SBI Credit Card — False outstanding bills

Dear Sir,

I would like to make complaint against the SBI Credit Card for harassing me by making threatening calls on my mobile from 2006 for a payment for which I had never given my consent.

A credit card bearing No.[protected] was issued to me in the first quarter of 2005. From this credit card, I made only three transactions:

1. For filling petrol in my car amounting to Rs. 985/- for which I made payment vide cheque no. 163228 of ICICI Bank amounting to Rs. 985/- which was realized by SBI on 27.5.05.

2. Two purchases were made by me on 17.2.06 from Ritu Wears amounting to Rs. 505/- and from NTC amounting to Rs. 300/-. For these. I made payment through a combined cheque of ICICI Bank amounting to Rs. 805/- bearing cheque No. 224886 which was realized by SBI on 20.3.06.

After that, I made no transaction. But without my consent, a health policy of an amount Rs. 2, 880/- was imposed on me by the SBI Credit Card and sending me the false bills. I request the SBI to cancel this policy and my above credit card vide my letters dated 24.2.06 and 20.4.06. I also deposited the crushed card in the drop box but still till date they are harassing me for a payment for which I had no link and and I had never been consented. From 2006 to till date they have raised this amount upto 14, 000/-. So many times I contacted the SBI Credit card Customer Care but they never listened to me instead they harrased me and threatened me on phone from time to time.

I, therefore, request you to help me from this.

i am having credit card no. [protected], i have received a wrong bill amounting to rs.929/-which i never used, for this cheating by sbi under protest i am surrendering this credit card with immediate effect, i also want to know the byerules how you are charging such fake amounts, i also wants to know the names of persons responsible for this fraud so that i can move into suitable legal forum, against them.further i also want to close my all savings accounts with sbi, please treat this as urgent, being a very old customer of sbi, never faced such instance and that was the reason i relied upon sbi being good nationalised bank

This is Shekar.My Experience with SBI Bank is Worst.Its a Worst Service they provide especially AC Guards SBI Bank.To Deposit or to take cash from the Bank we had to wait for 1hr.That is the great service they provide and moreover if we complaint to the manager regarding this he didn't even care about that, First thing Manager and the branch manager doesn't have the sense, that if few account holders gives complaint regarding this he didn't even think about that he vl argue with the persons who is giving complaints.This is too much and too rediculous.

I ankit joshi working in IT company Bangalore i done a transaction in KSRTC bus stop at Bangalore i did 300 rs. of transaction but nothing come out from the ATM and i got the "unable to process" on ATM screen i come out from that place but next day i found that 5000 rs have been deducted from my balance i complained againzed this thansection in haibbal SBI branch Bangalore but the manager of that branch was not responding properly. its mater of 19/08/2008 i continually trying for my money but no buddy in responding me nether my branch person(KOTA RAJASTHAN) nor Bangalore branch.

I recieved my roll number via email and it says the call letter has been dispatched but if you do not receive the call letter collect it from the adress mentioned in the form, but you tell it would be huge incovenience to go to Mumbai and collect the call. As per instructions of RBI rules, it is not necessary to produced PAN compulsarily. The photo identiy is required- either Election card or Ration card or passport. For example 1. I. I went to Police Station more than 100 times, made 5times entries (complaints) into G.D. but Not even a microscopic actions took place against the alleged bodies. No.[protected] just opposite to my house, all the matters are known to every person in my village, and also they have certified me written about my fresh character and nature. When my wife left form my house taking many vory gold and cash 1.20 lack Indian rupees. What a demon she is! She didn’t take our only daughter (only four years old) who is now in my house having severe asthma supported by inhaler. Now I decided that in no way I can’t accept that demon wife. I hired a lawyer his name Mr. Kamelash Nandi. I don’t know what will be happened next? It’s an utterly a huge and a palpable offence subsequent to which the boy deserves severe and examplanary punishment so that no one can dare to abuse this law. My mother is a sugar present shies sugar is now 400. If possible please help me. Please investigate the matter thread barely and save me and my family. I leave here one question to every one that in this die-straits situation whom do I take care to myself (TRAGEDY), my daughter, or my mother(severe Diabetic)?. The Ld. court has given the judgment to provide 1500/month.I am millions miles away from the genuine and authentic investigation and inquiry. No inquiry, investigation were executed against the F.I.R lodged by my wife. It is very painful, lamentable as well as heart rendering, breath taking affair to me and my family. My heart bursts into guffaw when I see the nature of the inquiry and investigation. One thing is as clear as crystal to me that the law and the task of the law enforcing agencies vary from man to man. A new proverb is going to take birth very soon that "Justice for the rich and Injustice is for the poor" A rich reserves the right to indulge in any kind of heinous business but the poor is restricted to involve in any type of excellent deeds" To see all these my heart is about to come in the mouth and the ground under my feet gets shook. gold card — Harrased !

I had applied for this HDFC card somewhere in March 2007 and for the first two months didnt have any problems and paid the Minimum dues regulary, its then I started seeing the true colors of the banks customer service. I first started having issues with the Bank after 5months, they were rude. Finally I couldnt bear the experience I had decided to settle the card and asked the bank to give a full and final settlement towards the card. So I contacted one of their local collection managers and informed him, he straight away denied to settle the card. I didnt know about banking policies and procedures etc then, so I didnt take any action against them, because till then I have paid almost Rs.25000 towards the card. Seeing the kind of service i received from the bank I decided not to pay their dues.

Now it has been 7months since I have not paid any dues towards the card, till then they used to call up on a landline and continuously torture my family at home and abuse in foul language. One fine day they landed up at my address as a group of 5people and wanted to pick a fight with my family. I was not at home when this happened.

Since this issue was getting nowhere I decided to get deep into banking policies, its that when I found what the bank did was very wrong and not permissible as per RBI guidelines. For eg, to send thugs to a customers house and threaten the people living there and to make such abusive calls. So I decided to file a complaint at their website indicating the hardships I have been through. What I received in reply was nothing satisfying, just that they said that i owe the bank another Rs.66, 000.

I am going to call them today and see if they really want to settle the card and proceed from there. I will also speak a Banking Ombudsman and take the issue from there.

My SBI card validity is over by 01/09
I have not received the revalidated card till today. On enquery I have been getting the reply for the last few occasions "You will receive the card within one week" Weeks and months passed.
More over I am getting the monthly statements with deductions for the premium that too without a valid card. I am verymuch doubt that my card is getting misused from your side.
I request you to take very serious action to those involved in this. I may be able to get a proper explanation why this delay from your side,

A couple of days back somebody from the SBI Cards Division introduced and told something to me in Hindi
which I am not conversant or not having any knowledge and I told yes when asked whether I am Balasubramaniam. Today I found that my card has been charged with Rs.6000 and odd for some package.
I contacted your customers centre at Delhi who asked me to contact Chennai Office;But the person
in charge at the Chennai office bluntly refused to my request and when my uncle who tried to explain the
matter was also insulted by that gentleman and I am very sorry that a customer who doesnot have proper
knowledge in Hindi is being unnecessarily made to run from pillar to post for just cancelling the offer
which was unknowingly accepted due to langauage problem is very much regrettabble.A reputed bank
SBI is not respecting sentiments of customers and the irresponsible staff whatsoever his rank may be
is very much regrettable.Kindly advise me as to what to do further.I am with a heavy heart sending this

SBI does the same thing always.. Fishing service is their service.. i too have a gold and more chipset card which is good for nothing and i an not using it.. Moreover if your are staying in mumbai who bothers of SBI there are many more plenty of other cards which you can get...SBI is the least best card to keep in wallet.
