[Resolved] Standard Chartered Manhattan Platinum Card — False promises while making sale... | |
While getting this card made from Standard Chartered I had specifically asked them the amount of cash back and they said the Manhattan Platinum Card provides you with flat 5% cash back on all transactions above Rs. 500 on all departmental stores and supermarkets, on asking the list of such stores the executive did not provide me a concrete list, but said vaguely, "Sir all departmental stores like BigBazaar, Lifestyle, Shopper's Stop", I again asked for a complete list but that was all he could tell me. So I went ahead and used the card at Lifestyle but go no cash back and I asked help desk and the executive says Lifestyle is not a departmental store. I am going to get this card canceled for false hood that they purport. Please don't use Standard Chartered credit card at all, I am more happy with transparent system of ABN Amro Titanium Credit Card, I recommend that to anyone looking for a good cash back card. we have redem 2 cell phones in manhattan one is nokia and anthr 1 is maxx i redeemd nokia cell last 12 daz above it was not came 2 us andd maxx cell hasredeemed before 5 daz by me plz undertake this complaint nokia cell ordeer number is [protected] and maxx cel order number is [protected].

Perhas in Credit Card I feel Standard Chartered is the best. As far as Cashback is concerned If you go through the brochure, it is clearly mentioned that All Stores which are registered as "Departmental" like ebay, Subiksha, Sabka Bazar and many others are entitled to cashback if the order is more than 500 and your total discount is not more than 500. In fact I am using 2 other cards also like HDFC (a kind of cheater) they says 5% cashback on your irctc sale with terms of monthly bill > 35000/-. They even charged 99 + taxes for membership for petrol waiver but now they say sale must be > 400. I do have citibank also but they are charging 2500 + taxes yearly for JP miles which can be redeemed for Air Ticket. Finally I do believed Standard Chartered is the best one except the word use "Total Damage"...
