[Resolved]  Sun Direct — Worst customer care

I had recharged my account on 26.06.2008 through net. But it was not activated, I am not getting any channels on my TV. On 27.06.08 I called up customer care[protected] toll free no [protected]- not getting line), they booked complaint & gave me ref no-[protected], same time I reported to local dealer[protected]. This problem was not attended. Again I called up on 30.06.08, same they gave me ref no-[protected]. On 01.07.06 again I called up customer care, they not given proper solution, then I called up local dealer ( golden Flates, Mugappaire, Chennai), they toled me, there is no complaint booked in their register, then I started shouting, then they send person @ 6pm. That person adjusted the dish, now it is working.

But do not see any action but they are just foolling many day to day.
Their attitude against consumer is very bad. They are not responding after so many calls. No one is coming since 2 months for up gradation. poor service and poor customer care.[protected] [Courtesy Mr.Arun]

Hope the problems shall be solved immediately. To watch programs particularly DEEPAWALI SPECIAL hope the concerned authorities will take immediate action to retain their name in this field.

Repeatedly making complaints. Same type of irresponsible reply from different staff.
They never answer the BSNL toll free numbers.they waist too much time they speak rudely ask many repeat questions.they taking months together to solve the problem.the validity not extended even no service.Thanks for thier service
i am in tiruchengode nammakal district...i sow your free upgrading advertisement in information channal.. i am going to near customer center & ask for free upgrading service ...but they ask 150 Rs... what i do...please answer to my compaint..my sundirect no is [protected]R...
Such a horrible service from Sun DTH. For the past more than a month, their website says that the dish has to be reoriented to get signals and after repeated calls nobody bothers to fix it. Here I repeat:

I am from BLR logged a complaint with Sun direct customer care on 6th Oct saying day by day the channels are vanishing but so far no one has turned up to rectify the problem they promised me to send the technician but in vein no one has turned up so far, I have called your team not less than 20 times now and even reached your SME Mr.Thyagarajan but no improvements.
Even after servral efforts the problem is not rectified. I shall trow away the SUN DIRECT set up box and use the cable net work which is far better then this who comes rushing for a single call and rectifies the problem.

Even before I brought the Sun dth connection, I heard very bad about the service, response, recharge problem, etc about the Sun dth from my friends, neighbours, etc..inspite that I went ahead for sun dth during April 2010 due to the fact that they were emerging as a media gaint, their corporate stability, etc..after the expiry of 06 months, I got it recharged for a month(my good luck that I did not recharge for 6 months or more).. no body will believe since 04.11.2010 till today, i. e 06.11.2010, I had tried more than 50 times in each of the phone[protected] and Help line[protected], but every times the phones were tuned as 'busy". I agree that the management of Sun dth mean only money... i.e they earn the entire money during the initial installation...and for the subsequent recharge the profit margin is very meagre, hence they are least bothered about their customers(its an insider information)...So it is advised and cautioned to all such customers against keeping faith in Sun dth...and seek other connnections who care for the customers...after all please keep in mind that we ony are the deciding factor to make any medis gaint to climb up the ladder or down...best wishes to all

I had purchased Sun DTH Connection at Roop sri electorinics, Balanagar during 2008, I have been facing Realignment issues/problems and setup box issues, but when i canacted their balanagar office i was not getting proper response and finally it has been rectified with the help of out side techinician.And now i am not getting my Channels properly and it is throwing an error message that my Dish needs to reaign and when i contacted Your Dealer recently opened shop at Gajularamaram initailly they have taken my complaint and they have been making me roam around to their shop and finally i was told that they are not the Dealer no more of SUN DTH and asked me to contact thier dealer at Motinagar.I have no option other than contacting SUN Direct customer care and given my conplaint and its number is :[protected], with Esther on 2nd Nov, 10 and i was told by her that a technicain from Sun DTH will be visiting directly in 3days, but to my surprise till now no one has come to rectify the issue .

I have not seen this type of very very worst customer care and service from any of the Consumer Durable companies.

When can i get a technican finally.

I am not getting any channel properly from one month back, i called & given complaints to Toll free number but no response, This is worst dth service, If i get normal DTH better than Sun direct, If sundirect expierd validity, immediatly disconnected ur service, but that problem has ur side, can u give exten the vlidity?

Sundirct is one of the worst service i have ever seen compare to any other DTH. From Past 2MONTHS the connection is disconnected because the dealer is changed. I am trying and trying to toll free number and the call center # (Bangalore) these people doesnt pick the call.

i made big blunder opting sun dth they are realy fooling the people, i requested for the dish alinement's since 30 days and daily calling customer care in this no.[protected], no of channels are not available, every day they are promising this will be
corrected within 24hrs, i think god only can help in this matter.and i asked to add sony tv in addon package by paying 24 rs. that is from[protected], and they told it will be available after 30mnts.and the amount they deducted from the day i called them. can i watch sony tv in sun direct ? all indians are foold by these people

I am the one of the existing customer of sundirect DTH. My smart card number is [protected]. channels are not available on raining, signals are unavailable.only all channels your advt. only coming. Already complaint lodged with your helpline vide complaint No.1-[protected] on 24.10.10 and 1-[protected]/16.11.10 and 1-[protected]. But there is no use from your side.
No channels are available. Unnnecessary I am paying for the last 3 months. Pls arrange to reverse the money to my account.Necessary action may be taken without further delay.Regards:Sampathkumar, Chennai
