[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson G900 — Poor Mobile front panel design for which I had to pay

Hi,

I bought the mobile in August, 2008. After few months in October, first that Stic on the front panel above the keypad came off and then a panel on receiver side came off and then issues with touch screen. The mobile never fell from my hands.

So finally i had to spend Rs 1300 to get entire front panel. Its just 3 days now and again the STIC has come off.

What is the need to have a STIC at that place? Its a damm poor design by sony ericson. Really shameful of the company to do this poor designing.

Also when there is no damage to the phone, i believe the panel should be covered under warranty or else consumeers will have to pay for their poor designs.

This is the fourth handset of SE i am using, and say 8th in my family. We buy SE coz of the great music it provides. But when it come to design, we have to think a lot before selecting one.

To add another point, I found another lady at Sony Ericsson Service center, Andheri, Mumbai from where i bought the new panel having same STIC issues.

The issue is if we remove the STIC, the black color/paint below that STIC also comes off with time.

Sonyericsson/ G900 — Poor service center

I am having a lot of trouble getting my G900 serviced from authorized service center. My phone was under warranty & had some problem as the display contrast was changing and the phone was restarting automatically everytime. When handed the phone to, Siri Communications, Khairtabad, Hyderabad, they replaced the display on on Oct 5 2009 for work order#SE309SI111691 (The back cover was damaged by the technicians while repairing the mobile). Again the handset had the same problem in the month of January & the phone was handed over to them for work order #SE310SI110787 on Feb 25 2010 & even this time the display was changed according to them for which I was not convinced. I again had the same problem in the month of March & this time I consulted with another Sonyericsson authorized service center who told that the mother board was faulty. The supervisor from Siri Communications told me that he shall get the mother board replaced & I was provided a manual receipt(The serial number is 3421) & they are saying that there is no stock of motherboard & shall inform when it shall be done. it has been more than 2 months now. I am really fed up of this now. Please help me.

I have given my Sony ericsson G 900 mobile to service centre at Delhi as its touch screen was not working and i was unable to receive any call & its battery back up was also low.
I had submitted my set on 01.07.2010 and i was given complaint id no.SE310CTM11586 n i was told that touch screen will be replaced within 7-10 days.no any software backup the mobile data & no any help call centre.

I had visited service centre 4 times & every time they say its not repaired/they dont have parts & it will take another week. This is going on for 4 weeks.

i asked them about any higher official to talk but no give me no, .

I had even logged my complaint to their call centre no.[protected], but they also keep on saying that its not repaired yet.

And now i want a new hand set from Sony ericsson as my hand set is still under warranty, so please provide me any e mail id of sony ericsson services to log my complaint or please forward it to them.

Siri Communications — Poor service

I would like to get into your notice that the service provided by the sony ericsson service center are really disappointing the customers with their responce, i have hand over my sony errison mobile in authorized service center(Siri Communications, Khairthabad, Hyderabad) of sony errison model no.w395 the complain no :4294 as the mobile had water damage problem, they promised to give it back in week days and its almost 45 days and there is no news of getting the mobile back yet, when i follow up they still say that the part is not yet available.

I assume that this is the delay from the Sony Ercison side, i have used many other mobiles like nokia and the service is excellent.

so what exactly do u want me to do???? i hope the required action will be taken as early as possible so that none of the other customers will face such problems. Looking forward for your response on the same.

Sony Ericsson G-900 — Repairing not on Time

Dear Sir/Madam

I Have purchased a Mobile Handset of Sony Ericssion with G900 with IMEI Serial no - [protected].

The same Handset has undergone for repairing on 30th July 2010 to authorized service center which is located at Janakpuri District Center.at the time of submission they have committed to reapir the same in 7 working days. but now when i follow up for my handset ....they are again asking for 15 more days to repair the same.

Sony Ericsson G900 — Not yet repair almost 2.5 months

Hi,

My name is LALITESHWAR JHA staying in noida. I had given my phone for repair in Lajpat Nagar sony ericsson service center on 29/1/2011 & till today (16/4/2011). I have not received any update regarding the phone. No, feedback is given for my phone is very dissappionted on the company part.
Now i am planning to go on legal way. Complaint to police station & to fast track court.

Request to kindly look into the matter from your end.
