TATA Indicom — BILL GENERATED EVEN AFTER DISCONNECTION

ENCLOSING THE COPY OF LETTER FORWARDED TO TATA INDICOM ON 11.06.2009

Hereby I am attaching the correspondence made with your good office along with the dates.

MAIL DATED: 11.03.2009

I am shifting outside Mumbai so I want to get my broadband connection disconnected. For that purpose I spoke to customer care executive who has given me request No[protected], but he informed me that it will take at least 4 days for disconnection. Since my billing cycle is ending on 12th of his month it will be better and convinient if the connection is disconnected by that date. So I request you to take my broadband disconnection on priority basis and get the same done at the earliest possible. The details are given as under.

PLZ REFER TO MY EARLIER MAIL DATED 11.03.2009 WHEREBY I HAVE REQUESTED FOR TERMINATION OF MY BROADBAND AND LANDLINE CONNECTION. THE TERMINATION OF THE CONNECTION WAS EVEN CONFIRMED BY YOUR CUSTOMER CARE OVER PHONE. BUT TO MY SURPRISE I RECEIVED THE BILL FOR THIS MONTH ALSO SHOWING DUES OF RS 619.42. ONE MORE OBJECTIONABLE ACT COMMITTED MOST PROBABLY BY YOUR LINE MAN IS THAT, ON 19.03.2009 HE USED MY UNLOCKED WIRELINE CONNECTION TO MAKE CALL TO ONE OF THE EMPLOYEE (AJAY DUBEY). THIS IS A GRAVE MISCONDUCT COMMITTED BY YOUR EMPLOYEE. KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND TERMINATE MY CONNECTION BACKDATED FROM 13.03.2009.



MY REQUEST (AS ON 11.06.2009):

Confirmation has been given by your good office that the line has been terminated wef 14.03.2009. Again it was reconnected from your office without my knowledge and on 19.03.2009 a call has also been made by your employee using the unlocked line. Since 14.03.2009 I have not using that number. Despite this bill has been generated for 2 months.
Now daily I am receiving the call from your office of the outstanding bill for which I am not liable. Even they visited my house which was very harrasing. I request you to look into the matter at the earliest, and settle it, otherwise I will be compelled to approach appropriate authority to take action against the company. Hope you will take immediate action and oblige.

TATA Indicom — Welcome tune

Dear Sir,

We are consumer of Tata Indicom. we have two connection of tata indicom one prepaid and another on is post paid. The matter is that suddenly one day welcome tune has been activated on both phone without snding any sms to the service provider. After talkiing to service center, they did not gave me satisfactory answer. i registered a complain against the service provider but no answer afterward. Sir for welcome tune they charge 30/- per month. Sir i want my money back from service provider and request donot repeat this type of act.

TATA Indicom — low speed internet

I HAVE TAKEN COMBO PLAN DS 207 as per PLAN DETAILS
128 kbps & download ratio is 1/4 then as per formula

IF Speed will be 128 kbps @ 1/4 ratio then

Download KBPS speed = (Kbps value*1000) /4)) / 1024.

I.e. For a connectivity of 128 kbps

kbps value * 1000 = 128 * 1000 = 128000

128000 / 4 = 32000

32000 / 1024 = 31.25 KBps

Therefore theoretically an internet connection of 128kbps bandwidth can download at a speed of 31.25 KBps

Where I am getting speed of 14 to 16 KBps only regarding this i have lodge complain at customer care by phone & email many time but not getting any satisfactory reply from them I felt cheated

Hi All,

Please don't take TATA INDICOM connection. Chennia's No.1 Worst Connection is TATA INDICOM. For the last 5 days our internet connection was not working daily i am calling the customer care number 60607070 no response from their end. Simply they are taking the compliant and no action taken till date.
Please here no one take TATA INDICOM they are not fit for INTERNET SERVICE before you take the connection just check with other TATA INDICOM users and also try to contact the TATA INDICOM customer care no one will attend the call.

TATA Indicom — customer service is bad

iam the subscriber of the tata indicom since 3 years,
but incase of some problems i want to talk to customer care service, but they will not response, and not connected itself, this is very uncomfortable to the customer.right now also iam not able to talk to customer care service.please rectify the problem.

TATA Indicom — extremely pathetic service

I have applied for change of my non-sim phone to that of a sim mobile phone.After all the payments, i was told that my phone will be activated in 6 hrs.I contacted the customer care when my no. didn get activated in 16 hrs. They told me to go to the tata hub from where i had applied for change of connection.After telling them that its very distressing to go again to tata hub because of some default on your part they told me that sir you cant help it. After reaching the tata hub, i was told that my connection will be activated in 6 more hrs.
When it didn get activated in 48 hrs, i called up customer centre again on which i was told that my no. is activated( which actually was not).On telling them that the no is not activated, they told me that I need to visit CP tata centre for assistance.I told them that just for meagre change into sim, how much inconvinience have u caused to a customer, i told him to connect me to their senior authority, to which he after making me wait for 5 min, connect to a no. which kept on ringing for 7 min. but no body responded.Then on calling customer care, they aint giving any option to talk to customer care executive.
This was the wost possible service i have ever seen.
Tata Indicom is indeed the worst ever in service and behaviour with customers.
