[Resolved]  SBI Bank ATM — Transaction Declined but money did not appear

ICICI & SBI Bank — Transaction declined by ATM, money not refunded

Dear Sir/Madam:

I am an existing ICICI Bank customer for the last 8 years (A/c No.[protected]. As per RBI regulations, I am free to use my debit card on any bank's ATM from 01/04/2009. I used my ICICI bank debit card on an SBI ATM (Rohini Sector 13 DDA Market) to withdraw Rs. 1000. That transaction was declined by the ATM. I then proceeded to ICICI Bank ATM at ICICI Branch, DC Chowk, Sector 9, Rohini, and withdrew the amount from that ATM. However, when I checked my balance around 2 days after that, it showed that Rs. 1000 was deducted twice from my A/c on that same date. When I contacted ICICI bank, I was told that it will take around two months to get my Rs. 1000 reverted back to my account.

I hope you please look into the matter and kindly clarify.

The same problem has occurred with me when i went to axis bank atm to with draw money from my state bank atm card, so what is best advice is with draw money from the same bank atm machine instead of any other bank, because the risk of technical errors will be less.

I am an account holder in sbi bank, Kosamba branch. On 30th June I've tried to withdraw 3000Rs. from Cosmos bank Atm. But that transaction failed and money was not withdrawed. then I withdraw money from Sbi atm but I found that 3000 Rs. which was not withdrawed, was debited from my account. I've draft complaint for the same but even today I didn't got my money back.

So here I kindly request you to return my money as early as possible..

Currently i am in leave i say in dombivali EAST in Maharastra and also holding account no[protected] in SBI Dombivali East (07124). Yesterday on 26 Oct 2009 at 11.53am i swiped my ATM card No[protected] a/c nO[protected] at SBI Dombivali ATM Centre for transaction a sum of Rs 15000/- as per copy of print TXN no 8727 dt 26/10/2009 at 11.53am and massage is sorry unabble to process, I tried again althrough the amount was debited my account but dident received cash Rs 15000/-. I also gave a complant in SBI Dombivali ATM Officer Mr Sunil Nimje and Custmar Care Service No [protected], [protected], I have called many times But they dident gave any response. I therfore request u to kindly look into the matter and do needful as soon as possible.

I am an account holder in sbi bank, Palakkad, Kerala.
I swaped the card(14th Nov 09) in a boutique Bangalore for Rs.440/- that swapping machine screen displayed transaction declined.I tried again but the same thing happened. Then I tried to withdraw money from SBI Atm Rs.400/- (today morning) as a result of which a transaction slip came out saying sorry unable to process. In that slip no response code.

kindly consider the case as soon as possible
