[Resolved]  Sun Direct — Online complaints

This is Dominic Mathew residing at 3/12 Ex-Service men's colony, First street, Adambakkam, Chennai-600088. I've taken a Sun Direct Connection on 28/06/2008 in my father's name (Henry Manoharan), for one year subscription. The smart card no. is[protected]. For the past 3 weeks, I could not receive any signal and getting error messages only (E16, E48, etc.) I have been ringing the customer service for the past 3 weeks[protected]. No one responded for first 2 weeks. While I enquired the dealers, they told that they are relocating the entire setup. From the third week I got the direct consumer service line and I have been complaining repeatedly. Even if they picked up the call, they do not send any of the service technicians. I have made more than 100 calls (both from my landline and Mobile). Also, I've informed them that I'm going to complaint in consumer court. Till now no response. Could you please assist me regarding the same?

had recharge addon chanell ipl sony espn i hav recharged 2 times yesterday and i call ur custmuer exucutive he told recharge is successfull d but chenels is not showing

This is Bijay from Bangalore, My Sun Direct card no is [protected] . To this smart card i have recharged Rs 260/- on 14/04/2016 . But has not activated, i have trying to called costumer care and made my connection activated, when i called to the costumer care it's, busy But Once again i have called to the costumer care but it's always busy that no . i have lost from my mobile so i ned to change my no please activated new mob no is [protected] and the service is also very varest . please i am requesting you sir activate m y smart card and can i call me at once to my phone . Very weak signal for few channels after 8 pm. Not few almost all other than colours, star plus, zee tv zoom .and all kannada channels. We usually get time only after 7 pm. But wat s d use of this? Not satisfied with your service. Better not to rate.you don't deserve any stars.

Sundirect — NOT ATTENDING FOR COMPLAINT EVEN AFTER CALLING SEVERAL TIMES

I had Sun direct Connection.Smart Card no :[protected]
On 16th April'16 i received an error on the Screen E604 (Smart Card Failure). So i registered a complaint on the Similar day and they said the technician will visit within 48 hrs and resolve the problem. In-spite of continuous followup the problem was not sloved till date. The only response from the customer care people that is wait for some more time. Neither the technician responded to the problem.
Such a bad service was no provided by any company. This is the worst experience with Sun direct. I would recommend to not opt for sun direct service.

This is Bharathi. set box number [protected] I am from Bangalore I had recharged every month Rs 240/- every 3 months customer care person telling like this month its increasing service charges so you want to recharge 280 rupee .Last month i recharged for Rs 260/-. they will disconnect 2 days before.
why i have to pay extra recharge amount and u should inform by massage What the hell going bad customer care negligence and ill treatment.


All sun direct customer please go to Tata sky.
Please do not take sun direct bad management.

i recharged with 249 is on 4th, May 2016 at 9:16:29sec pm as per your record in sun direct.but still i did not received network.what is the hell is doing.
your all toll free and mobile numbers which you are provided in various site includes sun direct site its not working properly.
what is the penalty will you provide if it is late connectivity after billing to your account.

This is k janardhan from Hyderabad, My Sun Direct card no is [protected] . To this smart card i have recharged Rs 249 /- on 12/05/2016 . But has not activated, i have called to the costumer care and made my connection activated, it cost me Rs 10 /- when i called to the costumer care it's fine, But with in 24 hrs again they have deactivated why . Once again i have called to the costumer care but there is no use . still i have not activated why . due to this i lost Rs 25 /- . This is not fair, totaly Rs 35/- i have lost from my mobile and the service is also very varest . Totaly i have lost Rs 249/- + Rs 35/- from u r company service . please i am requesting you sir activate my smart card and can i call me at once to my phone . SUN DIRECT CABLE SERVICE IS WORST.

i AM USING THE SUN DIRECT HD SINCE LAST 3 YEARS. It is always an interrupting cable operator. Many times ( especially in rains, even for drizzling, it will get disconnected. Many channels are hanging. On calling the customer service, they sent service personnel & charge for each trips.

Still worst case is on recharging with SUN Direct channel, it won't get updated. again we have to call the customer service for getting regularized.

Even though I have taken HD connection, after sometimes they them self changed to ordinary.

Any how I am discontinueing SUN DIRECT from today (21.05.2016)

I suggest all reader, think twice before going for SUN DIRECT.

I have sundirect connection it's some signals problems.. Customer support they are taking complaints three times I gave complaints but they not resolved the problem.. And closed the complete. I loss money 600 . this is froud of sundirect connection... Please viewers don't believe sundirect.. It's vest service is vorest

Sun Direct — Past 2 weeks there is No service

The Sundirect Connection was registered in my mother name (Sharadamma) below:

I was really frustrated to tell the service is totally nothing and it has been more 2 weeks I have given complained more than 3 times to the customer care people, I have followed all initial steps of action intimation to service provider via all media but there was not updates, callback or mail reply from there end.

With have great estimation on your service (consumer complaints) I humbly request to take some action on service provider the service effectively and also to grant the compensation for the lost period.

I had recharged sun direct a/c with Rs.249/-on 20.09.16. Till date Iam not able to watch any channels & still message goes on as service is currently scrambled . Iam fed up calling yr customer care. Pl do the needful at the earliest.

I'm Krishnamoorthy customer of sun direct. My smart card no. [protected]. I'm getting daily message to renew my subscription with 3 months + 1 months offer @ Rs. 597 /-. I had top-up 500 and customer care representative informed to top-up 100 more to update the offier. I had recharged Rs. 199 /- and customer care office confirmed the receipt of payment and he told me to hold for a minute and then he had disconnected the call. Again I had tried the customer care another person lifted and informed that no such offer for you smart card. He is telling by mistake message had sent. Customer were cheated by this way. Disappointed on seeing sun direct response. Customer handling is very poor. Not expected from leading brand in DTH connection

Can you send us the price list for each channel?
'Star Plus' and 'Star Gold' channels are not getting displayed in SUNDIRECT DTH in E-7, Arera Colony, Bhopal since 3rd December. Complaints are registered multiple times with multiple follow ups but of no use. Instead people are being asked to replace the set-top box with some charges whereas the issue is reproducible after change as well. The cost of set-top box is supposed to be borne by the SUNDIRECT company as the customers are supposed to get the display of all the paid channels within recharge duration as per commitment.
Also, could you please provide the issue resolution for the same?
