[Resolved]  Sun Direct — Worst customer care

I had recharged my account on 26.06.2008 through net. But it was not activated, I am not getting any channels on my TV. On 27.06.08 I called up customer care[protected] toll free no [protected]- not getting line), they booked complaint & gave me ref no-[protected], same time I reported to local dealer[protected]. This problem was not attended. Again I called up on 30.06.08, same they gave me ref no-[protected]. On 01.07.06 again I called up customer care, they not given proper solution, then I called up local dealer ( golden Flates, Mugappaire, Chennai), they toled me, there is no complaint booked in their register, then I started shouting, then they send person @ 6pm. That person adjusted the dish, now it is working.

The worst service ever we had as a consumer.When we loddge a complaint one of the technician behave rudely and also insisted us to disconnect our connection.He is the person who work navi mumbai area and his mobile number is [protected].

SUN DIRECT, A CONTRADICTORY BRAND NAME WHICH NEVER WORKS DIRECTLY. BUT DRIVES CONSUMERS CRAZY DIRECTLY. IT IS THE VERY WORST, TROUBLESOME DTH THAT I HAVE COME ACROSS AND REQUEST ONE & ALL TO REFRAIN FROM TAKING THE SAME. THE WHOLE FUNCTIONALITY IS CRAP AND ONLY FOOL THE MASSES BY ADVERTISING THEIR PRODUCT WHICH FAILS TO WORK. I ALWAYS HAD THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM FROM DAY ONE. COMPLAINTS ARE NEVER ATTENDED, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES, CALLOUS AND INDECENT ATTITUDE TOWARDS THE CUSTOMER ARE SOME OF THE ESSENTIAL FEATURES. I FACED FREQUENT DISRUPTIONS IN TRANSMISSION DURING NORMAL DAYS, LEAVING APART RAINY DAYS AS IT NEVER EVER WORKED. AFTER LODING NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS, A TECHNICIAN NAMED MR. SAMEER/SAMAY WORKING IN NAVI MUMBAI AREA (MOB NO.[protected]) WAS KIND ENOUGH TO PAY A VISIT ONLY TO MAKE THE MATTER WORSE WITH NO RESULT. SUN DIRECT HAVE THE MOST INSENSIBLE, INDECENT & ARROGAN EMPLOYEES. HE SUGGESTED FOR DISCONNECTION & WISHED US GOOD LUCK FOR OPTING OTHER DTH SERVICES. BEWARE SUN DIRECT
I have purchased a Sun Direct Connection with Smart Card No.[protected]R about Jan 2008. And twice got a connection of 12 months each.

Customer Support never responds to my requests even if it did so, that is only after months and My DTH Connection is frequently down once in every 3 months for a duration of one month.


Now Sun Direct has shifted to a new Satellite and I am only able to view 20 percent of the channels that I subscribed to. Sun Direct advertises that nearest dealer would make necessary alterations ( shifting the angle of the dish antenna), But My DTH again is down for about 15 days... God knows how many months Sun direct would take to get things right.

I have in all cases of my problems called the Sun direct Customer Care and Dealers and found Zero Response

Sun Direct DTH — no proper customer service

Sir,
I am customer of sun direct dth. I have problem with their satelite signal after that company change the satelite direction. Before 20 days i gave the complaint, the complaint number is 1-[protected], but there is no response from their side. This month 7th i called to customer care that time customer care person informed me complaint already cleared. But i didnot receive any correction from sun direct. Again give one complaint on 7th december 2010, that complaint number is 1-[protected]. Now i am not getting any channels through DTH, why i have to pay for this. Please clear my problem as soon as possible.

yes ... sun dth service is very bad.. one simple antenna realignment...they r not able to do after 20 or more calls..evrytime same answer pls wait for 2 more days.. already passed 1 month...customer care people use vulgar language sometimes...not at all customer oriented...

Sun direct - Sun Network Ltd — Careless Attitude towards Dish Alignment Resolution

Looking at the slew of compliants already on this site, I am sure, I am one of the large set of customers (Smart Card No - [protected]) who is facing issues with the careless attitude of Sundirect - Sun Network Ltd towards the resolution of dish realignment. It is quite obvious that this satellite change is Sun network's internal technical problem but needless to say that the consumers are made to suffer with no services being provided for the payment made.

I personally have waited patiently for close to 2 months now and atleast 5 compliants to Sun Direct Customer care and umpteen number of calls to the local distributor who never bothers to pick the phone. On top of all, the lackadaisical attitude of the customer care personnel is again something really frustrating.

