[Resolved]  Sun Direct — Online complaints

This is Dominic Mathew residing at 3/12 Ex-Service men's colony, First street, Adambakkam, Chennai-600088. I've taken a Sun Direct Connection on 28/06/2008 in my father's name (Henry Manoharan), for one year subscription. The smart card no. is[protected]. For the past 3 weeks, I could not receive any signal and getting error messages only (E16, E48, etc.) I have been ringing the customer service for the past 3 weeks[protected]. No one responded for first 2 weeks. While I enquired the dealers, they told that they are relocating the entire setup. From the third week I got the direct consumer service line and I have been complaining repeatedly. Even if they picked up the call, they do not send any of the service technicians. I have made more than 100 calls (both from my landline and Mobile). Also, I've informed them that I'm going to complaint in consumer court. Till now no response. Could you please assist me regarding the same?

I regret to state that your service at Bangalore is totally Hopeless, Irresponsible and Non-responsive.
As well your people here are very offensive and Arrogant

On 15th Aug 2017 right before our National Flag was to be hoisted by our beloved Prime Minister, the Network telecasting WENT-OFF denying the Fundamental right of the Indian Citizen and when complained the stock answer of " It will resolved by 48 hrs ", which means that the FLAG HOISTING CEREMONY cannot be viewed on that very day. I don't think any body has such a right to execute and disappoint any citizen and the service provider is bound to give a suitable response as well cannot take the SUBSCRIBER FOR GRANTED !!

However after two days a technician ( Identity not revealed ) Ph No : [protected] talks to me over phone in an arrogant manner directing me to bear with the inconvenience caused since I am not the only but there are many others too ! What authority he has to behave and talk like that unless there is a big support from the higher-ups ? Another big LACUNA from your end is that another supposed to be technician whose Ph No : [protected] still arrogantly told me give Rs 250/ as visiting charges for which he bluntly told me that the regular practice at Sun Direct is that they don't issue any RECEIPT FOR ANY CHARGES THEY TAKE !! How can this be ? I just want to know whether SUN DIRECT IS ABOVE LAW ?

More than all I am really more fed-up with the hopeless Net Work service of Sun Direct Net Work here at Bangalore as well the attitude of your people, who think that they are doing some Charity to the subscribers and not the service which they are legally very much expected to do.

The heavy disturbance in the telecasting has become very frequent and unbearable, as such I very much regret to state that I have construed and forced to complain before The Hon'ble Consumer Complaints Redressal Forum - B'lore Urban under The Consumer Protection Act of 1986 and seek justice as well claim damages for the opportunity denied of viewing the NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE DAY CEREMONY as well NATIONAL FLAG HOISTING EVENT, this is a fundamental right of every citizen and no one has any right to deny without any prior information.

I also don't understand the dictum of Sun Direct asking the subscriber to wait for 48 hours for resuming the network that too in these technically advanced days, where in every malfunctioning can be set-right just by the CLICK OF A BUTTON provided needed Infrastructure is installed, but because of the very poor and obsolete Infrastructure functioning at your organisation you are very cleverly passing-on the buck over the subscriber who is paying money and for which you are not giving the required & expected service, which act is definitely questionable in the Consumer Forum and the law is equal to all and no body is above the law.

Because of the reasons cited above, I have decided not to continue or subscribe to SUN DIRECT NETWORK in disgust after being a subscriber for more than SIX YEARS and opt out.

I trust, I would certainly get a proper response in this regard within seven days failing which I shall definitely proceed with the process of legally approaching The Hon'ble Consumer Complaints Redressal Forum - B'lore Urban and request to initiate necessary legal action on the Service Provider i.e., SUN DIRECT NETWORK.

This mail or feed back should be considered as a Notice prior to Filing a complaint before the Hon'ble Forum as per the I C P Act 1986.

Sundirect — NOT ATTENDING FOR COMPLAINT EVEN AFTER CALLING 20 TIMES

My costumer Id is [protected] and I has TAKEN SUNDIRECT CONNECTION since last 05 years Approox. Now Since one and half month most of the channels are not coming and screen appearing to register complaint. I had complained to customer care from 07.10.2017 onward, till now at least 20-25 times I have registered complained and wasted my money through telephone calls and till now no one attended the complaint to rectified it, Whenever I called they say we will send their technician for visit . But no technician never ever visited to home for rectification of the problem. Kindly expedite the complaint otherwise I will disconnect you DTH connection and sift to some other DTH...my contact no. is [protected]..

I PAID USUAL monthly subscription of Rs 559/ they blacked out all channels for a

week .With my prolonged effort i got basic channels . In fact all my channels which

i was watching earlier have gone . They are giving me only free channels .

I TRIED MORE THAN 100 TIMES (EVERY DAY) THEIR ALL PHONE NUMBERS BUT INVAIN.

WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN ANY INDUSTRY ANYWHERE IN INDIA

Not getting the valid no. Of channel of My recharge package...

A am getting a worst experience with suntv direct services...
1. Even after recharge and the money was deducted I was not getting my services renewed for nearty 18 hrs.. and this is the 3rd time I m facing this problem.

2. I recharged for odia value pack with rs. 208 but I am not getting to view the listed number of channels in the package..

Plese look into the problem and try to resolve it as soon as possible.. bcoz every time after recharge I m facing a new type of problem.
