[Resolved]  The Mobile Store — 5% Cash Back-Pathetic Customer service

I made a purchase on LG handset(KP500) around 2 months back and i was told you will receive cash back through check in 10 working days.Now when i am chasing/reminding them they have ready made answer "its in process" without checking the details i have got the complaint registered in their official website around 10 days back however no fruitful results obtain.

The Mobile Store / Nokia N73 Music Mobile — Gifted Shoes

This is a complaint about TheMobileStore at Ludhiana, National Road, Ghumar Mandi, Delhi.

My name is Gurdeep Singh and I live in Malerkotla PIN 148023 Distt.Sangrur Punjab. Want to tell the harrasment which I am facing from ThemMobileStore. I have purchased a Mobile model no. Nokia N73 Music, IMEI No. [protected] from them in the month of june' 07.

That time Reebok shoes had been gifted with Nokia N73 Music Mobile. I was told to get shoes after a week. Infact they had given me a written statement to get shoes after a week. Because that time shoes were not available of my size. But after a week when I went to TheMobileStore Ludhiana. They again said that shoes hasn't been arrived. I been so many times to TheMobileStore and called so many times. But all in waste. so till today i am not able to get my shoes.

I am totally frustated on their services.
Please tell what I have to do.

The Mobile Store — Faulty product, farce holiday voucher

We purchased a Nokia CDMA cell phone from The Mobile Store in March 2008 for Rs. 6000. We were given a Rs. 5000 "worth" holiday voucher, however the terms & conditions of the voucher are such that its practically impossible to redeem it. One had to make the request before July 31st for travelling befoer 30th September (who on Earth plans 2 months in advance!!!) In addition, its not free. One has to pay Rs. 650 per day and send a draft even before the confirmation is recieved.
Coming to the even more important point. The CDMA phone that we purchased had a faulty battery that hardly lasts for 30 minutes after charging. On making a complaint at The Mobile Store, we were told that the complaint has to be made to Nokia directly and that they cant do anything about it.
So we have ended up with a Rs. 6000 worth faulty phone and a useless Rs. 5000 worth gift voucher. I would advise everyone to stay away from the mobile store.

The Mobile Store / Nokia N73 — DEFECT HANDSET

Sir, I bought a Nokia N73 from the Mobile Store on 30/07/2008. Invoice No. TN / 01124 / 00001 / 8225, I had problem wth the set when I brought home, 2nd day I went to the store and complained that the set hangs while talking, restart automaticaly and switchs off while talking, but the store was not ready to accept it, they said it is normal since it is new, slowly the problem will solve, but this conitues and I complained several times, they were not listening to me.

Finally I gave the mobile set to the store on 23/10/2006, now they are saying since it is more then 2 months they will not replace, they will do the repair work and give me back. Even they promised me to give the mobile om 24/10/2008 i, e, within next day but today is 29/10/2008 i.e 7 days but when I call them they are giving me excuses not returning my mobile, please help me, please try to replace the hand set with a new one.
I had bought a Sony Ericsson mobile from mobilestore. I received an assured gift voucher, a holiday package of Rs. 10, 000/- for 3 Nights 4 Days along with my purchase. I called up your concerened travel agent, Travel Port[protected] to make booking for Jaipur. They are offering me normal rooms at Sarang Palace which costs arount Rs. 1800 (un-discounted) per night. Therefore, the cost of the package comes out to be around Rs. 5400/- (un-discounted) only. But my voucher is of Rs. 10, 000. When I expressed my concern regarding the same, they said they cannot help me in this regard.

I have also tried to contact mobilestore customer care no. 60006363 which is permanently switched off. I have even registered a complaint on mobilestore website and sent a complaint e-mail but have not received any reply to either.

I would advise all to stay away from mobilestore if you do not want to be cheated.

The Mobile Store / Nokia — Faulty Mobile Set

Dear Sir/ Madam,
i purchased Nokia mobile handset from "The Mobile Store Limited" on Wednesday 04 Feb 2009 in the evening around 7pm.
The mobile set has not been working properly since the time of purchase. I went and complained about the mobile set to the dealer in the morning next day and asked for a replacement, however the behaviour displayed was highly inappropriate and there was no cooperation extended, followed by which i called Nokia Care's head office in Gurgaon on the number[protected] and to my dismay the behaviour displayed there too was insensitive.
The irony is Nokia Care tells me to complain the Dealer as it was purchased and i had not completed 24 hours and they can replace it ; and Dealer tells me to complain to Nokia Care which shows the disregard which both of them have towards the customer.
Now i am finding myself cheated, because i am using a spoilt handset and both Nokia Care and Mobile Store are adamant on their stand, especially the behaviour displayed at the Mobile Store was extremely annoying and disrespectful as they stated openly that nothing could be done to them by anyone.

