrong name . So please do me favour to solve my complaint as early as possible.
