[Resolved]  Sun Direct — Online complaints

This is Dominic Mathew residing at 3/12 Ex-Service men's colony, First street, Adambakkam, Chennai-600088. I've taken a Sun Direct Connection on 28/06/2008 in my father's name (Henry Manoharan), for one year subscription. The smart card no. is[protected]. For the past 3 weeks, I could not receive any signal and getting error messages only (E16, E48, etc.) I have been ringing the customer service for the past 3 weeks[protected]. No one responded for first 2 weeks. While I enquired the dealers, they told that they are relocating the entire setup. From the third week I got the direct consumer service line and I have been complaining repeatedly. Even if they picked up the call, they do not send any of the service technicians. I have made more than 100 calls (both from my landline and Mobile). Also, I've informed them that I'm going to complaint in consumer court. Till now no response. Could you please assist me regarding the same?

I've Requested for SD to HD Migration after 2weeks one technician came and taken Rs.1000 and given new Setup box with same old smart card said it will work after 4 Hrs and went.The smart card no. Is [protected].I could not receive any signal and getting error messages only (E48-32 No Network, etc.) And now technician is asking for extra Money for the Receiver, and till now I'm not able to View channels I have been ringing the customer service for the past 3 weeks ([protected]&Toll free 1800XXXX). No one responded. I have been complaining repeatedly. technician is disconnecting My calls.I have made more than 20 calls. Also, I've informed them that I'm going to complaint in consumer court. Till now no response. Could you please assist me regarding the same?

My Name is James Varghese, I have take a sundirect connection for past 3 years. In a year we have been changed our set top box three time. per time they are charging 500 rupees & three months warranty. Last time my set top box changed on end of December'14, yesterday onwards its not working. After four month set top box again fault.So please provide minimum 5-6 month warranty & change this set top box free of cost.
The customer service is also not responding properly.
please ensure my problem and slove it as early as possible.

I have take sun DTH since 4 Years my smart card number is [protected]R and the service given by the company is pathetic. Their question regarding verification is childish like whether I can know your smart card number do you want to include other number as register number may I know your name and address (all is asked)...but when you ask about your complain it may be said that it is cancelled as if within 48 h no body attends the complain it is cancelled automatically; a costumer will have to pay thrice or 4 times for the same complain telling that this is between a customer and technician ; to my surprise once technician was charging for an item which was replaced just ten days back it was viewed in camera that he has not changed the item rather he has was charging money when bill was shown and technician apologised and went ...their attitude at the time of recharge is quite good but whenever I go for a complain this takes about at least 10 minutes in narrating the problem also the reply is unprofessional and they donot allow customer to tunnel upto higher authority the recharge money goes waste.
Being in defence I get very less time in such trifle work but this time I have made my mind to take stern action against the company.

My card no. [protected] and my set-up box is not working and I made the complaint on 14th April 2015 and made two calls per week and spoken to their senior executives. Neither no technician called or visited yet. Sun Direct is one of the worst DTH providers in India. I can be reached on [protected]. Now finally have decided to approach consumer court.

My sun direct is not working and it is showing 'searching for signal' for 2days.what to do?
On 22.5.2015 I had recharge through sub direct web site for Rs. 1050 but the amount should not be credited in my account on that date. After that we contacted the customer care and they told that " you will recharge again, the amount which was debited may refunded to you" After their promise I had recharge against for Rs. 1260/- The amount of Rs. 1260/- has been credited in my sub direct account but the previous amount of Rs. 1050 has not been refunded to me till date. We contact the customer care of the sun direct for several times there is any action has not been taken by the sun direct. Hence we are not at all satisfied with your service.
My sundirect setup box number is [protected] since many days our signal strength is less than 60%...even though I have a HD setup box and took 3 months mega pack. I took this Sun Direct HD connection in month & year of March 2015.

Please try to look into this issue or else I will take a serious action against you.

Since many days I am getting the error code on my television display as E48-32 and E50-32 but nobody is responding and if they repond also they are asking for the amount even though they said it is free of service for one year.

No action and no information from your helpline number. I have sent sms to helpline number. Persons attended the helpline were byname Sujatha and Rajeswari. Then what is to be done next ? The issues that i faced by your service are fron the time of December 2014.
I had recharged the sun direct for Rs 200 and called the customer care they replyed to recharge by Rs.210 to activate as the connection was not active or you can active it in other month the balance would carry forward but no such happened .The scheme was activated in December but no channels were active in our TV.

After 3 mnths i just activated SUN DIrect by recharge of Rs 210 & called the customer care they had activated the scheme but still its the same it show the error "50-32 Searching signal".So I called up again the customer care they asked me to click on MENU -> ADVANCED ACTION-> opening the code 0000->RESET CHANNELS . After that the entire channels are gone it keeps on searching channels .I have already launched 2 to 3 complains but still no service is done from SUN DIRECT .

A technician had called me after 4 days of complaint and ensured me that
he would come by next day itself but still no service is provided if called back to him he gives reasons, Its been 5 days now no Service.

Sundirect not responding to complaints.
My smart card no.[protected] and I want my present connection to be changed to HD since I have purchased HD TV. In this regard I have given a request ( Rq no. 1-[protected]) on 18/6/2015 at 10:00am. I was informed that in 24 hrs will be connected. Again on 19th morning again I was informed service will be provided on that day. Today 20th also I have contacted through helpline and received a promise that the service will be provided today but nobody attended.
I don't understand what and where is the problem? Your helpline staff are even not bothered to inform the customer about the problem. When ever contacted a new person replies (Sujatha, Rajeswari & Dinesh) and promises. I don't know how many days I have to wait? At least can you reply or I may have to abuse you and your staff for not caring the customers. To day on 21st also no response.