I am sure some of my fellow frustrated consumers including me will turn to other DTH service providers and will never consider Sun in future irrespective of whatever service they provide. Incidently, there is an advt from Dish TV today that Sun DTH provides least no of channels compared to the other providers in the country. So, even from the service quality perspective also, I guess SUN DTH stands last in the crowd. If I were to recollect, Sun Direct has provided abysmal quality of service this year with large number of service disruptions most of the days this year.

If I were to make a direct question to all those in-charge, would you ever care to wait for more than a minute without disconnecting the service if some consumer fails to pay the due on time? This is yet another case to exemplify that this country is more "producer-friendly" and always will be..

P.S: I am definitely not hoping that this effort (complete waste of it) would result in the resolution of this issue but more for my personal gratification.
It is shameful to run such company, when you cannot handle such public broadcasting why to run such institution by cheating the public. Are you not answerable to public.

As a member of a service industry, i am telling Just believe me This is the WORST SERVICE i saw in my life. No one can give such a worst and poor service in the world. In the road side tea shop fellow is doing good customer service. .i can not compare with others at all.

day by day one to four channelgs getting disappeared.. we r facing this for the past three months...we are getting display as technical problems and during this time it should be free of service as mentioned. i spent 100s and 100s for calling customer care and waiting for their service... so many complaints logged. i wrote many complaints through mail but no one cares...

If some one decided to buy, please Dont buy Sun Direct. if still you want to buy its you are inviting RESTLESS moments to your sweet home.

Sun Direct Digital TV — No channels being displayed since 1 month

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!

We have paied money for the channels but the channels were never broadcasted since months.
When we call Customer Service, not even 1 person is capable enough to help us.
Prince - Customer service agent is not co-operative and helpful at all.

We are waiting for someone to call us back to get the channels broadcasted. Otherwise we will be filing a case against Sun direct.
Sundirect is very very bad and poor service. This sundirect is cheating to the customers(public).
How to know about sundirect?

We brought sundirect from Virar, Thane district,
Metro Electronics, Near petrol pump, Virar(W), Thane.
on May 2nd 2010
They given 6 months free payment...
but our setup box was some problem June to August.
we enjoyed only 3 months that also one by one by channel missing and no signal. after six months from the purchase date T.V. is blank... No signal only message is showing our sattlelet is changes after 21st Dec you can't get continues service.
We called 60 timesMumbai customercare, Chennai, Delhi, before that we inform to above dealer also. but that nonsense fellow told this is not our work, You call to company. When ever we compalining to sundirect customer care they giving only compalint no. only we will send some one... how many years will take from sundirect customer care to customers home i don't know... what a good service! ...
they cheating the peoples... Sundirect is eating customer's money & sleeping . this type of service they doing. They giving good good advertisement . but service is very very very...poor poor...
They foolishing the people. one point i got from sundirect. dish t.v is need, bring from other companies mistakely also not from sundirect this is my request to public. Specially Mumbai services is very very very bad & poor

The Sun Direct DTH officials must be barred iside for such criminal acitivities who are playing with the customers around world and the Central government as well as vigilance dept has to take immediate step to catch the owner of the SUN DIRECT DTH officers and customer care people who are playing with the customers by phone since 2 months

Sun Direct — Very worst support of Sun direct

I have never seen such a worse support in any of service company.
i have booked comlaint several times and observed such a foolish response from the executives.
as per the Call center sun direct dont have a mechanism to track back our complaint number as well.
rather they will keep on adding a new request when ever we call them and no executive will turn out for months together.


i request people not to go with sun direct and be a victim of it as i am now
Sun DTH is the useless service provider.

I never seen such a useless service provided other than SUN in my life.

Sun Direct is the worst service provider.. Though for the past 2 months we have contacted the customer care for dish realigment till date no action has been taken and we are unable to see any channels and always showing one same damn message of error.. our tv is shut from past 3 weeks.. and still the customer ppl have not solved our issue.. NEVER EVER THINK OF SUN DIRECT IN UR LIFE.. IT SUCKS BIG TIME.. JUST BY SEEING THE ADVT IN THE TV PPL THINK ITS CHEAP AND GOOD.. BUT THEY DUNNO HOW THE CUSTOMER CARE NO. CHARGES AND PPL HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIR FOR THE TELEPHONE BILL MORE THAN THE YEARLY RENTALS.. PLS FOR GOD SAKE NEVER THINK ABT THIS DTH.. GOOD LUCK !!!

its very bad customer care. after 15 days also they dont slove the problem.
they will commit something but they dont honour it.

dont buy sun direct.