Nokia india pvt ltd(n -73) — regarding the nokia N-73

I have purchase the nokia N-73 mobile dated 14-july-08 containg 1 year warranty in this mobile set during january joystick problem was occure the problem is solved in the same month but after 15-20 day the same problem is arise i see the mobile to nolia care and during submission i conform from the care centre that theproblem is solved without money because it is under warrenty but when my relative go to there shop to collect the mobile they charrges us Rs 700/ I conneted to phone to nokia helpline but no positive feed bak is receive this is my complaint

The Mobile Store — Cheating in name of ASSURED GIFT

I purchased a Sony Ericson mobile phone from The Mobile Stores Paschim Vihar Delhi on 25/09/08. At that time the store offered some assured gift on all purchase. On scratching the card I was informed that assured gift was a travel package. As per terms and condtion given with the gift voucher I registered with the Travel Port (agency giving the travel package) on line on 20/03/09 ( Last Date 31/03/09) and paid Rs 999/- thorugh credit card and I sent the voucher and photocopy of invoice to the Travel Port Office Mumbai. I got an email confirming receipt of my voucher. On 08/04/09 I got a letter informing that as I as not available on my mobile number my request was rejected. When I contacted on telephone I was informed that last date is over. One can see that this was done deliberately as I registered 12 days before last date paying the required fee and after that whenever I contacted on telephone I was informed that I would get confirmation letter. Never I was told that answering their call on mobile is must.

I also sent a complaint on the email id given in the brochure but did not receive any reply, I requested to refund my money paid by credit card but did not receive any communication.

This is a clear case of cheating - instead of giving any gift as assured the mobile store has cheated me of Rs 999/=

Please take up the matter with appropriate/concerned person/authority for refund of my money and for stopping the mobile store from duping the consumers in the name of assured FREE GIFT.

The Mobile Store, Connaught Circus New Delhi — Cheating at "THE MOBILE STORE"

I PURCHASED A RAY T60 MOBILE YESTERDAY. LOOKS GOOD AND IS A PRODUCT OF REPUTED "THE MOBILE STORE". I WAS COVINCED BY THE MOBILE STORE STAFF THAT IT IS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY AND THAT THEY HAVE SOLD MORE THAN 25 SETS WITHOUT A COMPLAIN . BUT IS NOT RECOGNISED BY AIRTEL LIVE OR ANY OTHER MOBILE SERVICE PROGRAMMES, MOST DOWNLOADABLES ON THE NET DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THE EQUIPMENT. DOES NOT HAVE FM RADIO. COMPLAIN LODGED FOR REPALCEMENT TODAY. PEOPLE COMPLAIN I SOUND CRAZY ON THIS MOBILE. I CHECKED FOR MYSELF,

Nokia N73 — defective handset

Request for replacement : I purchasaed nokia set N73 on 22nd Jan 2009 from M/S Port Town Cellulars, Vssco wide invoice # 6828 & it's IMEI #[protected]. Started giving problems after three months. Five times said set gave to Nokia care centre, Comlink Synergies Pvt Ltd., Panjim Goa for the same fault and still the said set is with the Company. Now I LOST faith in the repairs of the above defective mobile set and hence I REQUESTED THE THE COMPANY to replace the same with the new set. ON 19.07 2009 I Send Email to [protected]@nokia.com but they have not replied me

BUT if i called them and ask the status they r telling me that we din't got any data in there system .so many time i called and waste my money but no response same answer from them.So try solve this problem.

The Mobile Store — faulty mobile set and poor customer service

I purchased a Samsung handset on 13th march 2009 at "The Mobile Store" seethaphalmandi, secunderabad. Since last month the mobile is not working properly, I went and complained about the mobile set and asked for replacement .The staff at the store are very careless and however the behaviour displayed was highly inappropriate and there was no cooperation extended.and irresponsibly (very rudely)answered me to go to any Samsung service center and they are not responsible for the faulty mobile set.
I felt very bad especially for the behaviour displayed at the Mobile Store was extremely annoying and disrespectful as they stated openly that nothing could be done to them by anyone.

The Mobile Store And Spectramind Marketing — gift not received (cheating offers)

I have purchased a mobile from mobile store in june and then on scratching a card i won an mp3 player.They told to send original scratch card and bill (invoice) to spectramind pvt ltd.I sent all documents which included the invoice copy also.I received an sms rgarding receipt of my applicatiion.till today i did not received the gift.when i called the call center of mobile store they said that my application was rejected because i did not send invoice copy.when i told them that i sent it they gave a number [protected] and told to call them.this number people never lifted the fone.my application number for the gift is 160330.please make sure that these cheaters be punished in a right way so that they will not repeat this again

I am working in a concern as EDP and i know hoe to handle the Electronic Devises like Laptops, Mobile etc.,

On 16th Oct ’09 evening time I purchased a Sony Ericsson W395 from The Mobile Store held at Sai Baba Colony branch (Coimbatore). The next day (17th Oct) morg I had a hanging of keypad problem (Only in Down Arrow and End Key Only) sir. So I sent one of my friends to the same TMS branch within 24 hrs. They Told some unnecessary reasons, really I m not satisfied that reasons. (On 18th I moved to my grandma’s home so I unable to go to the TMS branch.) On 19th I visited the TMS branch and they replied to me,

“Please go to the Sony Ericsson Service centre sir, its common problem sir, they simply solve this hanging problem.”

In this regards the next day I went to Sony Ericsson service centre held at DB Road (Coimbatore), I am totally shocked to hear the reply from the service centre officials.

“Sorry sir, Water Lock on your mobile, so the mobile was not in warranty sir.”

At the time I not like to argue with the Sony Ericsson Service Centre Authorities, because they had some rules and regulations. I agree to repair the mobile, because I purchased that mobile to give a gift for my friend. At that time I had some urgent work in my office (Splitting of Companies in the Tally.erp9) so I am not contact the TMS Store.

Between 21st to 27th I am totally busy in my office regarding the some tally.erp9 issues and meetings.

On 28th only I got a phone call from the Sony Ericsson service centre, your mobile is ready to use now, I went to the service centre and got my mobile back.

On 29th Morg I visit “The Mobile Store Website“and post my complaint there. Evening time one person made a call to me and asks the proof of the Water lock in the mobile from the Sony Ericsson Service Centre.

I got and scan both the Purchased Bill and Job Sheet from the Sony Ericsson Service Centre and send the mail to that person who has from the TMS.

Today Evening He made a call and refused the said proposal sir.

Then I spoke to TMS (Sai Baba Colony Branch) They ask a letter from the Sony Ericsson the letter should be contains a “Yes sir, we are agree to sending a Water lock Mobiles to the TMS Stores…! (just think, If it is possible sir.) I am from Financially Middle Family sir, they simply through me like a baseball.

I really suffered form lots and lots of people’s sir.

Kindly help me sir. WHAT I DO NOW….?

I bought a Samsung mobile (Model No-S3500) from the mobile store, surat,Gujarat
for that I got the gift coupen of scratch card in that I got prize of reebok tshirt,
I filled every thing and send it to Spectramind Marketing Pvt.Ltd.D-160, LGF, Sector-26,
Noida-201301 through "Shree Maruti courier" , consignment no-19691 on[protected].
According to shree maruti courier website my document received by Spectramind Marketing
Pvt.Ltd on 16/07/2009. At the time of purchase the mobile I had been told that I will
receive my gift within 45 days, now it is more than 4 months but till date I have not
received my said gift. I called them to phone no.[protected] so many times but nobody
pickup the phone.Again after couple of days when I called them again the phone is keep on
ringing no one is picking the phone.I also call The mobile store customer care to phone no.

I fully agree. Even i made a purchace on "HTC Touch P3452" handset on August 20th, 2009 and it was told for me that 5% cash back i will receive withing 6Weeks, now its reaching almost 6 months. Its very pathetic, when ever i call to Customer care they always say within this week you will receive the amount. I have registered a complain and i have complaint request Number : R[protected], but its of no use.

I duly followed all the formalities and sent the required bill ,mobile box cover,etc.

I was Assured to get the cash back in 4 weeks time,but till date I have not got
anything ,not even an acknowledgement from your side.

I started to believe that to improve your sales and to attract people you anounce some sort of
offer which you do not intend to honour.

It is a clear case of cheating of customers.
